Abstract

Voting or more commonly called voting is one method that is used by humans to make choices, decisions in a matter. In Indonesia alone voting is often used in the election of leaders such as the president, student council president and at the head of the organization. In the election in Petra itself there were many problems such as ballot paper folds for voting, long time duration on vote preparation and vote counting. In this case, the most affected by this problem is the election committee because it takes a long time and preparations with a lot of labor needs have not been added to by human error which can cause loss to many parties. It can be concluded that the problem is how to vote by using paper that is efficient and does not take a long time and how everyone only makes one vote once.To answer this problem, an electronic voting system was designed using rfid and also website-based thermal printer and barcode technology. By using this technology, each voter will get a receiptthat will be entered into the ballot box so that it can be re-audited if needed. In addition, this resolves the problem of inefficient paper use and reduces the burden on the election committee. voting must be regisified first and will be checked whether the voter has voted or not.

Abstract

Electricity nowadays has become a fundamental necessity for various human activities for various functions. In Indonesia authorized as a provider of electrical energy is Negera Electricity Company (PLN), to know the large electrical energy used, a tool is needed called kWh meters. There are two kinds of analog kWh meters and digital kWh meters. The recording carried out by PLN is now varied from the coming of the officers to record manually or by doing many prepaid systems. This kind of recording is a waste of time and is less effective to do in modern times like this that everything is instant.Things like this will certainly begin to be abandoned when not updated soon. It is therefore necessary to centrally read digital kWh Meter technology that can be accessed anywhere and anytime. Looking at the above problem, it takes an application to see the use of kWh, voltage, current, power, and power factor. To monitor the use of a tenant tenant centrally and anywhere can be accessed.This system uses Raspberry Pi and Website. This system can detect the use of kWh meters now with digital kWh meters connected with Raspberry Pi and the user or admin can see the usage of the website in direct. Users can view graphs of the usage of kWh, voltage, current, power, and power factor. In addition, users can also get notifications if they exceed the specified limit. This system can help record kWh on each tenant as an effective way

Abstract

In a wedding there must be guests who have been invited by the person who has the wedding event. It is clear that the presence of the guest is very important because it supports in enlivening the wedding. Of course, guests who have been invited by the bride and groom are guests who are highly expected to attend the wedding. When we invite guests to attend a wedding, it is necessary to share the invitation to let them know that they will be invited to attend the wedding.In this thesis, a guest management application based on mobile android will be created. The guest manager in question is managing guests in terms of sending invitations and reception. Delivery of invitations through the application is done by sending an invitation via e-mail. The wedding invitation also contains applications that must be downloaded guests because in the application there is a qr code as a marker of guest identity. In addition, if there is a door prize, then drawing or taking door prize winners is done in the application. In the application there is also a wedding schedule and there is a google maps direction if there are troubled guests looking for the location of the wedding. While in terms of reception is done by doing a scan there is a qr code that is in the application. So that when the guest comes, only with the qr code, the guest identity can be known. If the guest forgets to download the application then guest searches can be based on names.The final result of this thesis is the guest management application can help in sending wedding invitations and help reduce the queue that is available at reception.

Abstract

Recording and Calculation of Scores in AAIPSC sports requires speed and accuracy both in terms of accessing and inputting data. At this time, recording is done through paper, so the time taken to enter the calculation software takes a relatively long time. The author hopes that the application created can speed up the calculation and data can be stored to SQL server. With NFC as a validation system, it is hoped that data validation can be maintained at the time of inputting.

Abstract

The development of information technology is increasingly advanced and fast. Many technologies go into other fields such as agriculture. The most frequently used technology is IoT. All forms of IoT Technology will relate to the internet. This technology can facilitate people in the field of agriculture such as making hydroponic nutrients automatically with the website application. Obviously this technology requires microcontroller tools, sensors and other robotic tools.To connect with censorship tools and website applications, microcontrollers are required as a control center. Creating a website application using the PHP programming language. As for microcontrollers use the C++ programming language. On the website will be displayed data in graphic form. The process of sending sensor data to a website via a local server. The microcontroller used is Wemos D1R1 which has a wifi module.The result of this research is the microcontroller managed to run well with the website application. PH control and monitoring system, the concentration and volume of water running according to the setpoint specified by user. User Interface which is simple and easy to understand.

