Abstract

The study focuses on the development of a web-based application designed to promote the Glodok Pancoran tourist destination in Jakarta, Indonesia. The primary aim is to enhance visitor experiences by providing comprehensive information on local culture, cuisine, and transportation options. The research employs a systematic design process involving use case, activity, sequence, and class diagrams for process planning, alongside conceptual and logical database design. The application highlights a user-friendly interface with sections dedicated to heritage destinations, culinary experiences, religious sites, virtual tours, transportation, news, and reviews. The application utilizes Next.js for the front end and Golang with MySQL for the back end, adhering to the Agile methodology. Research methods included surveys and interviews with village representatives, which highlighted a significant interest in Chinese culture and cuisine and identified a need for improved information on transportation and local attractions. The project successfully increases awareness and accessibility of Glodok Pancoran, positioning it as a prominent tourist destination.

Abstract

This thesis proposes a web application for sales recording at Huat Jaya Plywood, aiming to optimize sales transactions and reports digitally. The system replaces paper-based records to improve operational efficiency, where staff can record orders online via laptops provided, but customers can also enter orders independently. Key features include digital recording of all transactions and inventory management, reducing paper usage, and simplifying stock management and revenue monitoring. This is important for owners to analyze sales and support data-driven business decisions.The app is designed for three types of users: owners, staff, and customers. The owner manages products and orders, the staff is in charge of recording customer orders, and customers can input orders independently as well as through laptops provided in the store. The system will include frontend and backend using HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL as the database. This web-based application will provide a strategic tool for the owner in managing and developing Huat Jaya Plywood's business in the plywood sales industry to be more modern and competitive.

Abstract

In the era of rapid digitalization, all types of businesses, from small to large, need to enhance their competitiveness and provide added value to their customers. This research aims to develop a web-based application that can serve as a comprehensive solution for Manjur drug store in addressing challenges related to efficiency and data accuracy in medicine management. This research is intended to assist in the development of a web-based application that can be a comprehensive solution for the issues faced by Manjur drug store, which still conducts sales and data management manually that resulting in various risks such as errors in medication stock recording and a lack of store visibility. The application design are follows the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodology using the Waterfall model, employing the ASP.NET framework, C# programming language, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and SQL Server as the database. Therefore, it is expected that the application will improve the store’s operational efficiency, enhance data accuracy, simplify customer access, and strengthen Manjur drug store competitiveness in the market.

Abstract

Misdinar at Santa Maria Imakulata Church, called the Altar Boy of Saint Tarsisius, is a group in charge of assisting the Priest at the Church Altar during a Eucharistic celebration. At this time, Putra Altar Santo Tarsisius still records attendance on duty manually using Google Forms so that it is considered less efficient in recording the attendance of members on duty. So in this study, a website design was carried out to record the attendance of members on duty with the aim of assisting in recording the attendance of members after each duty. The scrum method is used in designing this website and using the Laravel framework and MySQL database.

Abstract

Universitas Tarumanagara, particularly the Faculty of Information Technology, supports the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) industrial internship program to enhance student competencies through partnerships with companies and the provision of accessible information on internship vacancies. However, the current system used for managing these internships faces limitations that impact the effectiveness of industrial internship management. Many processes remain manual, leading to inefficiencies, delays, and an increased risk of data errors, which complicate comprehensive monitoring of student internship activities by both the university and partner companies. To address these issues, a web application is designed to eliminate these limitations and automate manual tasks. This solution aims to enhance the efficiency of internship data management, reduce recording errors, and enable real-time monitoring of internship activities, fostering transparency and accountability. The application design employs the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, specifically the structured and sequential waterfall model. This approach systematically defines requirements from the beginning and ensures that each development stage is completed before progressing to the next. The waterfall model is chosen for its clarity and orderly progression, ensuring that the application effectively meets the needs of all users, including students, faculty supervisors, company mentors, and administrators.

Abstract

Perkembangan pesat dalam teknologi informasi telah mengubah proses bisnis di berbagai sektor khususnya dalam penjualan berbasis website yang kini menjadi kunci dalam digitalisasi bisnis. PT Selalu Maju Bersama Batam, yang bergerak di bidang sparepart mobil telah memanfaatkan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi penjualan berbasis website untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan efisiensi operasional. Dengan menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD), pengembangan situs website dilakukan melalui fase iteratif sehingga memungkinkan penyesuaian cepat berdasarkan feedback dari pengguna. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan fitur manajemen produk, pelanggan, pesanan yang lengkap dan mendukung transaksi yang efisien dan akses data yang lebih baik bagi pelanggan. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode User Acceptance Testing (UAT) dan black box untuk memvalidasi kinerja fungsional, dengan hasil yang menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan 100% untuk semua fitur. Sistem penjualan berbasis web ini secara efektif memenuhi kebutuhan operasional PT Selalu Maju Bersama Batam. Kehadiran sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu perusahaan dalam meningkatkan penjualan.

