Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran collaborative learning berbasis kearifan lokal yang layak untuk meningkatkan karakter nasionalisme dan kreatif siswa dan (2) mengetahui keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran collaborative learning berbasis kearifan lokal untuk meningkatkan karakter nasionalisme dan kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan mengacu pendapat BorgGall, tetapi desain pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran ini hanya meliputi 9 langkah, yaitu (1) penelitian pendahuluan dan pengumpulan informasi, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan draft produk, (4) uji coba terbatas, (5) merevisi hasil uji coba terbatas, (6) uji coba lapangan, (7) penyempurnaan produk hasil uji coba lapangan, (8) uji coba lapangan operasional, dan (9) penyempurnaan produk akhir. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Piyungan Bantul. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran ini layak digunakan menurut ahli materi dan ahli pembelajaran dengan kategori sangat valid. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui, bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap karakter nasionalisme dan kreatif antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan perangkat pembelajaran collaborative learning berbasis kearifan lokal dan yang tidak menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran hasil pengembangan. Kata Kunci: perangkat pembelajaran collaborative learning, nasionalisme, kreatif Developing Collaborative Learning Kits Based on Local Wisdom to Improve Nationalism and Creative Character AbstractThis study aims to (1) produce a collaborative learning kit based on local wisdom that is feasible to improve nationalism and creative character and (2) find out the effectiveness of the collaborative learning kit based on local wisdom to improve nationalism and creative character. This study is a research and development refering to the opinion of Borg Gall, but the design of learning kits consists of only nine steps, including (1) research and information collection, (2) planning, (3) developing preliminary form of draft product, (4) preliminary field testing, (5) main product revision, (6) main field testing, (7) operational product testing, (8) operational field testing, and (9) final product revision. Subjects were fourth grade students Piyungan Bantul. The results show that the learning kit is effective to improve nationalism and creative character of students according to the material expert and learning expert with very valid assessment category. Based on the result showed that there are significant differences in nationalism and creative character of students who take the study with collaborative learning kits based on local wisdom with those who do not use learning kits.Keywords: collaborative learning kits, nationalism, creative

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk meningkatkan soft skills pada pembelajaran tematik integratif kompetensi IPA melalui metode inquiry pada kompetensi IPA di kelas Va SD Bakalan Bantul dan mendeskripsikan  peningkatan soft skills siswa dengan pembelajaran tematik integratif melalui  metode inquiry. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, yang terdiri atas tiga  siklus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Bakalan Bantul pada bulan November sampai dengan Desember 2014. Objek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas Va yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes tulis, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik integratif dengan metode inquiry dapat meningkatkan soft skills siswa pada kompetensi IPAKata Kunci: soft skills, tematik integratif, inquiry  Improving soft skills in integrated thematic science learning competence through inquiry method in class V SDAbstractThis study aims to increase soft skills of students in thematic integrative learning with inquiry methods and to describe  the implementation  an integrated thematic learning with inquiry methods on science competence. The objects were all students of class Va consisting of 28 students. The data were collected using observation, paper and pencil tests, interviews, documentation, and journals. Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran, problema guru dalam melaksanakan penilaian pembelajaran, dan langkah guru dalam menyiasati problema pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013 di SD Negeri Ungaran dan SD Negeri Serayu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus.Subjek penelitian enam guru kelas IV yaitu tiga guru SD Negeri Ungaran dan tiga guru SD Negeri Serayu. Instrumen utama penelitian ini adalah human instrument. Instrumen pendukung menggunakan, pedoman wawancara, alat rekam, dan pedoman observasi. Teknik analsis data menggunakan analisis interaktif Miles Huberment (pengumpulan data, reduksi, display, dan verifikasi/membuat kesimpulan). