Abstract

Abstrak : This research was conducted because of the result of learning social study class III B SD Negeri 22 Duri Barat. From  30 students who achieve  KKM just 12 students ( 40%) while students who did’nt complete 18 students (60%) with an average of  64,5. The purpose of this research to improve learning outcomes IPS class III B SD Negeri 22 Duri Barat with the application of learning models snowball throwing. The results obtained by the average value of 64,5 basic score increased in the first cycle of 18,29% to 76,3. In the second cycle the average value of students also increased by 32,6% to 85,6. On the basic of completeness score IPS student learning outcomes is only 60% (not finised). After the professor of applied learning model snowball throwing in the first cycle classical  completeness  increased  to 73% (not finised), the second cycle of classical completeness obtained are increased to increase to 87%. Activities of teachers at the first meeting of 75% with both categories. The second meeting increased 87,5% in the both categories. In the second cycle increased to 91,67% with the category very well. At a meeting of the second meeting of the second cycle, the activities of teachers in creased to 95,83% with category very well. Activities of students in the first cycle of the first meeting activity students acquire a percentage of 70,83% n both categories. The second meeting of the first cycle to 79,17% in both categories. At the first meeting of the second cycle of student activity ncreased to 87,5% in both categories and at the second meeting of the second cycle increased again to 95,83% with the category very  well. Key Words : Snowball Throwing, learning outcomes IPS

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the condition of Japan during the Tokugawa shogunate, to know what IS the background of the Meiji Restoration, analyzed the thinking of Fukuzawa Yukichi on the modernization of Japan, to know the development of education in Japan, knowing the cultural development in Japan and determine the effect of Fukuzawa Yukichi’s thought against Japan modernization. The method used in this research is descriptive method of historical research, a method that discuss several possibilities to solve actual problems with the way collect data, organize or classify, analyze, and interpret. The study concluded that Fukuzawa Yukichi thinking about modernization in Japan dilator background by the desire to make Japan as a free and independent country in the world. Fukuzawa Yukichi thought about the modernization of education is: a. Datsu A Ron (out of Asia). The most important target is "the pursuit of surpassing Western countries". In an effort to follow the example of the Japanese Western countries so as to expand and colonize neighboring countries before World War II. Fukuzawa idea was used by the military government which intends to build a "Neighborhood East Asia Co-Prosperity". The idea of the famous blaze in his book entitled "Gakumon no susume". Fukuzawa wrote "As the most powerful way to achieve the country's goal is through education because God does not put another human being". Thought Fukuzawa Yukichi that became a cornerstone in the development of culture in Japan are: cultural changes done in Japan should start from the local values deemed superior, applying mental Bushido or way of life samurai (hard working, honest, follow the leader, not individualistic, not selfish, responsible, clean heart, to be shameless). In Western culture we can all apply in our daily lives but traditional Japanese culture should still be upheld as the hallmark and foundation of life of Japanese society. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims at finding the ability of the second year students of English Study Program FKIP Univeritas Riau in listening to conversations. The writer used Cluster Random Sampling technique to choose the sample. There are three classes for population of this research consists of 90 students there are class A, B and C, class B was chosen as the sample consisted of 30 students. The instrument of this research was in the form of multiple choices test which consisted of tryout and sample. The test was listening test. The test had four scripts and each script had five questions based on listening question comprehension components, so there were 20 questions for the script. The writer used SPSS 16.0 Program to analyze the data. Based on the results, there are two students in the excellent level (6,7%), and eleven of the students (36, 7%) were at good level, 33,3% were at mediocre level, and 23, 3% was at poor level. So, from the result of the calculation, the majority of student’s ability in listening comprehension on conversation was at good level. The data also indicated that the highest score obtained by students was 85 while the lowest score was 30, and for each classification of question, the mean score of the students’ ability for finding main idea was 65,33 finding detail was 42,00, identifying inference was 66,00 and identifying restatement was 52,00. It means that identifying detail was the students’ lowest score and finding main idea was the students’ highest score of the second year students especially students from class B of English study program FKIP-UR in listening comprehension on conversations.Key Words: Ability,Conversation, Listening Comprehension