Abstract

This research Aimed at improving the customer experience and order management process, this study concentrates on the creation and deployment of the By. Bingkiss online ordering website. The study looks at the specifications for a user-friendly platform that can accommodate registered and unregistered users, so providing simple access to order placement tools, galleries, and product catalogs. Establishing an effective online ordering system that satisfies By. Bingkiss's business demands and offers a flawless user experience is the main goal of this research. The study approach used consists in qualitative interviews with the store owner to ascertain business needs, then in the development of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and database design (ERD). With MySQL for database administration, PHP is used for the backend and HTML, CSS for the frontend, is constructed. To guarantee the website operates as it should, testing stages including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) were carried out. The results show that by means of a disciplined and easy-to-use user interface, order administration is facilitated, and real-time access to product information helps the By. Bingkiss website effectively fulfill its goals. Establishing regular maintenance rules helps to guarantee that the website stays user-friendly and functional. This study comes to the conclusion that the By.bingkiss website is an essential instrument for improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, thereby helping the company to develop.

Abstract

Unipro store is a store engaged in the sale of cellphone accessories. Unipro Store conducts product purchase transactions from suppliers. Then, it sells its products back to consumers through various sales media. In addition to providing direct purchase options at the store, Unipro Store also accepts orders via Whatsapp and markets its products through Tokopedia and Shopee. All transactions are still recorded manually using a notebook. Manual recording of transactions makes it difficult for shop owners to search for historical transaction data and has the risk of losing data because there is no backup if the book is lost or damaged. In an effort to overcome these problems, a system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML) was implemented as part of the waterfall methodology to conceptualize an web-based application for transaction recording and stock management. This design aims to streamline the management of purchasing, sales, and product stock data. UML diagrams were employed to model the processes and system structure, providing a clear and organized visualization of the system requirements. The system design approach using UML effectively supported communication among stakeholders, ensuring that the design aligns with requirements and serves as a solid foundation for future development.

Abstract

Best Interia adalah perusahaan produk interior pelengkap jendela dan ruangan, menawarkan berbagai pilihan seperti curtain, blind, screen, door, dan wallpaper. Berlokasi di Tanjungpinang, perusahaan ini menghadapi tantangan dalam pemesanan manual yang sering menyebabkan kesalahan pada perhitungan harga berdasarkan dimensi produk, terutama karena setiap pesanan memiliki detail seperti lebar, tinggi, dan varian produk yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi penjualan berbasis web dengan menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD). Sistem dirancang untuk mempermudah proses penjualan dengan fitur otomatisasi penghitung harga berdasarkan dimensi dan varian produk, serta memberikan kemudahan bagi admin untuk mengelola produk dan pemesanan melalui website. Dengan pendekatan RAD, pengembangan dilakukan secara bertahap dan melibatkan umpan balik pengguna untuk memastikan sistem yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Hasil perancangan sistem informasi penjualan web untuk Best Interia memudahkan pelanggan menjelajahi dan memesan produk interior secara online, serta meningkatkan efisiensi operasional melalui fitur pengelolaan produk dan pesanan bagi admin. Basis data Supabase berbasis PostgreSQL mendukung pengembangan berbasis data relasional yang optimal dan mudah dikelola. Metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) memungkinkan desain, implementasi, dan pengujian yang cepat dan responsif, memastikan sistem memenuhi kebutuhan bisnis secara efektif.

Abstract

The design of a web-based boarding house operational application with a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach aims to improve the efficiency and accuracy of operational management at Kos Mandiri. This application is designed to replace the manual recording system that has been used, which has the potential to cause data errors and hamper productivity. By applying the UCD approach, this application ensures that the features developed are in accordance with the needs of users, both residents and boarding house owners. The design of the application display, which has been outlined in the form of wireframes, is expected to provide convenience in managing room data, payments, and complaints, as well as improving user experience. This application is expected to be a more efficient, transparent, and accessible solution for better boarding house management in the future.
