Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) to know the condition of biology learning material on SMA Islam 1 Surakarta; 2) to know the procedure of developing the learning materialsfor Biology based on STESfor the students of SMA Islam 1 Surakarta;3) to know the effectiveness of the learning materials based on STESto improve the student’s critical thinking skills of SMA Islam 1 Surakarta. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method, which referred to the model claim by Borg & Gall, and which was modified into nine phases, namely: 1) research and information collecting; 2) planning; 3) development preliminary form of product; 4) preliminary field testing; 5) main product revision; 6) main field testing; 7) operational product revision; 8) operational field testing; and 9) final product revision. The respondents of learning materials development included field testing respondents consisting 2 validators, limited-scale main field testing respondents consisting 10 students, and operational field testing respondents consisting of 23 students. The data of research were gathered through questionnaire, observation, in-depth interview, and test. They were analyzed by using the descriptive qualitative method. Meanwhile, the result of critical thinking skill was analyzed by using normalized N-gain and Paired Sample T test to investigate the effectiveness of the Biology’s learning materials based on STES to improve student’s critical thinking skills. The results of research are as follows: 1) Biology learning materials on SMA Islam 1 Surakarta has been used in learning process are less facility to improve critical thinking skills; 2) The development procedure began with first design, then continue with a media and material expert validation in order to show that learning material for Biology based on STES is appropriate for the trial;3) The results of the effectiveness of the developed Biology learning materials based on STES to improve crtitical thinking skills are indicated by the improvement of scores critical thinking skill that was analyzed by normalized N-Gain and Paired Sample T-Test, each result are 0,40 and 0,008. Based on the results of research a conclusion is drawn that Biology’s learning materials based on STES are effective to improve student’s critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) To determine the effect of differences in chemistry learning PBL models and models of SMT for high school student achievement in Grobogan. (2) To find out which is better student achievement with learning activity is high or low high school learning activities in Grobogan. (3) To understand the interaction model of learning by students' learning activities to the achievement of high school students studying chemistry in Grobogan. The research was conducted at several high schools in Grobogan including; SMA N 1Gabus, SMA N 1 Kradenan, SMA N 1 Wirosari. The model used in this research is experiment with 2X2 factorial design. The study design using experimental. The results showed that. (1) Differences Influence Model Model PBL with TPS on Learning Achievement in Chemistry. Results of Two-Way ANOVA analysis showed a significant difference in learning achievement chemical groups using PBL and group learning model TPS, with a value of F = 5.432, p <0.05 where student achievement in the subjects of Chemistry with PBL models better than the student who uses a model TPS. (2) Differences in Effects of High learning activities with learning activities Low toward achievement of learning chemistry. Results of Two-Way ANOVA analysis showed a significant difference in learning achievement Chemistry group of students with high learning activities and groups of students with low learning activity, with the value of F = 8.218, p <0.05 where learning achievement in the subjects of Chemistry students who have high learning activity is better than the students who have low learning activities . (3) Interaction Effect Model of learning and learning activities in relation to the achievement of learning chemistry. The result of the calculation of the Two-Way ANOVA analysis finds that there are interactions between the learning model with learning activities to learning achievement Chemistry with a value of F = 4.020, p <0.05 where the average value of learning achievement chemical group PBL models with high learning activity has the highest value of the interpretation of study with a mean of 84.41 while PBL model group with low learning activity have the lowest average value for 74.13.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the difference of effect between the PBL model and the cooperative learning model of the STAD type on the Biology learning outcome of the students of Senior Secondary Schools of Grobogan Regency; (2) the difference of effect between the high learning interest and the low learning interest on the  Biology learning outcome of the students of Senior Secondary Schools of Grobogan Regency; (3) and the interaction of effect between the learning models and the learning interests on the Biology learning outcome of the students of Senior Secondary Schools of Grobogan Regency. This research used the experimental research method with the factorial design of 2x2. It was conducted at Senior Secondary Schools of Grobogan Regency. The results of this research are as follows: (1) there was a significant difference of effect between the PBL model and the cooperative learning model of the STAD type on the Biology learning outcome of the students of Senior Secondary Schools of Grobogan Regency where the former had a better effect on the Biology learning outcome than the latter as indicated by the result of the two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) in