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013 belum sesuai standar. Enam guru yang menjadi informan, hanya satu guru yang berhasil melaksanakan sesuai standar yakni GS3,2) Problematika pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013 meliputi; waktu, pemahaman guru, produktivitas guru, kepedulian guru dan mindset guru, 3) Bentuk siasat guru dalam mengatasi problematika yaitu siasat kolektif dan individual.Kata Kunci: pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran, dan Kurikulum 2013 Problems on the learning assessment of Curriculum 2013 AbstractThis study aimed to investigate the implementation of learning assessment of Curriculum 2013, the problems teachers in conducting learning assessments of Curriculum 2013, and teachers step in negotiating the problems encountered in the implementation of Curriculum 2013learning assessment in primary schools Serayu and Ungaran. This was a qualitative research with a case study. The subjects of the research were six teachers of grade IV, Three of Ungaran and Three of Serayu Elementary Schools. The main instrument was the human instrument. While supporting instruments used interview guid, tape recorder, and observation sheet. The data were analysed using interactive analysis Miles Huberment (data collection, reduction, display, and verification/conclude). These results indicate that 1) the implementation of learning assessment of Curriculum 2013 has not met standards. However, of the six teachers who became the subject of study, only one teacher managed to carry out met standards that GS3, 2) the problems of learning assessment of Curriculum 2013include; time, teachers’understanding, teachers’ productivity, teachers’ awareness and teachers’mindset, 3) the teachers strategy in addressing the problemis the teacher collective and individual strategy.Keywords: assessment of learning and Curriculum 2013

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerapan model collaborative learning terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA SD Negeri se-Gugus I Caturtunggal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model collaborative learning berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar  dan motivasi siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA daripada menggunakan model cooperative script. Hasil analisis uji beda hasil belajar siswa antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok eksperimen 1 diperoleh perbedaan rata-rata sebesar 4,51. Hasil analisis uji beda motivasi belajar siswa antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok eksperimen diperoleh perbedaan rata-rata sebesar 4,76. Hasil analisis uji beda hasil belajar siswa antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok eksperimen 2 diperoleh perbedaan rata-rata sebesar 1,19. Hasil analisis uji beda motivasi belajar siswa antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok eksperimen 2 diperoleh perbedaan rata-rata sebesar 2,68. Hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model collaborative learning dapat digunakan siswa pada pembelajaran IPA SD untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: collaborative learning, motivasi, dan hasil belajar The effects of collaborative learning model on increasing student’s motivation and achievement of the fourth grade of elementary schoolAbstractThis research aimed to describe the effects of collaborative learning model to increase motivation and achievement of the fourth grade students of Elementary School se-Gugus I Caturtunggal. This research was a quasi-experimental study using the pretest-posttest control design. The results of the research show that the model of collaborative learning has more positive and significant effects on the increasing of student’s motivation and achievement on  science subjects than using a cooperative script model. The analysis results show a different increasing of student’s motivation and achievement between the control group and the experimental group 1, with the difference in average of 4.5. The results of the analysis of student’s learning motivation difference test between the control group and experimental group 1 with the average difference of 4.76. The analysis results show a different increasing of student’s motivation and achievement between the control group and the experimental group 2 with the difference in average of 1.19. The results of the analysis of student’s learning motivation difference test bet ween the control group and experimental group 1 with the average difference of 2.68. From the results of the research it can be concluded that the application of the model of collaborative learning can be used in the sciece learning process for elementary schools to enhance students motivation and achievement.Keywords: collaborative learning, learning motivation, and learning achievement

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh media video terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPA, (2) pengaruh media video terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPA, (3) pengaruh media video terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar kognitif peserts didik pada pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment. .Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V se gugus 04 Palangka Raya. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala motivasi dan tes. Pengujian hipotesis dengan teknik MANOVA. