Abstract

The goal of this research is to know the impact of inflation rate, interest rate, outstanding money to exchange rate. The period of observations are divided into two, year of 1990 – 1996 and year of 2000 – 2006. By using regression analysis are found that for the period of 1990 – 1996, all independent variabels simultaneously affect the exchange rate significantly, but partially only the outstanding money affect significantly to the exchange rate. While for the period of 2000 – 2006, all of the independent variables do not affect the echange rate significantly. Keywords: inflation rate, interest rate, outstanding money, and exchange rate.

Abstract

Modern management make more sence when viewed in the light of its foundations; the search for a harmony of people and organizations undertaken by the modern berhaviorists actually began many years ealier. These efforts were directed at a just adapatation of human needs and aspirations to the requirements and goals of the organizatios. “Harmony” means agreement between the part of design or composition that gives a pleasing unity of effect, whether it be in music, art, or organizational life. This article probes the modern quest to resolve the conflict between the logic of efficiency and the logic of sentiments, the search to meet human needs while fulfilling the objectives of the organization. Keywords: Human, organisations, management.

Abstract

Along with the forming of East Halmahera Regency at 2003, development activities develop rapidly. One of several determining factors of development success is determined by nation apparatus resource. The number of PNS that become the population in this research are employees in the Capital of East Halmahera Regency that isMabaCitywhich total population is 617 persons.           Human resources management influences organizational performance by increasing employee’s commitment that supported by good behavior of all employees. When each employee has commitment, good individual characteristics and good motivation, every employee is hopefully will be able to get working satisfaction and then, these satisfied employee will be able to increase their performance.           In this research, there is 200 employees or 31,32 percent (200/617 x 100%) from the whole population. However, the fact in the field shows that the number of questionnaire as the result of respondents’ answer cannot be tabulated completely, because there is only 194 questionnaire that considered appropriate. It is because 6 of them are destroyed and cannot be interpreted. Sample collection is done by using proportional stratified random sampling technique. Relation among variables in this research is analyzed with SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) with AMOS 4.01 program.          The result of examination to Goodness of Fit Index (GFI) criteria after model is modified shows that confirmatory analysis and structural Equation Modeling in this research can be accepted because of model fit with Chi-square score = 164.94 (critical value < 124.34); GFI = 0,924 (critical value > 0,90); and AGFI = 0,841 (critical value > 0,90). From the result of this research model, it is found out that organizational commitment, career development and work motivation is effective enough when it is used as stimulator of jobb satisfaction and employee’s performance. In other words, work satisfaction and employee’s performance can be improved through organizational commitment, career development; work motivation and individual characteristics. Among organization commitment, career development, work motivation and individual characteristic variables in the forming of jobb satisfaction and employee’s performance, individual characteristic gives the lowest contribution. It shows that individual characteristic is a factor that needs to receive better attention in order to support employee working achievement. Keywords:    organizational commitment, career development, work motivation, individual characteristics, job satisfaction, employee performance, East Halmahera Regency.

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as an individual behavior that is discretionary, not directly or explicitly recognized by the formal reward system, and that in the aggregate promotes the effective functioning of the organization, although discoursed in the literature as gender-neutral, gender is deeply embedded within the concept. This paper tries to explore OCB and its dimensions and its relation to gender. A number of argumentations suggest that two dimensions of OCB ( altruism and courtesy) alhought not exclusively, are stereotypically associated with women’s behavior, while three other dimensions of OCB ( sportsmanship, civic virtue and conscientiousness) highlight characteristics that are stereotypically associated with men. Keywords: organizational citizenship behavior, altruism, courtesy, sportsmanship, civic virtue, conscientiousness, gender

Abstract

The objective of this Dissertation (1) to verify and analyze the influence of private investment toward economical development. (2) to ensure and analyze the influence of government investment toward the economical development. The find in this dessertatition are (1) Government investment and private investment fromSurabayaand its hinterland city influences enough for economical growth. (2) the existing of hinterland area which influences the economical growth are Pasuruan and Mojokerto. Practical implication for Surabaya Local Government are: (1) to stimulate the village economic growth through the improvement of secondary town plan in the form of small business which give service and marketing of farming tools and material in order to stimulate of the absorption of employee more over in agriculture sector (2) the improvement of administration capacity for secondary town to organize the manufacture growing more efficient and regional development. Keywords:      Migrant; Economic Growth; Urban Economy; Central Business District (CBD).

Abstract

The main objective of the study is to examinal the effect of interest rate, inflation, foreign exchange rate, IHSG and management of fund on return mutual fund in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The technique sampling is purposive sampling. As much as twenty mutual fund as sample for this research .The result of the study show that variable of SBI is not significant effect on return mutual fund, with p value 0.0764.Variable of Inflation rate is significant effect on return mutual fund with p value 0.0018. Variable of foreign exchange rate is significant effect on return mutual fund on return mutual fund with p value 0.0000.Variable of IHSG is significant effect on return mutual fund with p value 0.0027. Variable of management of fund is not significant effect on return mutual fund. Key Word: Mutual Fund, Inflation Rate, Foreign Exchange Rate.
