Abstract

This paper explained the effective and appropriate community participation model for the local characteristic which was expected to affected the embodiment of Surakarta city regional resilience as a city with short wheelbase and its plurality existence. Regional Autonomy implementation started in 1999 until 2012 as yet marginalized community’s rights as the implementer of the government’s policy. The qualitative data, regional autonomy concept, and regional autonomy showed community had an important role on autonomy implementation due to the people’s authority over state sovereignty.Keywords: Community’s Role, Local Wisdom, Regional Autonomy, and Regional Resilience.

Abstract

This paper explained paddy fields conversion at Tangerang Regency which enhancing every year. The quantitative data showed the paddy fields conversion was affected with economic structure change and the infrastructure facilities enhancement and also the high population growth. Real paddy fields area affected the total paddy production enhancement, however the width of paddy fields conversion to non-paddy fields had not yet proven affected the total paddy production decrease at Tangerang Regency if it was supported with agricultural technology and intensification. The Tangerang Regency community’s need on rice was yet lacking, Tangerang Regional Government has to bring rice from other region to fulfill this need.Keywords: Field Conversion, Paddy Field, Rice Production, and Food Resilience.

Abstract

This paper explained the dynamic of interreligious harmony establishment post 1999 conflict and its implication on below par regional resilience in Ambon. The qualitative data showed four obstacle factors of interreligious harmony, namely blasphemy, narrow primordial, religious deviation activity, and population dense which obstructed the interreligious establishment of pella-gandong. The Concept application of “agree in disagreement” and establishment of the four pillars were embodied in: (1) interreligious harmony legislation’s socialization; (2) community’s solidarity; (3) religious and government leaders’ exemplary, and (4) interreligious dialogue pillar. Abstract

This paper explained the residents’ conflicts in Jakarta. The qualitative and quantitative data showed the significant relations of conflict, security and regional resilience. Therefore to eliminated the conflicts, the taken strategy was creating employment, enhancing education level, enhancing the community life and enhancing the social control function role which embodied in security forces assertiveness in conflict resolution including intelligence forces’ early preventing.Keywords: Residents’ Conflict, Human Security, and Regional Resilience.

Abstract

This paper explained the optimization of institutional defense in Entikong. The qualitative data showed the defense establishment in regional border Entikong had not yet maximum due the lack of supervision on some remote areas, lack of order on freight traffic and the people who used traditional roads and also the lack of community involvement in regional resilience. There were also the lacks of basic facilities and infrastructures (transportation, electricity, clean water, and telecommunication), Indonesian people at border region economic dependency on Malaysia, the lack human resources quality and non-military defense software.Keywords: Defense Etablishment, Human Security, and Regional Resilience.

Abstract

This study aimed to determined the extent of the development of tourism in Yogyakarta Special Region in retention to social-cultural resilience. And this was a descriptive study presented by using observation and questionnaires to found data and primary literature for secondary data. Furthermore, re search results illustrated that the development of Yogyakarta province would work well because the image of the region and the support facilities and infrastructure. On the other hand turned in its development results obtained proved less satisfactory still seen a serious lack in the maintenance of an object the absence of guarantee that the maximum safety for the tourists, a lot of changes in peoples life as multidimensional crisis, which impacted on the image of tourism Yogyakarta Special Region, which in turn affected the social-cultural resilience.Keywords: Tourism, Social Cultural Resilience.