Abstract

The development of technology will certainly create new problems, where more client activity will be available to access existing servers. One example is the activity of registering an online study plan at Petra Christian University. Where most students log in simultaneously into the PRS system which results in full access to the server.This study will conduct a trial with the implementation of a container using a docker. Containerization technology is a very effective way to run an application. Where with containerization, it will set the entrance from the client to the server via the docker assistance and with some of the algorithms it has, namely Round Robin, hashes and Least Connection.With the tests carried out it can find the algorithm of the NGINX load balancer which is the most effective and efficient when distributing workload to the web service available in the online PRS case study. So that the PRS process going forward using existing algorithms becomes more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Games are in great demand from children to adults and games can also be played from several available platforms such as PC, mobile and console. Games have various genres such as Action, Adventure, RPG, Strategy, and many other types of genres for games. The purpose of this paper is to apply Finite-State Machines to improve FPS performance in games so that the game becomes light and comfortable to play. In previous studies FSM was used for testing AI algorithms and to assist in story formation introduce history in the game. Finite-State Machines are a method or design that will be created and implemented so that AI can make its own decisions based on predetermined conditions. Using the Finite-State Machines method because only one task is actively read so that other tasks are not read by AI in the program and light computing.The game genre that will be implemented in the game is the Real Time Strategy entitled "Attack on Toys". In the game there was a decrease in FPS performance because of the many soldiers in the game. Because this was implemented by FSM to improve the performance of the Game and the Game must still be fun when played by the player. FPS performance testing by comparing games without using FSM, using the first FSM design, and using a second design. Questionnaire testing was also conducted to find out whether the game was fun and whether the AI could work well when the game was played.Test results after the implementation of Finite-State Machines that from the results of comparison testing can increase FPS performance by up to 90%. Based on the results of the Game questionnaire it is still fun to play and AI continues to work as expected when played by players after the implementation of Finite-State Machines without reducing the quality of the game itself.

Abstract

As time goes by, more brands of makeup are popping up. From these brands, there are lots of different types of makeup products which are mostly the same. Because of the many new makeup products, buyers often find it difficult to determine which products are suitable for their skin condition. In assisting in the selection of suitable makeup products, a makeup product recommendation expert system is needed by giving questions that are easily understood by the buyer and the buyer will get recommendations for the appropriate products.Makeup product recommendation expert system uses knowledge rule based that uses an expert as a knowledge base to determine the rule. In processing the information that has been given by the user, the forward chaining method is used by checking the facts that lead to conclusions generated from these facts to test the truth of the hypothesis.The results of the application testing for makeup products show that the application can produce recommended makeup products that are in accordance with the wishes of the user. This decision making process also makes it easy for users because it can be accessed from anywhere and at any time.

Abstract

Employee’s productivity could affect the performance of a company, so it must be considered & maintained. One way to maintain the employee’s productivity is by monitoring the employee’s performance through their attendance. But, it also requires the right tool to prevent the forgery of attendance data input by employees. For example, if you use a timestamp machine, the company’s employees can fake data on their absences by entrusting the attendance card (to be stamped) to their colleagues. Therefore, an attendance program that is assisted by using a fingerprint machine, will be designed to help the company maintain the productivity of the employees of the Puji Surya Indah company. This attendance program consists of a user interface, which will be created using Visual Studio 2017, with the Visual Basic programming language. In addition, a database was also established to store employee, user, and attendance and payroll data, using MySQL. The final result of making this program is an attendance program, which can store personal data of employees, user data, along with attendance reports and employee’s salaries. The conclusion obtained from the making of this program is that this program is feasible to use, but still needs to be added features and justify the way the data is displayed; overall, this program gets scores of 66.6% good and 3.33% adequate from respondents.

Abstract

Currently at PT Teno Indonesia employee salary calculations is still using Microsoft Excel, in the calculation process there are many problems faced by companies such as Excel files that require a long time to open, then the attendance process whose data often occurs errors such as accidentally inputting the same attendance data twice and also takes a long time in the calculation.To overcome these problems, the author makes a system of calculating employee salary information that can help the company in its calculations. Information systems created using HTML5 and PHP as the main basis, and SQL for the database. In this information system the user has three different types of access rights, namely admin, manager, and hrd.The results obtained from the payroll application that has been made, namely, the application can calculate the salary of field employees based on attendance data, overtime hours and other salary components such as incentives, transport, TLK, and work location benefits. The application can also calculate bulk work and also the salary calculation of office employees. Based on the results of the existing questionnaire, 100% of the correspondents considered that the features made in this application were sufficient in accordance with the needs of the company.
