Abstract

Development of web-based monitoring and evaluation systems is required to overcome the obstacles and shortcomings in monitoring and evaluation of the academic and non-academic Bidik Misi students so that tasks and responsibilities of university that manages Bidik Misi become more optimal. In this research, the development of system is done using agile method with DSDM model with case study at  Sriwijaya University. Stages of agile method includes planning, risk analysis, engineering and evaluation, while the model DSDM performed on the stages of engineering and evaluation, which includes a DSDM model activity i.e. Backlog, Sprint, DSDM Meeting and Demo. The result is a monitoring system application of academic and non-academic Bidik Misi students which includes features of students management, management of students academic and non-academic as well as monitoring students academic and non-academic to be proposed in a case study Keywords: agile method, DSDM model, monitoring system, system development

Abstract

Network management is the ability to monitor, control and planning a computer network and system components. Monitoring the network is part of network management. Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is an application protocol on TCP / IP network that can be used for management and monitoring of computer network system. An application built with web-based will be able to provide advantages in ease of access, has a display in the form of a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to the administrator to read the conditions of a network of value provided by SNMP.The purpose of this study was to find a web-based monitoring system can be implemented using SNMP, as well as to determine the completion of the disruption of the network. From the research results can be shown that the monitoring system of web-based has been successfully implemented using the SNMP protocol as a data collection monitoring and database Round Robin (RRDtool) for the analysis of monitoring data and displays the data results of monitoring in the form of graphs and data obtained in the event of a network interruption enough accurate and sufficient information about the complete disruption.Keyword: network management,Simple Network Management Protocol(SNMP), website

Abstract

Analysis of computer networking is very important and necessary to help improve network performance. Many companies are designed their networks are not in accordance with its business goals, so the performance of the existing network of the company is not as they expected. Therefore required an analysis on existing computer network within the company, both in terms of performance as well as network design. Existing network designs are closely related to the performance of the network. In this study the parameters that exist in a computer networking such as delay, jitter, bandwidth, packet utilization, packet loss and throughput will be measured to determine the performance of the network and then these parameters are used as information to redesign the network to get better network performance and generate more structured network design according to the needs of the company. Keyword : network performance, Top-Down Network Desain, delay, jitter, bandwidth, paket loss, thoughput, network design.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pemahaman tentang tingkat kematangan ada atau tidaknya pengaruh teknologi informasi, kinerja dan pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi Implementasi Sistem Informasi di STMIK Pringsewu pada manajemen dan penggunaan Teknologi Informasi. Kuesioner dibagikan kepada dosen dan staf. Responden berdasarkan indikator diambil dari variabel kematangan teknologi informasi, kinerja dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dengan Domain COBIT 4. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik pengumpulan data, metode analisis data, metode analisis regresi. Pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS untuk menguji reliabilitas, uji validasi dan analisis regresi dan menggunakan Matlab untuk menghitung nilai JST sehingga diketahui pengaruh setiap faktornya. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terciptanya model dari 4 faktor yaitu Planning Organization, Deliver and Service, Technology Acquisition Implementation dan Monitoring and Evaluate. yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pelaksanaan Sistem Informasi di kampus STMIK Pringsewu. Kata kunci: Maturity, Pemanfaatan TI, Kinerja TI, COBIT, Analisis Faktor, Implementasi Sistem Informasi

Abstract

Refill of electronic phone credit is a method to do an electronic phone credit transaction to a hand phone number through electronic. The refill of phone credit through an electronic can be done by sending short messages using short message service (SMS) technology. The message will be sent with the format determined by the phone credit server. Every phone credit server has a different format or operator code. The seller (user) has to memorize specific codes so that it is apt to making errorssuch as in inputting the operator code or the amount of phone credit inputted is not correct. The application design used the development of software waterfall and Blackbox testing as the testing method. The phases done at the waterfall method are analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. This application has several advantages such as platform used was based on android. Another advantage was the integration of other facilities in this application. Besides as an application of phone credit application, there was useful information like phone credit information, phone credit transaction information and also daily or weekly phone credit information can be obtained easily. Users can select the available content menu in the application such as phone credit menu, balance ticket or change the pin without having to type the manual format such as having to memorize the code of each operator, so the level of errors in this case human error can also be minimized.Keywords:Phone Credit Transaction, Android, Waterfall.

