Abstract

Students’ morality are changing over time in corresponding to the globalization era. This condition sometimes happens in the junior high school students. The Student fight to others shows the degradation of morality. Finding the solution by organizing Pesantren Kilat to respond morals degradation will be the crucial parts. This program may help teacher to turn their students on good morality. The problem of the research will be focused on the models of teaching in order to supply vision and mission of student moralities values in the form of Pesantren Kilat. An interview and observation was carried out in order to give theclues and detail information on the teaching models in Pesantren Kilat. The finding shows that behavioral technique through giving a good example has provided a significant changing on the students’ moral behavior. Even that there are several students point out that this program is only as part of Ramadhan activities, but at least it gives awareness on the students’ moral behavior.

Abstract

One of critical problem related to Islamic elementary school teacher is disadvantage teacher personality. An important aspect of teacher personality is self-efficacy. This study try to answer three questions — first, how to describe Islamic elementary school efficacy teacher profile? Secondly, what factors contribute to Islamic elementary school teacher efficacy? Thirdly, how to explain the psychological dynamic of Islamic elementary school teacher efficacy? Teacher efficacy was defined as the teacher belief in his or her capability to organize and execute courses of actions to successfully accomplish a specific teaching task in a certain context (Tschannen-Moran, Hoy, Hoy, 1998: 233). There were 132 teachers participating in this survey. They were administered Teacher Efficacy Scale which was developed by Bandura (by permission from Indigenous Psychology Team of Psychology Department of Gadjah Mada University). Teacher efficacy score was about average level to high. Some predictorscontributed significantly toward some teacher efficacy dimensions, but they did not correlate with the total score of teacher efficacy. The implication of this research will discuss later.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the background of the birth of the tendency of approach to learning science of Islamic law (fikih) STAIN Bengkulu and also to explore the tendency of approach to learning sciences of Islamic law applied STAIN Bengkulu. This research is descrip-tive-qualitative, the analysis method used is the method of qualitative analysis and determination of population by purposive sampling technique. The research concludes that scientific approach to learning fikih trend developing in STAIN Bengkulu not be separated from thegrowing trends in Islamic scholarship and scholarly discourse of the early establishment of Islamic Higher Education (IHC). Therefore, with the development of contemporary science, the scientific approach to teaching fikih at STAIN patterned into two trends: First, the conventional learning approaches that only apply scientific knowledge and teaching jurisprudence that is textual, so this approach difficult to encourage students to think dynamically and contextually. Second, contextual learning approach that has developed a scientific discourse of fikih withthe development of contemporary science, such as how to build aharmonious household not only from the analysis of the fikih paradigm, but also analyzed and studied from the point of view of psychology.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to map the opportunities of the Madrasah Diniyah inPalopo City, specially for institutional development context andanalyzing the challenges faced in realizing the ideal Madrasah Diniyahafter regional autonomy. This research is a qualitative descriptive. Ourcesof data are obtained from interviews, observation and documentation.Madrasah Diniyah development opportunities in Palopo supported bythe Center Education Qur’an that can be developed into a better madra-sah diniyah. Other opportunities dimension is the establishment of religionby the government of Palopo as the direction of development in Palopo.Challenges faced: first, the means and inadequate infrastructures. Secondly,there is no central figure. Third, public support is not maximized. Fourth,there has been no serious attention from the goverment. Fifth: the peoplehave felt confortable  with the Center of Qur'an Education.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan peluang yang dimilikimadrasah diniyah di Kota Palopo, khususnya dalam konteks pengem-bangan kelembagaan dan menganalisis tantangan yang dihadapi dalammewujudkan madrasah diniyah yang ideal pasca otonomi daerah. Jenispenelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data diperoleh dariwawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Peluang pengembangan lem-baga madrasah diniyah didukung oleh adanya sejumlah Taman Pen-didikan al-Qur’an (TPA) yang dapat dikembangkan menjadi madrasahdiniyah yang lebih baik. Selain itu, penetapan dimensi religi sebagaisalahsatu arah pembangunan Kota Palopo. Tantangan yang dihadapi,pertama: sarana dan prasarana tidak memakai. Kedua, tidak ada tokohpenggerak. Ketiga, dukungan masyarakat tidak signifikan. Keempat: tidak perhatian serius dari Pemerintah Kota. Kelima, masyarakat merasacukup dengan adanya TPA (Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an)
