Abstract

This study aims to analyze individual career development based on directed values and self-directed values to achieve objective and subjective career success in education staff at the Facultyi of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation and interviews and then the data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman (1992) interactive model. The results of the research show that career development is directed by values about the ability to manage and the ability to direct themselves as a proactive action to develop their career. Value-driven and internal principles that motivate and guide him in his career. Objective career success (material) is considered positive, because they feel that their income is in line with expectations to meet their needs and promotions or job rotations are considered positive because they get additional positions or assignments objectively based on ability and performance. Subjective (psychological) career success was assessed positively, because they were satisfied with the balance of personal and work life.

Abstract

Realizing the welfare and satisfaction of the community in services in the kelurahan as the spearhead of the regency/city regional government is strongly influenced by the performance factor of the kelurahan apparatus itself. So that the performance of the village apparatus needs to be improved with the factors that influence it. The purpose of this study was to measure and analyze the effect of the simultaneous implementation of the Empowerment and Leadership Program on the performance of the Village Apparatus in Muara Tami District, Jayapura City, Papua Province using explanatory survey research methods and quantitative approaches. The results of this study indicate that the results of the regression test calculation are that the Fcount value is greater than Ftable with data 19.613>3, 32. This means that the implementation of empowerment and leadership programs simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on the performance of urban village officials in Muara Tami District, Jayapura City, Papua Province.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the influence of teacher competence with five variables, namely motivation; skills, knowledge and ideas; learn to be independent; interactive competence; awareness and computer skills on teacher performance in implementing the 2013 curriculum in elementary schools in Merauke District, Merauke Regency. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the Slovin formula, the number of samples was 84 teachers. Collecting data using a Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study were using multiple linear regression. The results of data analysis: a) That motivation; skills, knowledge and ideas; learn to be independent; interactive competence; awareness and computer skills partially have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, and b) Collectively motivation; skills, knowledge and ideas; learn to be independent; interactive competence; awareness and computer skills have an effect of 52% on teacher performance and have a positive and significant effect.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of early warning policies in Belu Regency, which is analyzed based on the implementation theory of Van Meter and Van Horn (1975), with six factors that influence the implementation of a policy, namely: size and objectives, resources, characteristics of implementing agents, communication between organizations and implementing activities, attitudes of implementers and the social, economic and political environment of the policy. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods to identify the extent to which the policy is implemented. Based on the results of the study, was found that the implementation of the early warning policy in Belu Regency in accordance with the Belu Regent's Decree Number 42 of 2020 concerning the Establishment of the Belu Regency Government's Early Warning Team in 2020, has not been optimally implemented, that can be seen from the communication, coordination and cooperation that has been carried out, developed so far which is still limited, and the continuity of reports and recommendations resulting from the policies implemented in Belu Regency.
