At the moment, the Informatics Engineering Program needs a system that can manage an online registration, which can help in controlling the lecturers schedules and also a better way for theses title search. One problem that this department has, is in the system that controls the lecturers teaching quota that is currently having an issue. The issue is the fact that a lecturer could teach way more than the quota and vice versa. The process of scheduling and checking of the lecturers schedules for the theses proposal and theses defense is also a problem that raises in this department. However, the quota setting in this application will certainly could give an answer for both the lecturers and the students, since it will help making an equal division of the students quantity for each lecturer. Moreover, the application also offers a better way for theses title search in the sense that it makes the students easier to trace the previous theses titles that already existed and avoid any overlapping titles in the future. This theses title search feature uses SOLR technology to do a searching process that is counted based on the basic words from every searched word. The whole process in making this application is basically using yii framework and the database is using postgresql. Based on the testing result, this application succeeding to run smoothly. For additional thing in the future, this application can be added with a feature to check the theses titles that can no longer be used (already been used) and some title suggestions that are available (never been used yet).

These days traditional thing has been left behind not only by adults but also by children. One of them is folklore. It disappears because its package cannot interest the people. It needs a better package that interests a lot of people, for example game. The game in this thesis took folklore theme that would teach the children about morale values. This game was made based on PC game because electronic device are increasingly in demand and with adventure game-based which is a game genre that a lot of people like including the children.This game was made by Unity3D which is can place the objects that we use easier. Besides, camera setting which is a feature of Unity3D can make the setting of the 2D graphics easier. First of all, the folklores need to be parted into the playable-part and the non-playable-part. In playable-part, the player needs to solve some tasks to play the next folklore. In non-playable-part, the game will show an animation.This folklore game can interests the children to become a better person from the morale value. But, it is hard to implement folklore into adventure game for some folklores. For example Origin of Mahakam Riverâs Creek that has some complicated detail to express the setting of the story.

The learning process can be done by utilizing multiple media, such as sounds, images, and animation. In general, the available learning media only use one medium that is either images or texts. If you only use one medium, the learning process becomes less effective. Combining some elements of these mediums will complement each other, therefore this thesis create an interactive learning media.This application have 3 menus i.e. illness, digestive system, and test. The simulation was made interactive with hover, click and drag with the mouse, and by pressing the key on the keyboard. The test menu contains multiple choice and hangman. The test menu is created so the user can remember about material that has been provided. This application was created with Adobe Flash CS6 and actionscript 3 as the programming language. Based on the results of the testing, the application can be run sufficiently and can perform all the functions. The results of the survey content, memory and subjective satisfaction has a 85% of score because of easeness of use and clear navigation. A hurried user often had difficulties in doing the test because they didnât read the instructions given.

Technology is always evolving today is the smartphone. Even today smartphone can replace a lot of the role of one of the camera or computer and have become as one of the necessities for most people. The camera of the mobile phone one of which is widely used, but sometimes the picture is still not good so the need for image enhancement. Editing application on the computer one way to fix it. But with it still less practical because many processes that must be performed. Therefore, the application of repair and manipulation of digital images based on Android it easier to make edits or changes to the image.Systems made include the process of taking pictures from external memory smartphone, insert the image into the acticty main menu editor. This menu can be selected four existing menu ie brightness, contrast, auto contrast and blur. The auto contrast using the histogram method and using the RGB and HSV color space, while for the blur, brightness and contrast using RGB color space. This application is built using the Java programming language with the android his studio as an IDE.The test results show the value or number adders and multipliers for the brightness and contrast is very influential on the final result image, because it will make the picture look even brighter or darker. Giving blur effect cannot be given once to a high level of blur due to high blur effect makes the process will be long. In the process of auto results in images that are too light will produce images that appear broken ghosting or auto process works better if the images tend to be dark, large pixels also affects the work of the editing process.

Human circulatory system is a topic that is very important to be learned. But in the process to learn it, it takes a high level of understanding because it is difficult to say with verbal language. Processes that occur in it are difficult to observe, happened so fast or even too slow. One way to understand it is through multimedia.This application will resemble the human circulatory system more interactive and interesting, in which players actively involved in the learning process. Starting from blood, blood vessels, heart, circulatory, until disease. There is also a test to measure the ability of a user. This application is created using Adobe Flash Professional CS6.From the questionnaire result and human computer interaction test, prove that the simulation strongly supports the process of understanding the material. Therefore userâs interest in learning is increased, coupled with the easiness of application usage and user friendly.