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif pada pembelajaran IPA yang menggunakan media video dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran IPA yang menggunakan media gambar terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar kognitif pembelajaran IPA.Kata kunci: media video, motivasi belajar, hasil belajar kognitif. The effect of video media on learning motivation and learning outcomes in natural science subject of the fifth grade students of elementary schoolsAbstractThis research aims to describe: (1) the effects of the video media on students’ learning motivation related to the natural science subject; (2) the effects of the video media on students’ cognitive learning outcomes related to the natural science subject; (3) the effects of the video media on students’ learning motivation and cognitive learning outcomes related to the natural science subject. This research is a quasi experiment. The population was the students of Fifth Grade Students of Elementary Schools Location 04 Palangka Raya. The sample was established using the cluster random sampling technique. The data collection used a motivation scale and test. The hypotesis testing used the MANOVA. The result of the research shows that there to know the difference of learning motivation and cognitive learning result in natural science subject of the fifth grade students of elementary schools location 04 Palangka Raya between before and after using video media.Keywords: video media, learning motivation, cognitive learning result.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan prestasi belajar pada ranah pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan melalui metode inquiry pada pembelajaran tematik integratif siswa kelas IV SD Kasongan Bantul. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Kasongan Bantul sebanyak 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, dan observasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes uraian, pilihan ganda, dan rating scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode inquiry pada pembelajaran tematik integratif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan prestasi belajar dalam ranah pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, prestasi belajar, metode inquiry. Improving critical thinking and learning achievementthrough inquiry method on grade IV elementary schoolAbstract This study aims to improve the ability of critical thinking and learning achievement in terms of knowledge, attitudes, and skills through inquiry method on integrated thematic learning of the fourth grade students of Elementary School Kasongan Bantul. This research was classroom action research (CAR) which was implemented in three cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings. The subjects were 20 grade IV students of Elementary School Kasongan Bantul. Data collection techniques used were tests, and observations. The instruments used were an essay test, multiple choice test, and rating scale. The results show that the application of the inquiry method on thematic integrative learning can improve critical thinking skills and learning achievement in terms of knowledge, attitudes, and skills.Keywords: critical thinking, learning achievement, inquiry method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh media video terhadap keterampilan menulis kembali isi cerita siswa kelas V SD pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia; (2) pengaruh media gambar terhadap keterampilan menulis kembali isi cerita siswa kelas V SD pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia; dan (3) perbedaan pengaruh media video dan gambar terhadap keterampilan menulis kembali isi cerita kelas V SD pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu quasi eksperimen, sedangkan desainnya randomized control-group pretestt-posttestt. Populasi penelitian seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Se-gugus V Kasihan-Bantul, pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara random sampling. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari variabel bebas dan variabel terikat. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa pelaksanan tes unjuk kerja. Instrumen penilaian menulis diukur dengan uji validitas isi dan uji reliabilitas inter-rater. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (a) media video berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis dengan taraf signifikan 0,000 0,05; (b) media gambar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis dengan taraf signifikan 0,022 0,05; dan (c) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh media video dan gambar yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis dengan taraf signifikan 0,043 0,05.Kata Kunci: media video, media gambar, keterampilan menulis kembali isi cerita The effectiveness of implementing video and picture media ofwriting skills in fifth grade students of Elementary School Abstract The purpose of this study are to find out (1) the effect of video on writing skills in fifth grade students of Elementary School in Indonesian learning, (2) the of picture series on writing skills in fifth grade students of Elementary School in Indonesian learning, (3) the differences of  video and picture series on writing skills in fifth grade students of Elementary School in Indonesian learning. This study used quasi experimental, and the design used randomized control-group pretestt-posttestt. The participants of this study were the whole students of the fifth grade of 5 Clusters Kasihan-Bantul Sub-District. The research variables consisted of independent variable and dependent variable. The data collection technique was conducted by test performance. Writing assessment instruments measured by content validity and inter-rater reliability tests. The results showed that (1) video media gives a positive and significant on writing skills in fifth grade students of Elementary School with sig 0,000 0,05 (2) picture media gives a positive and significanton writing skills in fifth grade students of Elementary School with sig 0,022 0,05 (3) There is significan different effect between video and picture series on on writing skills in fifth grade students of Elementary School with sig 0,043 0,05.Keywords: videos, picture series, writing skills to rewrite a story

