Abstract

PT Ethica Megah Madani is a large-scale Muslim clothing manufacturing company. Even the production reaches 1.224.600 pcs per year. Meanwhile, the product produced are Muslim clothes for adults and children, men and women, headscarves, socks, with various different market segments. While the packaging for these products still uses vendors, the company wants a new business unit in the form of packaging printing for its product needs. In starting a new business unit, of course, planning become a reference when the business or production is already running. This study aims to plan the packaging production capacity so that the needs are met. Production capacity is the maximum number of units that can be produced in a certain period of time using available resources. The method used is Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), which is a method for calculating general capacity requirements and comparing them with available capacity. Next, perform an analysis on machines that lack capacity by adding time. From the processing results, it is known that there is one machine that lacks capacity and needs to be added, namely the screen printing machine

Abstract

PT Delta Dunia Tekstil IV is a company engaged in yarn spinning. The stages of the yarn production process include the blowing process, carding process, unilap process, combing process, roving process, ring spinning frame (RSF) process, winding process, and packing process. The problem that often occurs at PT Delta Dunia Tekstil IV is that there are still products that do not meet the specifications or standards set by the company in the production process, one of which is the winding process. Based on observations made on the winding process, the yarn that has the highest total defects with predetermined specifications is TCM 40'SK yarn, so it is necessary to carry out quality control analysis. from workpractice is to know product defects that often occur and to know the factors that cause and provide research on the causes of defects that occur. The method used is Statistical Process Control which aimsto analyze, control, manage, and improve a process or product. The highest types of defects in the production of TCM 40’SK yarn are neps defects of 66,00%, thickness defects of 31,63%, and thin defects of 2,37%. Based on fishbone diagram analysis, the causes of defects in yarn are from human factors, machines, raw materials, methods, and the environment.

Abstract

Companies that are involved in turbine repair service and maintenance often suffered from delayed work, which affected customer satisfaction and trust. Six-Sigma method is used to solve the delay issue. According to the research result, it is found that the capability of servicing process of a turbine in this company is 1.346s with DPMO of 560810.8. This condition is categorised as low, below the industry average in Indonesia of 2s with DPMO of 308.538. The main cause of the delay is with the unreliable work-hour prediciton, unreliability and unavailability of materials from suppliers, failure of the machines, and flawed scheduling. It is suggested to improve the service by work measurment to help predict the needs for repair schedule, rectifying the supply and maintenance system, as well as scheduling system according to the demands of repair service, repair time prediction, and the repair schedule of the machine itself

Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is a branch of science and application that studies how to prevent accidents in the workplace. One of the companies closely related to this program is PT. Swabina Gatra. Where this company is engaged in the manufacturing business in the form of "Packaged Drinking Water (AMDK)" with the brand "SWA". The problem that often occurs in this company is that the number of work accidents is still quite high. From the results of the study, the highest accident rate (incidence rate) occurred in 2018 with a figure of 5.67% for the last five years. Thus the proposed improvement that can be given using the 55 method in the kaizen concept is Seiri (Concise/Sorting) that is by applying sorting to items that are no longer used to make it easier to search when they will be reused. Seiton (Neat/Arrangement) that is by arranging things according to their place so that they are not scattered and look neat. Seiso (Cleaning/Cleaning) is by implementing a routine cleaning schedule for workers at each work station. Seiketsu (Treatment/Consolidation) is by applying employee discipline at work and implementing the appropriate Kaizen system. Shitsuke (Diligent / Refraining) is by enabling employees to consult when working with supervisors and the company should have a periodic schedule to conduct 5S/5R audits.

Abstract

Inventory control is a main activity for managing the amount of raw material inventory of the industry production process. PT. Pertamina RU II Dumai which engaged in oil and gas business activities have used Crude Oil as the major raw material in the fuel production process. Based on preliminary observation, it was found that the demand for avtur fuel was unstable during the period 2019-2020, decreasing to 54% whereas diesel fuel increasing to 17%. Consequently, this has an impact on the number of Crude Oil orders and also the inventory management. This study aims to determine the optimal amount of inventory, safety stock, the reorder point, and the ratio analysis of the amount raw material used during the era before and after pandemic covid-19 situation 2019 to 2020. Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) approach is proposed to place orders in the amounts that best fit its needs. The results of this study indicate that the number of purchases of raw materials using the EOQ method in 2019 and 2020 amounted to 3,525,563,777 BBL and 2,427,392.443 BBL. Total safety stock in 2019 was 10,031,979.39 BBL, while in 2020 it was 8,733,637.21 BBL. The number of reorder points in 2019 was 3,035,881,925 BBL and in 2020 it was 2,321,768,481 BBL. Regarding to this economic purchase of raw material quantity, it is found that the order size of Crude Oil decreased around 31.1% after the pandemic hit.

Abstract

ABSTRACT PT. Aksamala Adi Andana is a company that produces health products, one of which is "Habbie" telon oil. The increasing demand for products requires companies to maintain and improve the quality of their products. But there are still many defective products that are not in accordance with the standards set by the company. The percentage of telon oil product packaging defects in the January 2020 - December 2020 period reached 5.26%, exceeding the defect tolerance limit of 2%. Types of defects in telon oil product packaging include label sticker defects, cap defects, bottle defects, and folding box defects. Based on the analysis using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method, the results of the Pareto diagram show the order of the percentage causes of telon oil product packaging defects, namely sticker label defects (55%), cap defects (21%), bottle defects (13%), and folding box defects. (11%), and the results of the p control chart show that there are 7 of the 12 period points that are outside the control limits with a value of Cp = 0.9489. Based on the analysis using the Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (FMEA) method, the highest RPN value is 192 for the sticker label defect. The Kaizen method is used to generate proposed corrective actions for factors causing defects with the aim of reducing defective products.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku konsumen terhadap pengambilan keputusan dalam memilih minimarket sebagai tempat berbelanja (Studi kasus pada Masyarakat kecamatan Tigaraksa). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pengolahan data menggunakan software SPSS 26 dengan jumlah sample 100 responden yang merupakan masyarakat kecamatan Tigaraksa dan 28 variable. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh delapan faktor dengan faktor tertinggi adalah faktor lokasi, kemudian diikuti faktor harga, produk, sosial, promosi, pelayanan, pribadi dan faktor terakhir faktor budaya dengan nilai eigen value 1,008

Abstract

Super MD Tile Factory is an individual business that is engaged in the production of tiles in small quantities. One of the products produced is Mantili tile with make to stock and make to order production systems. Defective products in the production process cannot be completely avoided. The company sets a tolerance for defective products in production, which is 4.44%, but in practice the defective products produced can reach 8%. Types of defects such as porous, cracked, broken, cracked tiles, and charred.The work using the six sigma method and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), obtained a DPMO value of 16634 and a sigma value of 3.63. This shows that this value is still far from the world industry level which reaches 6 sigma with a DPMO value of 3.4.Based on the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method, the calculation of the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value is obtained. Based on the RPN value, the priority causes of errors were obtained, namely, errors when setting the temperature for burning tile 512 RPN, less careful in laying tiles 448 RPN, raw material composition 392 RPN, and errors in taking tiles that were not dry 224 RPN. Suggestions that can be given in an effort to improve the quality of tile products are to add temperature gauge items and check or inspect more frequently during the production process.
