Abstract

The research was conducted to know time inoculation effect of Peanut Stripe Virus on some soybean varieties. The research has been carried out at UPN "veteran" green house and aranged with Factorial Ramdomize Complate Block Design. The factors were time inoculation (2, 3, 4 weeks after panting and control without inoculation) and soybean varieties (Argomulyo, Bromo and Kawi) with three-replicauons. The result of the research showed that two week after planting inoculation incubation periode was 13 day after inoculation. Bromo varieties was heigiest on damage intensity and yield (34,50 grl plant) so bromo called resistance vaneties.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the interaction of aplicalion paclobutrazol and KN03 of flower growth mango there search was carried out at wonokerto in Probolinggo district. There search was done in Agustus1999, Applying split plot design. Result indicated that no interaction between application paclobutrazol and KN03. Treatment KN03 of four week after aplication Paclobutrazol (K2) influence on appear flower time and number of flower.

Abstract

This study was carried out within 3 months, started from August 22 untul 22 Nopember 1999 on paddy soil at Desa Sidoreja, Kecamatan Pare, Kabupaten Kediri. The soil type used in the study was Regosol. Trial design was factorial randomized block, with 3 replicats. The first factor consisted of organic mailer (8): Azolla (81): Paddy straw (82) and Eceng Gondok (B3) The second factor was dosage of organic matter with 4 level: 0,5,10, and 15 ton ha-1 The result showed that there was no interaction between kind of organic matter dosage and neither for soil pH, CEC, and soil Fe and Mn available. Azolla, Paddy straw, and eceng gondok increasing CEe, soil Fe and Mn on 0 - 20 em. Paddy straw can increase CEC, soil Fe and Mn within 20 - 40 em depth Azalia and paddy straw decreasing soil pH within 0 - 20 em depth but paddy straw decreasing soil pH within 20 - 40 em depth

Abstract

The research was conducted at ex-rice field farm in countryside of Klerek, district of Junrejo, Batu. The research took place in rainy season from October until December 2005. Research location resided at height 800 m above sea level. To understand the distribution of purple blotch disease at each observation time, data was obtained from the amount of leaf infection at every crop clump of sample from each experiment plot. The result of the research showed that at age 49 and 52 days after planting, patogen distributed randomly. At the time of early observation 49 days after planting, the distribution of disease followed theory distribution, that is, poisson distribution (p== 0,57). Hereinafter, at age 52 and 55 days, pathogen disseminate aggregately, by increasing age until age 61 days after planting, the distribution of patogen reverse to have random character. The development of disease in the early observation was linear and at age 58-61 days after planting,  it started in fonn of curvilinier. Abstract

Synthetic plant hormone saled in many trade mark as Grow Quick (GQ) used for subtitute of cytokinin and auxin ill tissue culture medium of orchid. TIle aim of this study is to know and get concentration of GQ BAP and GQ NAA in MS medium for the most favor of orchid plantlet growth. Research was conducted in Randomized Block Design was replicated three times. Dendrobium 3 months age as Protocorm Like Bodies (plbs) treated in concentration combination of GQ BAP and GQ NAA in MS medium: MO = MS (control), M. = MS + GQ BAP'l ppm, M2 = MS+ GQ BAP 1 ppm + GQ NAA 1 ppm, M3 = MS + GQ BAP 1 ppm + GQ NAA 2 ppm, M4 = MS + GQ BAP 2 ppm + GQ NAA 2 ppm, M, = MS + GQ NAA 2 ppm. The best plantlet growth was showed MS + GQ BAP 1 ppm + GQ NAA 1 ppm on leaves number and root nlunber.GQ BAP and GQ NAA did not affect plantlet length and plantlet number. Abstract

The goal of this research is to get information about variety of sweet potato which have the highest production level and kind of fertilizer which give higher production level than 3 other examined varieties. The research was conducted in rainy season year 2005/2006 in Nayan village, Maguwoharjo, Depok, Sleman, DIY, using 3 kinds of  sweet potatoes: Boko, Sari, and Kalasan and using 4 kinds of fertilizer: organic matter formed from chicken feces, compost, and green fertilizer, also using manufacturer fertilizer mixed from N (Urea), P (SP36), and K(KCl). The experiment used Experimental Block Design (EED) Faktorial with 3 replications, The observation was conducted to several parameters: the amount of branch, lenght of main branch, weight of crop, amount of tuber, weight of tuber, diameter and average lenght of saleable tuber, amount of  tuber produced per ha, and sugar content in the tuber. The result of this research was the variety of Boko gave better growth in the amount of branch (19.50) and the lenght of' main bronch (178.63 cm), also gave the highest tuber produced ha-1 (13.12 ton). Organic fertilizer (chicken feces) gave the best result with 10 ton ha-1 doses, for the entire important parameters crop growth and the yield product observed, whereas on the supporting parameters, they generally gave of the same.

Abstract

The aim of the research is gctting vgenotipe of soybean resistance to Ophiomyia phaseoli (Tryon). Resistance test was done at Research Garden of Agriculture Faculty Padjadjaran University, Arjasari-Bandung  in February-April 2003. Research was designed using Randomized Block Design with 2 blocks replication. The treatment is 104 genotipe of soybean, observation was directed to resistance plant on Ophimyia phaseoli (Tryon). Rate of resistance was arranged by Resistance Category according to Ruswandi et all (1993). Results of the research shown that 104 genotipe was tested, there is no resistance genotipe (R), Genotipe number 24 occupy at the first resistance and including in Rather Sensitive (RS), 2 genotipes include Sensitive Category (S) and 101 genotipes Very Sensitive (VS) Key words : Resistance, Genotipe, Ophimyia phaseoli (Tryon)
