Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan keterampilan proses sains antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (problem based learning) dengan siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran Langsung (Direct Instruction). Untuk itu, maka dilaksanakan penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan non equivalent, pretest-posttes, control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X semester genap di SMA Pariwisata PGRI Dawan Klungkung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014, sedangkan sampelnya adalah kelas X2 dan X3 yang berjumlah 80 orang. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan keterampilan proses sains antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (problem based learning) dengan kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung; 2) Terdapat perbedaan kimampuan pemecahan masalah antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (problem based learning) dengan kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung; 3) Terdapat perbedaan keterampilan proses sains antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan keterampilan proses sains. This study aimed at analyzing the difference of Problem Solving Ability and Science Process Skill between students who learned through Problem Based learning and those who learned through Direct Instruction. Because of those reasons the researcher conducted an experimental research with non equivalent, pretest-posttes, control group design The Population of this study was the ten grade students of SMA Pariwisata PGRI Dawan Klungkung in Academic Year 2013/2014 while the sample were X2 and X3 with the total number 80 students. The result of this study showed that (1) there was a difference on the problem solving ability and science process skill between students who learned through Problem Based Learning and those who learned through Direct Instruction. (2) there was a difference on Problem solving ability between students who learned through Problem Based Learning and those who learned through Direct Instruction. (3) there was a difference on the science process skill between students who learned through Problem Based Learning and those who learned through Direct Instruction. keyword : Problem Based Learning model, the Ability of problem solving and sciences skill.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran heuristik vee terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika dan sikap ilmiah siswa. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 68 orang kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Semarapura tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu mempergunakan posttest only control group design. Data pemahaman konsep dikumpulkan dengan instrument tes objektif dan sikap ilmiah dikumpulkan dengan instrument angket. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut: 1) terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep fisika dan sikap ilmiah siswa antara yang mengikuti model pembelajaran heuristik vee dengan pembelajaran langsung (F=19,673; p˂0,05), 2) terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep fisika antara yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran heuristik vee dengan siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran langsung ditunjukkan nilai (F = 8,520; p˂0,05), dan 3) terdapat perbedaan sikap ilmiah antara yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran heuristik vee dengan siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran langsung, ditunjukkan dengan nilai (F = 28,539; p˂0,05).Kata Kunci : heuristik vee, pemahaman konsep, sikap ilmiah This study aims to determine the effect of the vee heuristic learning model to the understanding of physics concepts and scientific attitude of students . The samples are 68 class XI Science SMAN 1 Semarapura academic year 2013/2014. This type of research is to use a quasi-experimental posttest only control group design. Data collected by the instrument of understanding the concept of objective test and the scientific attitudes were collected with a questionnaire instrument. Data were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). The results showed as follows: 1) there are differences in the understanding of physics concepts and scientific attitude among the students who follow the Vee heuristic model of learning with direct instruction (F = 19.673; p ˂ 0.05), 2) there are differences between understanding of physics concepts are studied with vee heuristic learning models with students who learn by direct instructional model demonstrated the value of (F = 8,520; p˂0,05), and 3) there is a difference between the scientific attitude studying with vee heuristic learning models with students who learn by direct instructional model , indicated by (F = 28,539; p˂0,05).keyword : heuristic vee , understanding of concepts , scientific attitude
