This research is motivated by the existence of learners who prefer to own. Purpos of the research describe: 1) an overview of self-consep, 2) description of student achievement, 3) The relationship of self-concept and academic achievement. quantitative descriptive researceh, the population of students in class XI, amounting to 250 people and 71 samples. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. Data collection tools such as questionnaires and documentation in the form of grades. Analyzed data on self-concept and academic achievement using the data analysis techniques percentage, hypotheses testing to examine the relationship between self-concept and academic achievement using the pearson product moment correlation formula, the calculation using SPSS version 16.0. Data analysis results obtained: (1) self-consept less well categorized learners. (2) academic achievement of student in middle category. (3) The relationship of self-concept and academic achievement of students obtained 0.273 count r> r table 0.234. So based on this study the relationship between self-concept and academic achievement of students.

The phenomena at school, there are still some students do the truancy and played outside the school area during learning process. The research is to describe: 1) The internal factor that cause the students truancy, 2) The external factor that cause the students truancy and 3) The effort of counselor to overcome such problems. The research is qualitative descriptive with informant 5 students, 4 counselors and 5 parents. The data was collected through the interview and the validity of the data was tested by using triangulation of data, the collected data were analyzed with the interactive model consists of data collection, data reduction, display data and summary. The results of this study revealed the factors that cause truancy such as: 1) The internal factors no motivation and interest from the students itself and the physiology interference that disturb the students in studying, 2) The external factors no control from their parents, while the factor from the school was the teachers method in teaching that was not interesting to them, the way the teacher taught was hardly to be understood, so the students got bored to study, from the society what made the students truancy was certain behavior of society that bother their studying, 3) The effort counselor to overcome the students truancy observing the students behavior, do the cooperation with the school, giving the counseling and the summon letter to the parents.

Based on the phenomenon that researchers have found in the field obtained some information that the parental role is not going well. Thus, researchers from the incident raised concerns about the study: what is the role of parents in shaping the character of the child responsible. The purpose of the study to describe: 1) The role of parents in providing a wide range of homework assignments for children according to age. 2) The role of parents in providing role models responsible for the childs character. 3) The role of the parents to get children to participate security environment.This research is a descriptive qualitative research which seeks to describe the situation as it is. Informants of this research is all the parents and children of primary school age. Thus, the number of his informants are as many as 10 people consisting of 5 key informants that the parents and the child 5 additional informants. The instrument used in this study were interviews. The results of this study revealed that: 1) The role of parents in providing various kinds of homework assignments to the child in accordance with his age that the parental role is not perfect, 2) The role of parents in providing an example of exemplary character responsible for the child that the parents have not right thoroughly and give examples of exemplary character responsible for primary school aged children 3) the role of the parents to get children to participate security environment more stressed parents of children not to throw garbage everywhere, parents teach the child to engage in mutual assistance held in the neighborhood.

Human being on this earth can not be separated from the mutual interaction with other humans, because the humans are social beings. This is caused by differences in the demands of teachers and student achieving load. The purpose of the reearch to describ. Role of the counselor to build social relationship of the achievement student seen from interaction between individual by individual, individual and group. This research is classified as descriptive research with quantitative approach. The population is all students, amount to 185 people. Total sample of research are 60 people and the sampling is done by using total sampling technique. The research was conducted by administering research instruments to students who were sampled in this research. Collecting data using questionnaires about the role of counselor to build social relationship of the achivement student . The data obtained were analyzed by using percentage technique.The research findings revealed that the role of conselor to build are social relationship in both categories. Further visits each of the indicators are: (1) The Role of counselor to build social relationships of the achievement student in terms of interaction between individuals are in the good category, (2) Role of counselor to build social relationships to build social relationship of achievement student in terms of interaction between individuals with groups are in either category. Based on the research results, it is expected that counselor making guidance and counseling program that focuses on personal development flexible in the mix.

This research is motivated by the task of child development that has not been achieved. The purpose of this study was to describe the childs attainment of developmental tasks. This research is descriptive quantitative. Sampling was performed using total sampling totaling 50 people. Data analysis used the percentage techniques. The results of this study revealed that: 1) The task of the childs development in learning physical skills that are used for common games has been reached. 2) The task of child development in developing notions needed for daily life has attained 3) The task of the development of children in developing basic skills for reading less achieved. 4) The task of child development in a developing conscience, morals and religion has been reached.

