Abstract

Computer Screen Activity Monitoring Application is an application that used to help supervisors or lecturers or laboratory officers when supervise practical activity, in this case Multimedia (MM) laboratory. With this monitoring application, can capture screenshot of student’s computer without known by the student. So that supervisors or lecturers or laboratory officers can be assisted in supervising practical activities. For the implementation and the usage of this application at MM laboratory, there are two main entities, namely admin or lecturer’s side and client or student’s side. On admin or lecturer’s side, there are user interface and place that used to store screenshot of student’s computer screen. So, on admin or lecturer’s side, can see the screenshot image of student’s computer screen at certain period. On client or student’s side, there are no user interface, because on it’s side, only has background process. This background process only capture screenshot at certain time, then send it to admin or lecturer’s computer. So, admin or lecturer can see the result of captured screenshot from student’s computer. The result of this test shows that this application was running as expected. Background process that’s installed on student’s computer successfully capture screenshot image and send it to admin or lecturer’s computer. Other than that, on admin or lecturer’s side, can see the result. When testing the implementation of this application on MM laboratory, there is a little trouble. The trouble is on Firewall configuration that cannot connect between admin or lecturer’s computer and client or student’s computer. This research can be developed by making other platforms besides Windows, because apart from the MM lab, there are computers with operating systems other than Windows.

Abstract

Environmental pollution is increasing every day along with the increasing number of products and consumption behavior of the society in general. Things that must be done to overcome the increase in the volume of waste are to reduce the production of waste, especially inorganic types because it is very difficult to decompose and increasing society awareness to dispose of waste. Viewed from these two aspects, society need a system that is able to give them encouragement to dispose of wasteThe Android-based non-residual inorganic waste distribution application intended to help the owner in raising public awareness to dispose of waste, especially non-residual inorganic type. This application will be made using the Java programming language using Android Studio. This android-based application helps the admin to add as many drop post as possible so that it can reach the people in the city of Surabaya evenly. In addition, this application also records the submission process that has been confirmed by the confirmator also picked up waste by the courier so that the admin get the waste collected data.The test results show that this application runs well on devices with Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) but does not run well for Android 4.4.3 (KitKat) because some features can only run on Android 7.0.0 (Nougat) and above. This application runs the waste submission feature, the addition of the drop post, the notification feature, displays submission information, chat feature, and the navigation feature that makes it easy for the society to use the application so that it is expected to encourage the society to dispose of their inorganic waste.

Abstract

In this modern era, technological developments in the world are developing very quickly. This very rapid technological advancement makes work and exchange of data and information very fast, accurate, and efficient. But with this convenience, new security gaps have also emerged, such as the emergence of crimes in cyberspace (cyber-crime). These actions can be in the form of data theft, breaking someone's password, to distributing software or someone's data without permission. Therefore, this study aims to overcome these security problems by implementing the AES algorithm, ElGamal algorithm, and SHA3 hash function so that they can be used simultaneously to become a secure and solid encryption system.The testing in this study is divided into three stages, namely testing the system's ability to perform the encryption and decryption process, testing the system speed, and testing the web platform. From the test results, it can be proven that the program can encrypt and decrypt all types of files properly and can detect the authenticity of the file. In web testing, it can be seen that the web is able to send encrypted files to recipients properly without missing anything.This research produces a software that can perform encryption and decryption of various types of files and can verify if there are changes / modifications to the file. This research also produces a web platform that can be used to send files between users correctly.From the test results, the program can encrypt files with an average speed of 999.43 bytes/ms and decrypt files with an average speed of 450.38 bytes/ms.

Abstract

XYZ company is a company engaged in manufacturing car boxes. Box for sale is the result of the manufacture from raw materials purchased from suppliers and then processed by the production. The company want to replace manual systems to computerized systems, because by using the old system of recording transactions are less secure and not convincing in data storage. Thus, they need a system that can help improve company performance. Therefore, in this thesis designed an accounting system that can perform all accounting processes and transactions more quickly and with securely stored data.The process of making this software is started from the system design, analyzes the Problems Company have, and analysis of the needs that exist in the company. The modules are made using of Microsoft Visio for DFD, ERD using Smart Draw and also design tables and design a menu . This software is created using VB programming language .NET and Microsoft SQL Server also uses as data storage.Based on the results of testing, the program is considered to be in accordance with existing accounting system in general. This can be evidenced by the percentage of the number of respondents who answered the questionnaire.

