Abstract

The development and growth of Hospital X is getting bigger and bigger, and has information system in running their operational activities. Hospital X itself has a server to support its activities, especially the administration system which contains data about their patients. With the availability of the network at the Hospital X, either through Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable, therefore it should be noted the bonds between networks and servers. Furthermore it is an important need nowadays to help minimize and anticipate the hacking crimes of the existing servers. One of the things that can be done is to monitor the administration and conduct vulnerability testing.Based on the background of the problem, it is necessary to evaluate server and network security using the vulnerability / penetration testing. In addition, this study also uses the guidelines of the CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), Acunetix, and CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) modules. The testing of this thesis aims to find weaknesses in the administration system at Hospital X. Some problems were discovered after testing, which each of the weaknesses has different handling or treatment, physical security server weak, and unused opened ports that should not be open.The solution offered to solve these problems, are: the use of Acunetix and CISSP as a standard network security as the solution to anticipate weaknesses, to perform maintenance on a regular basis for the hardware, software, and network, to filter the existing port, to increase the level of security of the server, and to test security regularly and periodically, either through consultation with the related field experts or using a guide (like Acunetix, CEH, and CISSP).

Abstract

Technology continues to grow from time to time. One of those technologies that still growing are web-socket and EaseIJS. Many people use these technologies to help website notification process. Those notifications are needed so that user can find out the latest news from a certain website. EaselJS is also one of the technologies that emerges in the field of canvas design.This website contains car sales that allows users to sell their cars throughout Indonesia without opening a physical showroom, as well as advertising in various places. The website provides complete information about the car being sold, from the interior and exterior.Based on test results, this website can run WebSocket function to provide latest ad, and EaselJS to edit the car’s interior pictures that will greatly help the guest to see the interior of a car in an image that has been edited.

Abstract

Currently, Petra Christian University Library provides a form for its users to recommend collection. However, this process is still done manually which causes frequent human error and difficulties in processing. In addition, user has not been able to obtain information about the loans status, including the return date and fines, if any. Based on those problems, the authors made a library user module application.This website application is created using Yii Framework and PostgreSQL database. For book collection recommendation system is based on the collection titles of user’s history loans which is processed by Solr application and user’s interest classification. The live chat feature is built using PHP Socket and HTML5 WebSocket.The final result of this application development is users can create a new collection recommendation and view collection recommendation that have been proposed along with its status. Users can also view their status and history loans as well as the book collection recommendations. Moreover, there is a live chat feature as a form of communication media between the library with its users interactively.

Abstract

The development of todays fashion world has increased. The number of sellers who sell clothes online through social media be a sign that the fashion world today has grown. Besides through social media, online shopping sites also sell a wide range of fashion products with items, brands and prices vary. The number of different types of items that make the customer the trouble to compare the prices item.. Therefore, in order to facilitate the customers to compare prices between items especially womens fashion, it is necessary to form a portal site that is able to collect a variety of information contained in this online site among Lazada, Zalora, and Tokopedia. the information in the form of price, items name, product description and origin of the site.The system has the ability to scrape data from Tokopedia, Lazada and Zalora using web scraping and web services. User can easily compare between products and systems also provide a simple recommendation system price comparison of the products being compared.Overall the systems can help users to compare between womens fashion and display products with lowest price. System also can display search results according to the keywords entered by users. In the process of data collection, web scraping takes longer time to retrieve data than data retrieval using web service.

Abstract

The vegetable is an excellent food for the human body, many various of vegetables that sold at market make vegetable contain many different contents and benefits, many societies understand about vegetable but many less understood what the side effects of certain vegetables. Nowadays,  there are many applications spread out there, but they could not get society’s concern because lack of image dan voice for naration.This application will give you knowledge about the content and the benefits, side effects, and processing interactively and it has images, sound, music, and interesting simulation, so that users could directly involved in the learning process. The material in this interactive media taken from 13 kinds of vegetables which are described the content and benefits, side effects, and processing. For content and material benefits, and side effects are provided animationfor material processing in the form of simulation. There is also a test to measure the users understanding towards material that already studied. This application was created using Adobe Flash CS6.With the simulation and animation that is contained in this application can really help users to understand the material being studied. Based on survey’s result from 30 respondents, 70% respondents agreed the explication from the material, 72.5% agreed that images support in learning process and 80% agreed   that animation support in learning process. Thus will increase interest in learning from user applications.