This research was background by the condition which was found in field that discipline hasnât run well, because thereâs still student who donât obligate to the school role, teacher tag with other school personal hasnât run well, discipline which is implemented hasnât been done well at school, student recognizing to do it willingly still lack of hope, discipline disobey which is done hasnât been given suit solving. The purpose of it is to describe student perception about discipline solving by teacher and student perception about discipline solving by counselor.This research is descriptive quantitative research. The research population the all of students in SMKN 3 Padang , 430 students. The technique which is used in sampling taking was Simple random sampling, with 60 students who is at class X and XI. The instrument which was used in this research was questionnaire, meanwhile to analyze the data was used criterium formula Sturgess and percentage.The result shown that student in general it has been categorized as good with all teachers and counselor. Based on the result researcher suggested to the school personil and counselor to implement the discipline solving well.

This research motivated by the teacher scolded the students in learning, as well as the teacherwho hit the table at the time of hour lessons, the teacher who was teaching the words out that are lesscourteous to students, and the persistence of corporal punishment such as pinching students, studentsdespise storm at the time of study time, the lack of concentration of students in learning, when the dailyreset is still found in the student scores below a minimum completeness criteria (KKM). The purpose ofthis study describe: 1) emotional intelligence of teachers in classroom management, 2) the ability ofstudents to receive lessons, 3) Seeing teachers in teaching emotional relationship with a students abilityto absorb the lessons. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. With a population of 175students. Sample size was 117 people. With the technique of sampling simple random sampling. Theinstrument used for data collection in the form of a questionnaire, the data used for the analysis of personproduct moment correlation method. The results of research show that: the emotional intelligence ofteachers in classroom management quite well when learning takes place in the management of teachersemotions in teaching, as well as the students ability to receive a lesson in class, and there is a relationshipbetween emotional intelligence of teachers in teaching with students ability to receive lessons in juniorTamansiswa Padang, the correlation obtained with r_hitung 0.737> 0.213 r_tabel with a significance levelof 0.01 <0.05 so that it can be interpreted "there is a relationship between emotional intelligence ofteachers in teaching with students ability to receive lessons in junior Tamansiswa Padang". It can also beseen from the mean or average of the respondents answer is 205.79.

This research was back ground by student communication who havenât been controlled and there is no well acceptation among student. This research purpose to describe :1) effort of counseling in increasing the interpersonal communication skill of student to teacher at school, 2) the effort of counseling in increasing the interpersonal communication skill of student to their friends.This research is descriptive quantitative research. The research population is all student in high school 35 Padang, they are 452 students. The technique which is used in sample taking is stratified random sampling. The sampling which is taken is 82 students from class VI,VIII, and IX. The instrument which is used in this research is questionnaire, The result of research stated that generally the effort of counseling teacher in increasing the interpersonal communication skill is in good criteria. The result state the sub variable, they are : 1) the effort of counseling in increasing interpersonal communication skill to the teacher is in good criteria, 2) the effort of counseling tincreasing interpersonal communication skill to their friend is in good criteria.

This research is supported by factors that influenced the development of a career, that the students could not plan yet their future as well as determine career and life harmounious or appropriate, who could not understand and assess theirselves do not know yet various type of work that deals with the potential that exists in themselves, they still confused in the choices of career after graduated. The purpose of this research described: 1) The internal factors that influence the career development of students.2) The external factors that influence the career development of students. This research is descriptive quantitative research. Its population is all participants of class XII for 320 students. The sample was taken by using random sampling technique. This research took 76 students as main samples of this research. An instrument that used in this research is questionnaire. While for analysis of data in this research are used technique of percentage. The results of this research revealed that: The Internal factors that influence the career development of students in the category of many, and the external factors that influence the career development of students in the category of many, from the results of this research respondents recommend to the students in order to determine the factors that influence career development and develop their potential, BK teachers in order to provide effective career guidance services.