Abstract

As time goes by, more brands of makeup are popping up. From these brands, there are lots of different types of makeup products which are mostly the same. Because of the many new makeup products, buyers often find it difficult to determine which products are suitable for their skin condition. In assisting in the selection of suitable makeup products, a makeup product recommendation expert system is needed by giving questions that are easily understood by the buyer and the buyer will get recommendations for the appropriate products.Makeup product recommendation expert system uses knowledge rule based that uses an expert as a knowledge base to determine the rule. In processing the information that has been given by the user, the forward chaining method is used by checking the facts that lead to conclusions generated from these facts to test the truth of the hypothesis.The results of the application testing for makeup products show that the application can produce recommended makeup products that are in accordance with the wishes of the user. This decision making process also makes it easy for users because it can be accessed from anywhere and at any time.

Abstract

The use of a smart home is one of the home control systems that provides comfort for homeowners to control electronic equipment using the internet. This concept is based on expanding the use and benefits of the internet of things by embedding a controller and sensor that can connect and share data continuously. Therefore, there is a smart home prototype that can control lights and electrical lines with easy access to control. This design, the device used is an Arduino Uno-based controller that is connected to a Wemos D1 Mini, Ac light dimmer, PZEM-004T sensor, PCB, and LCD. The method used is to log in to the android application and the system will respond to commands from the application and turn it into an aski, namely dimming and turning on the lights, or turning on and off electronic equipment. The final result of this journal is a tool that has been designed and an application that is used to make it easier for users to control electronic devices and check the electrical power used.

Abstract

During the guidance process, students must bring a guidance form to record the results of their guidance with the supervisor. But students often do not bring the guidance form so that guidance activities are hampered. And in online learning right now because of the Corona Virus Disease 19 (Covid-19) pandemic. There are difficulties in contacting the lecturer to be used as a supervisor so that it can hinder students in doing their final assignment. Seeing the background of this problem, an online thesis guidance application was designed with a mobile application in which there is a guidance form that can be accessed by students and supervisors anytime and anywhere. And has features that can help students communicate with lecturers in conducting their guidance. The results obtained from this application include a thesis submission form, a guidance form for the guidance process and a chat feature for student and lecturer communication

Abstract

Currently PT. Liberty Persada Sakti still uses CPM method when making schedule, because CPM does not factor in resources the result is not that accurate for estimating time period of a project. And all records of transactions done and calculation of RAB still done manually in papers and microsoft excel, that causes the company became susceptible for mistake made in calculating finance.Looking at the background of the problem, an appliaction is designed to help PT. Liberty Persada Sakti. The application will use Resouce Loaded Scheduling method for making schedule for a project, recording company finance and controlling project management. Application will uses PHP programming language and MySQL for making database.The results obtained from this thesis is that, the new system is helping the company to create and record RAB, and by comparing the calculated result from CPM and Resource Loaded Scheduling, both method have it’s own advantages and disadvantages.

Abstract

Restaurants are an alternative if there is no food at home or whenyou are traveling somewhere. Bali is one of the popular tourismcities because of the many tourists. The number of restaurantsmakes users confused to choose a restaurant that suits theirneeds. This recommendation application is made to help users inchoosing the restaurant that suits their needs easily.The initial step taken is the scraping process, after the scrapingprocess the next step is looking for restaurants that do not putprices which will later be calculated with the price prediction withthe Slope One algorithm after the data entered into the database.The recommendation calculation is done on the backend. When onAndroid, it only needs to make API calls.Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, theprogram has succeeded in collecting data, managing, anddisplaying restaurant data. The price prediction process with theSlope One algorithm has very good results. For the process ofscraping the data to be retrieved as the original data. The KNearest Neighbor calculation process was successfully carriedout and has sufficient accuracy with K of 35, has an accuracy of59%, and contains data of 7,890 restaurants.

Abstract

Football, or soccer is the most popular sport in the world. Whatmakes football special is the uncertainty and unpredictable result.There are a lot of factors that can affect the result of a footballmatch, such as strategy, skill, or even luck. Therefore, predictingthe outcome of football match can be challenging yet interestingtask.This research started with neuroevolution of augmentingtopologies, which useful to find the structur of a neural network.Then, the network produced by NEAT is optimized usingbackpropagation. Player ratings, team ratings, and playerposition are used as features of neural network.The hightest accuracies achieved are 81.5% on the final resultpredicting, and 48% on score predicting, were obtained throughNEAT network that optimized by backpropagation, with playerratings, team ratings, and total position from each sectors areused as features.However, on real life test, the player and team ratings areunknown. To calculate the player and team ratings, averagesmethods are used. Unfortunately, the network performed poorlycausing the accuracies to dropped significantly. Lack ofconsistency from player ratings are believed to be the mainproblem on calculating the player and team ratings.