which the F-value  was 4.669 and the p-value was smaller than 0.05; (2) there was a significant difference of effect between the high learning interest and the low learning interest on the Biology learning outcome of the students of Senior Secondary Schools of Grobogan Regency where the former had a better effect on the Biology learning outcome than the latter as indicated by the result of the twoway analysis of variance (ANOVA) in which the F-value  was 5.554 and the p-value was smaller than 0.05; and (3) there was an interaction of effect between the learning models and the learning interests on the Biology learning outcome of the students of Senior Secondary Schools of Grobogan Regency as indicated by the result of the two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) in which the F-value was 4.434, and the p-value was smaller than 0.05. The highest average score in Biology learning of the students with the PBL model and with the high leaning interest was 83.88, whereas the lowest score in Biology learning of the students with the PBL model and with the low learning interest was 74. 47

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out (1) the difference of effect between the NHT, TGT, and Directive learning (DL) models on the mathematics learning achievement. (2) the difference of learning achievement on mathematics between boys and. (3) the interaction of effect between learning model and gender on  mathematics learning achievement. This kind of research is a quantitative one which uses an experimental factorial design. The population of this research are all the 7th grade - 1st semester students of SMP 1 Sidoharjo, Sragen on the Academic Year Of 2015/2016. The sample is determined by taking 3 clsasses at random. The sampling technique uses the Cluster Random Sampling. The experimental group was treated by the NHT and TGT learning models. While the control group was subjected to the directive learning. For the teaching material is used the Algebraic design. The hypothesis testing uses the factorial design 3x2 with Two-Ways Analysis of Variance (Two Ways Anava) technique with different cells. Before, the trial test was conducted. Forth, for the balance testing was used the t-testing. For the reliability testing of the research instrument with internal consistency was used the Kuder Richardson (KR-20) formula, normality test used the lilliefors method, and the homogenity test used the Bartlet method. The result of the data analysis with significance level of 0.05 obtained: (1) FA = 3.641 and Ftable = 3.07, it mean FA > Ftable. The conclusion of HOA test was rejected and H1A was accepted, which means that there is a significant difference between the learning models to the mathematics achievement. (2) FB = 15.197 and Ftable = 3.92, it obtained FB > Ftable. HOB test was rejected and H1B was accepted. It means that there is a significant difference between boys and girls to the mathematics achievement. (3) FAB = 4.353, Ftable = 3.07, obtained FAB > Ftable. HOAB was rejected and H1AB was accepted, it means that there is a significant interaction of effect between gender and learning models to the mathematics achievement at the subject of Algebraic design.

Abstract

he objective of research was to find out: (1) how the application of ASSURE learning design model can improve mathematic learning motivation and achievement in the 4????ℎ grades of SD Negeri 01 Tlobo of Jatiyoso Sub District of Karanganyar Regency, (2) why the application of ASSURE learning design model can improve mathematic learning motivation and achievement in the 4????ℎ grades of SD Negeri 01 Tlobo of Jatiyoso Sub District of Karanganyar Regency, (3) how the effectiveness of ASSURE  learning design model can improve mathematic learning motivation and achievement in the 4????ℎ grades of SD Negeri 01 Tlobo of Jatiyoso Sub District of Karanganyar Regency. This study was a classroom action research conducted in 3 cycles. Each of cycle consisted 0f 4 stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of research was the 4????ℎ grades of SD Negeri 01 Tlobo consisted of 23 students. Techniques of collecting data used were learning achievement test, motivation, observation, interview, and experiment. Technique of analizing data used was an interactive model of analysis encompassing: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of classroom action research were as follows: (1) the application of ASSURE learning design model formulated learning objective, explained the material and the way of working on the exercises not in a hurry, used discovery and expository method, used laptop, LCD and CD learning media, fold paper, and color marker, and the implementation of mathematic learning procedure appropriately in Elementary school could improve motivation by 91,30% and learning achievement by 95,65%, (2) the advantage of ASSURE learning design model application was that teh students were very interested in learning using laptop, LCD and CD learning media, fold paper, and color marker. The students were interested in and challenged in assigning task in tke learning procedure of undertanding concept. Its disadvantages were that the students demonstrated fold paper shyly in the fraction arithmatic operation, the students took more time to work on exercise, and the students had not been fluent in simplifying the fraction, (3) considering the result of calculation, it could be found: ???????????????? = 2,55, while ???????????????????????? = 2,020, so that ???????????????? > ????????????????????????; therefore: the aplication of ASSURE learning designed model was used effectively for improving the mathematic learning motivation and achievement in the 4????ℎ grades of SD Negeri 01 Tlobo of Jatiyoso Sub District of Karanganyar Regency