Abstract

Abstract: The research problem is in learning this knowlage social science (IPS student learning outcomes is still very low, there are still many students who are less able to infer the learning material, many  students are passive, lazy student asked. It is very clear from these problems, students can not absorb the material well. Seeing these conditions need to be changes and   improvements in learning process. Implementation Approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) to improve learning outcomes knowlage social science grade 1V SDN 014 Pujud on material economic activity and utilization of natural resources. Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)  is a learning process that emphasizes the involvement of students in full process to be able to find a material that is learned by plugging in their lives. Subjects in this study were students of grade 1V SDN 014  Pujud with total of sixteen students. The study is in the form of classroom action research (PTK) was conducted in two cycles with two meetings and one repeat of the end of each cycle. Data collection instrument in this study is the observation sheet teacher activity, student activity observation sheet and repeat the test end of the cycle. IPS learning ability can be seen from the increase in base score with an average value of 66.87 with complete categories, the first cycle with an average value of 74.04 with the category is not exhaustive and the second cycle with an average value of 90.03 by category completely. Evident from the average yield basis, the first cycle and the second cycle must be increased. In the first cycle of 62.5% and has increased very significantly in the second cycle of 87.55%. The results of analysis of data obtained from the results of hypothesis conducted refer  to standard completeness of student learning outcomes, and this means that the application of the approach Contextual Teaching and Leaning (CTL) is received and can improve learning outcomes IPS grade IV SDN 014 Pujud. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, IPS, Application of CTL approach

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted because of the low class IV student learning outcomes in social studies with an average of 68.20, and below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set by the school at 70 in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. Meanwhile, the number of students who reached KKM only 11 students (44.00%) while those not reached KKM amounted to 14 people (56.00%). The purpose of this research to improve learning outcomes IPS fourth grade students of SD Negeri 13 Gajah Sakti subdistrict Saber with the application of learning models make a match. The results of observation of activities of teachers in the first cycle of activity first meeting is 45.80% less category, at a second meeting be 58.30% enough category. At the first meeting of the second cycle increased to 79.25% both categories, and the second meeting increased again 95.80%. While the observation of the activities of student activity can be seen from the first cycle of the first meeting is 41.67% less category, at a second meeting be 54.17%. At the first meeting of the second cycle of 75.00% and second dipertemuan increased to 91.70%. IPS learning outcomes from initial data to the UH 1 which is an average of 68.2 increased to an average of 69.4 with an increase of 1.76% to 2 UH increased to an average of 81.4 with an increase of 19.35%.  Key Words: Make A Match, learning outcomes IPS

Abstract

Abstract.This study was conducted based problems of poor learning outcomes of students in science subjects. Of the 22 students obtained an average grade of 65,45 and 50% of students have not reached a value above the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) has been established, while the KKM predetermined namely 70. This research aims to improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students Elementary School 63 Pekanbaru through the application of the model Quantum Teaching. The shape of this study is a collaborative action research. Said to be collaborative because in this study the researchers in collaboration with the other fifth grade teacher. This research was conducted at the State Elementary School 63 Pekanbaru. While the study period starting from January through April 2016. As the subjects in this study were teachers and students of class V SD Negeri 63 Pekanbaru school year 2015/2016 the number of students as many as 22 people consisting of 8 boys and 14 female student. Based on the results of research and pembahsan it can be concluded that the application of Quantum Teaching learning model can improve student learning outcomes. Learning outcome from a base score to the first cycle that of the average of 65,45 to 72,50 with a 10,77% increase. IPA learning outcome from a base score to the second cycle that is average to 72,95 with an increase of 11,46%. This means that the application of Quantum Teaching learning model can improve student learning outcomes.Key Words: Quantum Teaching, Learning Outcomes IPA.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aims to generate a learning module using virtual PhET simulationson the material of dynamic electric to be valid and proper for students to use as a self-learning materials. This research type using Research and Development (R&D) method with a model of the development are Four-D Model. The module was developed through four phases accordingto the development model being used, such as Define, Design, Develop and Dessiminates phase. The research data was obtained from the results of validation by three experts as validators. Instrument validation using content validity to assessment module by Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP) which consists of four feasibility aspects’s modules with 56 indicators assessment module. Validation was done through two phaseswhich is validation in first phase and validation in second phase. The results of the validation first phase, modules got an average value of 3.54 so the quality ofmodules at the validation phase one was “Good”. The results of the validation second phase obtained an average value of 4.01 so that the quality of modules at the validation second phase was“Good”. Feasibility of contents’s module obtained an average value of 3.8in the category “Good”, the feasibility of presentation’s module obtained an average value of 3.9 tocategory“Good”, feasibility of language’s modules obtained an average value of 3.9 to“Good”categoriy and feasibility of graphical’s modules scored an average of 4.01 in the “Good” category. Based on the results of feasibility aspect’s module, the module has fulfilled the criteria of Self Instructional, Self Contained, Stand Alone, Adaptive and User Friendly. Based on the results of the validation, it can be concluded that learning module using virtual PhET simulations on the material dynamic electricwas valid and proper to use as a self-learning materials for students.