Abstract

The process of learning the lessons of history are often regarded as tedious, because the lessons of history study the events that happened in the past. Moreover, history lessons are also taught only by using an image or text. Therefore, in order that history lessons can become more attractive in it’s teaching, multimedia applications were made to teach the history interactively.This application resemble the learning system of Pattimura heroic history more interactive and interesting, because users are actively involved in the learning process. The teaching of the history starts from the birth of Pattimura, until death of Pattimura. In this application, there are also tests made, so the user can remember about the material that has been provided. This application is created using Adobe Flash CS6 and actionscript 3 as a programming language. Based on the results of testing of the applications and questionnaires, applications can be run by fully and strongly supports the process of understanding the historical material. This application adds to the interest in learning from the user, because of the interesting animation, and easy to use application. Users who doesn’t read narrative and do the applications in haste would have some difficulties to obtain a good final score.

Abstract

Development and competition in Indonesian University is extremely tight. Petra Christian University is also a Universitys with long-standing and well known to many people in Indonesia. Prospective students would like to see more clearly the shape, structure and atmosphere held at the University. Thus someone created a virtual map for Petra Christian University building by using a Head-Mounted Display Oculus Rift to display a simulation of the map Petra Christian University building. But the virtual map that has been created earlier is simply an empty simulation maps that contain only furniture - furniture and does not contain a virtual character, so that the simulation does not have any college atmosphere. So it was decided to implement a virtual character in a map that looks like a real simulation using a rule-based system.In the development of prior research program conducted every object in the form of the building, so hopefully the results obtained could resemble its original state. Giving materials to the models at the Unity are expected match the colors of the original state. Giving collision features intended to make the user cannot penetrate what as original state.Results on this program, the position and shape of character object in the building resemble the original state that existed at Petra Christian University. Time constraints in making become a major factor, so it’s cannot make the character more in detail. The whole room and the character of the building P 2nd floor has been made, there are only a few sections still incomplete, example on the large staircase of the building P and other small parts. Disadvantages of this program require computer high specification enough to run the program. This is because the resulting resolution on this program can be fairly large.

Abstract

PT. X is a company engaged in the field of industrial coating steel with aluminum, zinc, and silicon, known as BJLAS with brand name zinium. Information systems owned by PT. X has not been fully integrated because there are recording data or information that is done manually. Therefore, through this thesis will be analyzes the design and manufacture of enterprise information systems architecture for companies using Enterprise Architecture Planning method. Begins with the analysis of business models and business strategies that exist in the company by looking at the condition of the existing information technology as well as the problems and needs of information technology in the future. After that it will be making design data architecture, application architecture and technology architecture in accordance with the companys business strategy and process. System which already exists and is used by the company are for the sale, purchase, and production process. The result data of architecture for company consists of several sub-systems, namely Sub Systems Marketing and Sales, Sub Systems Purchasing, Production Systems Sub, Sub Systems Personnel, Finance and Accounting Sub System. Application architecture consists of main application like information systems Marketing and Sales, Purchasing Information System, Production Information System, Human Resources Information Systems, Finance and Accounting Information Systems. Each application is an application created using Visual Basic base that had been used the previous company. And supporting applications like Data Provider that helps the main application to request the required data from other applications. The technology architecture that used is the Client / Server Architecture and Service Oriented Architecture Pattern.

Abstract

Banyuwangi is the eastern most regency of the island of Java. The regency’s geography is quite diverse, from lowlands to mountains. Banyuwangi also has two nature reserves, which are very large and beautiful for visitors to see particularly marine nature. Tourism in Banyuwangi is also growing rapidly, ranging from city tours, marine tours, culinary tours, and other attractions. These attract many interests from tourists to visit Banyuwangi to see and enjoy tourism in Banyuwangi. However, the information about Banyuwangi tourism is quite difficult to obtain in a complete form and require a lot of time to collect from various sources. Relying on mobile devices that can be carried anywhere and easy internet access, an application for providing information to guide tourism in Banyuwangi was proposed.In this study, an Android-based tourism information application for Banyuwangi was developed. The application has many features that can help users, particularly information on places of interest, hotels, public transport, culinary, souvenir, and weather.Testing results show that the application can display local maps, routes, sorted list of places of interest by distance or travel time, weather forecast, and also provide an overview of Banyuwangi tourism through photographs and video clips. Using this application, the user can easily access tourism information in Banyuwangi.

Abstract

Transportation company XYZ is a company engaged in bus-based transport services. Most of the company’s business processes are done manually and don’t have any integrated information system. The company has a program created by a freelance programm, but the program’s features are still incompletes. Thus the analysis and design of enterprise architecture using Enterprise Architecture metod (EAP) are needed for the transportation company XYZ. The first process is analyze the business model and business strategy of the company. After that, identification process to know what information technology that company has, its problems, and company’s needs ini the present and in the future. After all information are gathered then design of data architecture, aplication architecture, and technology architecture process were conducted.