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan pengaruh pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Group Investigation terhadap prestasi belajar IPA, (2) perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar IPA, (3) interaksi pengaruh antara model pembelajaran dan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa terhadap prestasi belajar IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di SDN dabin Diponegoro Ngringo Jaten Karanganyar tahun pelajaran 2013/ 2014. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah SDN 04 Ngringo sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan SDN 07 Ngringo sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah tes prestasi belajar IPA dan angket kecerdasan interpersonal. Ujicoba instrumen tes meliputi validitas isi, tingkat kesukaran, dan reliabilitas. Ujicoba intrumen angket meliputi validitas isi dan reliabilitas. Uji prasyarat meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji kesetaraan. Uji hipotesis dengan uji anava dua jalan dengan sel tak sama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Group Investigation dalam menghasilkan prestasi belajar IPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Fa=15.68 dengan Ftabel=7.31, keputusan uji H0A ditolak. (2) tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal tinggi dan kecerdasan interpersonal rendah dalam menghasilkan prestasi belajar IPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Fb=0.59 dengan Ftabel=7.31, keputusan uji H0B diterima. (3) tidak terdapat interaksi pengaruh antara model pem-belajaran dan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa terhadap prestasi belajar IPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Fc=0.036 dengan Ftabel=7.31, keputusan uji H0AB diterima.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out:how the needs of learning media for social studies class V in SD Muhammadiyah ProgramUnggulan Colomadu Karanganyar, How is the development of multimedia interactive learning in social studies class V in SD Muhammadiyah ProgramUnggulanColomadu Karanganyar, Effective development of multimedia interactive teaching in subjects IPS class V in SD Muhammadiyah ProgramUnggulanColomadu Karanganyar. The method used method of Research and Development (research and development), but more focused on process development using ADDIE. Stages of development in this study begins with (1) analyzing the needs needed in developing the Product, (2) designing prototypical product, (3) developing the product, (4) implementing the product in the field, and (5) evaluating product’s weaknesses. In addition, this study used totally 56 samples. 28 samples in experimental group (five graders in A class) and 28 samples in control group (five graders in B class). Furthermore, in collecting the data, the researcher used questionnaire and achievement test as the instruments and it was analyzed using Descriptive statistic methods and t-test. The results showed that the media developed has met the worthy and qualified to be used as a learning media. It is seen from the results of expert validation of material with an average of 4.4 and has very good category. Validation of experts media with an average of 4.91 is very good category. According to the students, this multimedia is very good with an average of 4, 60. In the test the learning effectiveness, it is known to the average point obtained by the experimental class is 88.39.  The average point was higher than the control class 73.86.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui (1) Perbedaan pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran internet dan media konvensional terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) Pada Mata Pelajaran Kewirausahaan di SMK Pengudhi Luhur Karangrayung Grobogan; (2) Perbedaan pengaruh antara motivasi belajar siswa tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ)  Pada Mata Pelajaran Kewirausahaan di SMK Pengudhi Luhur Karangrayung Grobogan; (3) Interaksi pengaruh antara penggunaan media pembelajaran dan motivasi terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI Teknik Komputer daan Jaringan (TKJ) Pada Mata Pelajaran Kewirausahaan di SMK Pengudhi Luhur Karangrayung Grobogan. Menurut jenisnya, model penelitian ini termasuk penelitian eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan 3 cara yaitu dengan Angket dan Tes Hasil Belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan 3 cara yaitu dengan cara Uji Kesamaan rata-rata (Uji tahap Awal), Uji Normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan  hasil belajar Kewirausahaan pada kelompok dengan media pembelajaran internet dan media pembelajaran konvensional.hasilbelajar Kewirausahaan pada kelompok dengan media pembelajaran internet lebih baik dibandingkan dengan media pembelajaran konvensional. (2) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan  hasil belajar Kewirausahaan pada kelompok siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar tinggi dan siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar rendah. Siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar tinggi mempunyai  hasil belajar Kewirausahaan yang lebih baik dari pada siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar rendah. (3) Terdapat interaksi pengaruh  media pembelajaran dan  motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar Kewirausahaan.Prestasi belajar Kewirausahaan pada kelompok media pembelajaran internet pada siswa dengan motivasi belajar tinggi mempunyai nilai tertinggi, sedangkan nilai terendah terjadi pada kelompok media pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa dengan motivasi belajar rendah.
