Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between maritaladjustment and subjective well being with marital conflicts Research retrieve datathrough a questionnaire given to 40 couples (80 subjects) with the marriage between 5-10 years of age, have children and live together without any other family in thehousehold, such as parents or in-laws, or other relatives who are also factors thatintervene in the conflict. The result of multiple regression analysis found the value of F =7.422; R = 0.402; p = 0.001 (p <0.01), yangmembuktikan that marital adjustment andsubjective well-beingmemiliki significant correlation with marital conflicts. It found thatthe marital adjustment and subjective well-being able to contribute negatively to themarital conflicts of 16.2%. Results of correlation between marital adjustment withmarital conflict obtained by t = -3.122; r = -0.334; p = 0.003 (p <0.05), which showed asignificant negative correlation between marital adjustment with marital conflicts.Factor subjective well being with marital conflict obtained value t = -2.636; r = -0.288;p = 0.010 (p <0.05), which means it has proved the existence of a significant negativecorrelation between subjective well being with marital conflicts.Keywords : marital adjustment, subjective well-being, marital conflict

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between social support and selfefiaksi to employees affected by layoffs. The hypothesis of this study is that there is arelationship between social support and self-efficacy of employees affected by layoffs.This study was conducted on employees affected by layoffs at Semple number 70 usingrandom sampling techniques. Data collected through scale social support, self-efficacyscale and scale resilience of employees affected by layoffs. Data were analyzed withregression analysis showed a significant correlation between social support and selfefficacywith the resilience of affected employees dismissal from work, there is arelationship hypothesis (F Reg = 126 126 p = 0.000). Furthermore, the hypothesis thatsocial support and resilience of employees affected by layoffs no relationship (Reg F =4.667 p = 0.495), whereas self-efficacy with the resilience of the employees affected bylayoffs no relationship (Reg F = 4.994 p = 0.517)Keywords : Resilience, Social Support, Self Efficacy

Abstract

The purpose of this study to examine the relationship between self-acceptanceand social support and happiness in the elderly community. Research variables weremeasured using a scale of self-acceptance, social support scale and the scale ofhappiness. Subjects were 90 elderly spread over the area Ketintang, Rungkut andSidoarjo, ages 65 years and older. Data were analyzed using regression analysis. Theresults showed that the variables of self-acceptance and social support associated withhappiness. Where happiness has a significant relationship with self-acceptance andsocial support with results in F = 25.084 and p = 0.00 (p <0.01). With the obtainedpartial test Parthia r = 0,143l and t = 1.356, p = 0.178 (p> 0.05) means there is noconnection between self-acceptance with happiness. Social support relationships withhappiness obtained partial r = 0.424 and t = 2.728, p = 0.008 (p <0.001), meaning thereis a positive relationship between social support and happinessKeywords : self-acceptance, social support, happiness

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between family harmony andconformity peers in juvenile delinquency SMK "X" in Surabaya. The method in this studyusing a quantitative approach. Subjects were taken by random sampling technique ofdata collection tools used is the scale delinquency, harmony scale, and the scale ofconformity. Anaisa data using multiple regression analysis. The results of calculationsusing multiple regression analysis showed at t = -4.354, p = 0.000, meaning that therewas a significant negative correlation between family harmony with juvenile delinquency.The higher the level of family harmony, then the lower the rate of juvenile delinquency.From the results of partial analysis shows that t = -0.170 at p = 0.030 (p> 0.01),meaning there is no correlation between peer conformity with juvenile delinquency. Theresults of multiple regression analysis showed the value of F = 11.551, p = 0.000, whichmeans that there is a significant relationship between family harmony and conformitypeer to juvenile delinquency. Family harmony and conformity to peer can be a predictorof the level of juvenile delinquency with R2 = 0.160. This means that effective sumnganjuvenile delinquency and peer conformity to juvenile delinquency by 16%, students 84%are influenced by other factors.Keywords : juvenile delinquency, family harmony, conformity peers