Abstract

                                  Abstract: The problem this research is the students achievement of social fourth graderes studies still low with an average value of 63,04 and minimum completeness criteria (KKM) social studies is 70. Between students, amounting to 28 people only 12 students who achieve classical KKM with 42,85%. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which aims to improve the student achievement of science studies class IVb at SDN 168 Pekanbaru with implementation  model problem inkuiri. Formulation of the problem : Is the implementation  of problem inkuiri can improve students achievement of social studies at SDN 168 Pekanbaru. The research was conducted month April. Subjects were students of SDN 168Pekanbaru, totaling 28 people who use the data source. The data collection instruments in this thesis is a teacher and students activities sheets and students achievement. This thesis presents the results obtained each day before the action  an improve in base score cycle with the average being 63,04. In the first cycle improve an average of 70,97 with increase big as 73,65. Activities of the teacher in the learning process in cycle of 1with increase big as and the second meeting improve to 60% and the second meeting improve 65%. Cycle II first meeting and the second meeting improve 70% to 80%. In the third cycle of the first meeting and the second meeting improve 95% to 55% and the second meeting impove 65%. Results of data analysis of students activities in the first cycle with the first meeting of an average of 70% and a second meeting improve to 75% in the class IVb at SDN 168 Pekanbaru that the implementation of problem inkuiri can improve the student achievement of science studiesat fourth graderes SDN 168 Pekanbaru.                     Key Words: Model Problem Inkuiri, fourth graderes Students Science.

Abstrak: To find out the Correlation between Arm and Shoulder Muscle Explosive Power and Eyes-Hands Coordination On Upper Service SMK N 2 Teluk Kuantan Female Volleyball Club. This type of research is correlation research, the population of this research is SMK N 2 TelukKuantan Female Volleyball Club, the sample of this research is SMK N 2 TelukKuantan Female Volleyball Club which is 25 in amount. From the first calculating analysis the correlation between X1 and Y, which rtable on significant level α (0,05) = 0,404 means rresult(0,424) > rtable(0,404), means hypothesis is accepted and there is a very strong correlation between Arm and Shoulder Muscle Explosive Power and Eyes-Hands Coordination On Upper Service SMK N 2 TelukKuantan Female Volleyball Club, the second analysis between Eyes-Hands Coordination (X2) on Upper Service SMK N 2 TelukKuantan Female Volleyball Club (Y), which rtable on significant level α (0,05) = 0,404 means rresult(0,248) < rtable(0,404), means hypothesis is rejected and there is a weak correlation between Eyes-Hands Coordination on Upper Service SMK N 2 Teluk Kuantan Female Volleyball Club, the third analysis, the correlation of Arm and Shoulder Muscle Explosive (X1), and Eyes-Hands Coordination (X2) on Upper Service (Y) is obtained, where rtab on significant level α (0,05) = 0,404, means Rresult(0,526) > rtable(0,404). It can be concluded that the correlation between (X1) and (X2) on Y or The Correlation between Arm and Shoulder Muscle Explosive Power and Eyes-Hands Coordination On Upper Service SMK N 2 Teluk Kuantan Female Volleyball Club is strong. Therefore Upper Service SMK N 2 Teluk Kuantan Female Volleyball Club can be predicted by coordination and power.Key Words: Explosive, Coordination, and Upper Service

Abstract

Abstract : The study aims to know the increased ability to know the form of geometry to the group B through the method of the project in Kindergarten Mutiara Bunda District Bangkinang Regency of Kampar. The research is the kind of research a class action or (PTK) which was held in two cycles. Every cycle consists of the planning stage, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this study is the group B of 15 children in TK Mutiara Bunda. The research be obtained through the method of observation and analysis data that was done by using analysis of the sort of descriptive set of quantitative and qualitative. Research show that this method of project can improve the ability of a familiar geometry to the group B. It can be seen from increasing the percentage of the ability to know the geometry of the child to cycle 1 of 37,10% with the criteria bud (MB) and increased by 35,36% on the second to 50,22% with the criteria developed in accordance with the hope (BSH). So, the method of project can improve the ability to know the alphabet geometry in children age 5-6 years ol in kindergarten Permata Bunda district Bangkinang CityKeyword : The Ability To Know The From Of Geometry, Method of Project