Game is an entertainment media this is growing rapidly along with the development of technology. Adventure Game is a game that is more concerned with the storyline and moral message for the players. Physics is one of the lessons that discusses the natural phenomena that are not live or matter within the scope of space and time. Physics lessons started in junior high school education. In the eighth grade junior high school, there was a discussant physics lesson on Force, Acceleration, Work and Energy that are hard to explain without media.Therefore, in this thesis, author developed a game that can help students in grade 8 junior to study about Force, Acceleration, Work, and Energy with ease. This game is created using Unity. Unity is one of the media to create a game with 3D and 2D. The programming language used by Unity are C# and Javascript.Results obtained from surveys to students in grade 8 junior on this physics game can be summed adventure game Physics 85% interested, 70% in accordance with the lessons 8 junior class , 70% of the questions easy to understand, and 65% of the questions that are given can help the learning process of students in grade 8 junior well.

Lessons learned in the field of biology like human breathing often becomes a tough lesson to understand because in biology lessons often rely solely on pictures in the textbooks, while students can sometimes interpret the picture differently. One way to understand the biology of the concept could use multimedia applications these applications would pack the human respiratory system become lessons interactive and engaging, where users will be involved in the learning process.The material in this interactive media among others are breathing and respiratory phase, respiratory organs, respiratory gas transport mechanisms in the alveoli and respiratory disease. There is also a test to measure the level of understanding the user that has been studied from this application. With the rapid development of technology, the need of entertainment keeps going up. On the other hand activities and businesses among the vast majority of people are increasing. The existence of smartphone helps a lot of people to increase their productivity. Besides the general function of it, smartphone can also be used for gathering information and as an entertainment system.Android and iOS are the top 2 operating system that most people used. Using a game engine called Cocos2d, a game will be made for iOS operating system. Artificial intelligence with Finite State Machine method will be applied to this game on 5 NPCs, since the game is intended for single-player.With SpriteBuilder as an editor for user interface, Objective-C as the programming language and Xcode as IDE. A video game called Galactic Defense has been created by adapting its concept from a traditional game called "Bentengan" (or Fortress in English) which has been modified to adjust the handheld device. This game has 2 difficulty levels and a save game feature.

Most people do reading activities to gain knowledge, as entertainment or a hobby for people to read. From generation to generation, reading begins to decreases. Reading becomes obsolete. Nowadays, reading a book filled with writing would be boring. Books preferably instant and interesting than a book filled with long writing and tedious. While in general almost all history books are full of writing. So this time i will make an interactive multimedia that interesting and not boring about the history of the kingdom of Majapahit.In the manufacture of interactive multimedia about the history of Majapahit i implemented several important elements in interactive multimedia ie text, images, sounds, and animations are placed and adjusted the alignment between text, images, sound, and animation. The menu also made efficiently so that it can move from one topic to another topic. The addition of some visual effects that make interactive multimedia applications about the history of Majapahit becoming more.The apllication was tested to some people to see if the interactive multimedia about the history of Majapahit interesting or not. Amounting to 75,52% people said that the interactive multimedia about the history of Majapahit is more interesting rather than the book full of writing.

Along with the rapid technology development, the usage of computer input tools is also on the rise. Starting from a keyboard which had specific message for each button, developed into touch screen technology which enables human to interact directly with the screen; now technology in which a mere gesture is enough to input a command to the computer is being developed. Gesture detection can be done by the utilization of several tools. For instance, Kinect is one of the tools which are equipped with depth sensor that is capable to recognize and tracking human joints.The system being made is consisted of skeletal tracking process toward user and motion detection. Skeletal tracking process had been provided by kinect sdk. That skeletal tracking is utilized to detect users hand position. Users hand detection is used to detect the gesture that is done by the user. The making of this application  is done by Microsoft Visual Studio C# WPF 2010 and Kinect Software Development Kit.Therefore, this thesis is aimed to make an application which is capable in gesture and hand position detection on certain areas. This application utilized Kinect as the media for command input. The process starts from the checking of position movement, which will be identified as swipe gesture later on. In addition, hand position detection in specific areas is also being utilized, in order to determine how wide those areas is able to be touched by hand, when the users position is exactly in the centre of Kinects sensor