Abstract

The purpose of this study to examine the relationship between religiosity andconformity with subjective well being in jamaan Muslim Al Hidayah Surabaya. Thesubjects were 70 members of the congregation Al Hidayah Surabaya at the age of 50-60years. Data obtained from the religiosity scale, adjustment and subjective well beingtested using statistical regression. The results showed that there is a relationship betweenreligiosity, adjustments with subjective well being in jamaan Al Hidayah Surabaya withthe value F = 71.848 and P = 0.000 (p <0.01). The results of the partial correlationbetween religiosity and subjective well being shows F = 0.808 and p = 0.000 (p <0.01)and the partial correlation between adjustments with subjective well being shows F =0.815 and p = 0.000 (p <0.01).Keywords : Religiosity, Adjustment, Subjective well being

Abstract

The objectives of the study are to investigate the effect of Applied BehaviorAnalysis method on autistic children’s language development skill and to help parents tocoach their children in order to communicate better. The research uses some theories onlanguage development in American Academy of Pediatrics; Evaluation and Management oflanguage and Speech Disorders (2005), Speech and Language Milestone (2006), and ChildDevelopment, Santrock (2007). The subject of the study, are 4 autistic children as theexperiment group with the mothers in an intervention program with languagedevelopment’s module which is assisted by psychologist and a linguist. Data sample istaken by purposive sampling technique (subject group study based on study objective) withone experiment group only. Analysis is used to see the result of before and after treatment.The result of paired sample analysis shows t = - 4,753 p = 0,018 (P < 0,05). It means thereis a significant increase on language development of the autistic children.Keywords : Applied Behavior Analysis, Children with Autism, Child Development, LanguageDevelopment.

Abstract

Research discussed about difference of Self-efficacy between achievementmotivation looked from learning manner with function for to know is there any differenceSelf-efficacy looked from learning style and is there any difference between achievementmotivation looked from learning styles. This research had been done in Phsycologydepartment in Universitas 17 Agustus Surabaya. Method of research is comparasional.Before did the analys of strip varian inter-group was done brochure normalitas andhomogenitas test. Based on the result of one strip varian inter-group was found is resultSelf-efficacy looked from learning styles was gotten that F=0,456 with p=0,635(p>0,05). Its means Self-efficacy to all of subject group was found there was nodifference between learning style by visual, auditori and kinesthetic. Meanwhile result ofachievement motivation looked from with p=0,882 (p>0,05). Its means achievementmotivation for all subject group was not found difference between learning styles byvisual, auditori, and kinesthetic.Keywords : Self-efficacy , Achievement Motivation , Learning Styles

Abstract

Husband social support, multiple of role conflict, and job stress examined in acorrelational quantitative research. Subjects were 50 Women’s Careerist. Researcherdeveloped two research instrument of measurement, namely the scale of job stress andthe scale of husband social support. Data of study variables were analyzed with themultiple regression. The results of the analysis are: 1) Values of R = 0,440 and F =5,627 and p = 0,006 (p < 0,01) showed that correlation of husband social support andmultiple of role conflict with job stress among Woman’s Careerist simultaneously is mostsignificant, 2) Partial regressions coefficient B of husband social support = – 0,143 andp = 0,381 (p > 0,05) shows no correlation of husband social support with job stressamong Women’s Careerist; 3) Partial regressions coefficient B of multiple of roleconflict = 0,206 and p = 0,006 (p < 0,01) shows correlation multiple of role conflictwith job stress is positive and most significant.Keywords : husband social support, multiple role conflict, job stress, Women’s Careerist.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to examine the relationship between emotionalintelligence and anonymity with cyberbullying in terms of gender. This study was donewith quantitative methods. Measurement variables of this research using a scale ofcyberbullying, emotional intelligence scale and the scale of anonymity. were Subjectsjunior high school students in Sidoarjo, which amounted to 44 students with a lifespan of13-17 years with a mix of men and women at least 21 of 23 students, which is inaccordance with the criteria as perpetrators of cyberbullying. were analyzed usingregression analysis, partial correlation,and Anova. The results showed: first, there wasno significant relationship between emotional intelligence and anonymity withcyberbullying. second, there is a positive relationship of emotional intelligence withcyberbullying. Third, the anonymity has a negative relationship with cyberbullying.Fourth, the difference in cyberbullying behavior between men and women, where menthere is a tendency to become perpetrators of cyberbullying.Keywords : Emotional Intelligence , Anonymity , Cyberbullying