Abstract

Natar Yadika SMA is one of the senior  high school  in Bandar Lampung  which is located on Jl. Sitara No. 84 Muara Putih  Natar, South Lampung. SMA Yadika Natar has two courses, namely science and social studies. At each new admissions SMA Yadika Natar has determined the majors for students done by the student  in the student section which  process refers to the value of report cards, results of written tests, and the interests of students who then recapitulated and calculation. A process which has been running at high school Natar Yadika can cause several problems including, the selection is not objective (results of calculations which are not in accordance with the interests of students), there can be errors in the calculation(HumanError). In order to improve objectivity in determining the majors in high school Yadika Natar. the research build a  Decision Support System (DSS) model in the determination of the majors for students / high school Yadika Natar. The system uses a method (TOPSIS) Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution to the stages of the intelligence phase, the design phase, the selection phase and the implementation phase.Decision support systems in school Yadika Natar which includes determining the majors for students / student is expected to increase the objective assessment and provide the right decisions with the best results in the establishment of a department Keywords— Decision Support System, TOPSIS method, determination of the Department.

Abstract

Genetic algorithms are search algorithms based on natural selection mechanisms and natural genetics. Initially genetics is used as the algorithm for searching the optimal parameters. But in its development, genetic algorithms can be applied to various other problems such as learning, forecasting, searching for the shortest path and so on. Genetic algorithm is widely used in the field of soft computing to obtain optimal parameter values on neural networks as well as fuzzy systems (Suyanto, 2011). Optimization and search techniques based on genetic principles are called genetic algorithms. The genetic algorithm allows a population of many individuals to evolve based on certain selection rules to the maximum fitness state (minimal cost function). Genetic algorithm is one solution that can be used in solving the problem of scheduling the course. The genetic algorithm is based on the mechanisms of natural selection known as biological evolutionary processes such as natural selection, crossover and mutation. Abstract

 The design of knowledge management based applications to monitor this academic achievement facilitated interface in the form of Applications used by the manager of academic achievement in Higher Education. Students' academic achievement is generally shown through the evaluation results in final form with GPA, as well as at Informatics Business Institute (IBI) Darmajaya. IBI Darmajaya to produce competent graduates in their field is not enough just to provide learning support facilities such as adequate facilities and infrastructure, reliable lecturers, good curriculum, and scholarship facilities. Application Monitoring academic achievement is needed so that IBI Darmajaya can continue to control the increase or decrease in student achievement so that it can pass on time. Therefore, the design of knowledge management based applications for monitoring academic achievement as an interface in the management of academic achievement is needed. With the stages of SDLC, knowledge management system will provide convenience in the design of applications, so the application produces information that becomes knowledge for IBI Darmajaya and the manager in particular can monitor academic achievement, controlling the increase in student achievement in each semester, so that students are motivated to learn and pass appropriately time. Abstract

Enterprise Architecture Planning is a method used to build an information architecture. Literally Enterprise Architecture Planning or EAP is a method of data quality planning approach that is oriented to business needs and how the implementation of the architecture is done in such a way in an effort to support the business wheel rotation and the achievement of mission information systems and organizations. Basically EAP is not designing the business and its architecture, but it defines the business needs and architecture. In EAP, architecture describes the data, applications and technologies needed to support the organization's business. SMA Negeri I Sukoharjo, as one of the providers of secondary education, also did not escape the need to define business needs and information architecture so that the direction of organizational development policy strategy can be well planned. this research is expected to SMP Negeri 1 Sukoharjo can have a good blueprint architectur enterprise and can be used as a proposal material to develop the information system, that is by building Enterprise Architectur Planning by using Zachman Framework which will produce a roadmap implementation of information system that is structured. Keywords:  Enterprise Architecture Planning, Zachman Framework, system, and roadmap.