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri I Prapaglor, Pituruh, Purworejo melalui pembelajaran tematik integratif dengan menerapkan pendekatan open ended. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah diterapkan pendekatan open endedkreativitas peserta didik mengalami peningkatan. Peserta didik yang telah mencapai kriteria kreatif atau sangat kreatif sebanyak 12 anak (75%). Hasil tes kreativitas peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II dan dari siklus II ke siklus III. Hasil tes kreativitas peserta didik yang mencapai kategori kreatif dan sangat kreatif pada siklus I sebesar 0%, siklus II 31,25%, dan siklus III 75%.Kata Kunci: kreativitas, tematik integratif, pendekatan open ended Enhancing creativity class IV SD tematik learning through integrative approach to open-endedAbstrackThis research aims at revealing the creativity of the fourth grade students of Prapaglor 1 State Elementary School, Pituruh, Purworejo throughthematic integrative teaching with the open ended approach. This research is a classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The result of the research shows that there is an improvement on the students after the open ended approach was implemented in the teaching and learning process. There are 12 students having high creativity (75%). There is enhancement on the students’ creativity from Cycle I to Cycle II and from Cycle II to Cycle III. The result of the creativity test of the students having high creativity (very creative) in Cycle I is 0%, Cycle II was 31.25%, and Cycle III is 75%.Keywords: creativity, thematic integrative, open ended approach

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui, pengaruh Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) tematik dan pembelajaran tematik yang tidak menggunakan SSP tematik terhadap peningkatan karakter kejujuran dan disiplin peserta didik pada tema peristiwa alam semester genap kelas I SDN di Kecamatan Ujung kota Parepare tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian eksperimen semu dengan nonequivalent groups pretest-posttest design ini mengandung satu variabel bebas dan dua variabel terikat. Variabel bebas adalah Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) tematik sedangkan variabel terikat adalah karakter kejujuran dan disiplin. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas I SDN di Kecamatan Ujung Kota Parepare. Sampel dipilih dengan tekhnik purposive sampling, sehingga didapat tiga kelas sebagai sampel penelitian. Kelompok eksperimen 1 dan kelompok eksperimen 2 diberi perlakuan menggunakan SSP tematik, dan kelompok kontrol diberi perlakuan menggunakan pembelajaran tematik yang tidak menggunakan SSP tematik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik angket dan teknik observasi. Teknik angket digunakan untuk mengetahui nilai karakter kejujuran dan disiplin peserta didik. Teknik observasi digunakan untuk mengungkap perilaku karakter kejujuran dan disiplin peserta didik. Teknik analisis data digunakan adalah Analisys of Variance (ANOVA) dengan taraf signifikansi 0.05. Hasil penelitian ini adalah SSP tematik secara signifkan berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan karakter kejujuran peserta didik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tematik yang tidak menggunakan SSP tematik diperoleh p α yaitu p = 0,000 α = 0,05 dengan F = 27,890; dan karakter disiplin peserta didik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tematik diperoleh p α yaitu p = 0,000 α = 0,05 dengan F= 9,294.Kata kunci: Subject Specific Pedagogy tematik, kejujuran, disiplinThe effect of SSP thematic on the increase of characters honesty and discipline of grade 1 elementary school students AbstractThe objective of this study was to determine the different effect between Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) thematic and those are not using SSP thematic on students’ characters honesty and discipline, for phenomenon nature theme of grade I of second semester in elementary school students in the academic year of 2013/2014.This is a quasi experimental research with pretest and posttest nonequivalent control group design consisting of one independent variable and two dependent variables. The population comprised year X grade 1 elementary school student in Parepare City Sub-district Ujung. A sample of three classes was established using purposive sampling technique. The first experimental class and second experimental class was taught by using SSP thematic, and the control class was taught using the those are not using SSP thematic. The data were collected through observation and questionnaire. The questionnaire technique was the used to know the student’s characters honesty and discipline value. The observation technique was used to express student of characters honesty and discipline behavior. The data were analyzed of variance (ANOVA) test for the significance level of 0.05.The result of this study is SSP thematic significantly positive effects on student’s increase of characters honesty compared to those are not using SSP thematic the results showed p α that is p = 0,000 α = 0.05 with F = 27.890; and SSP thematic significantly positive effects on students increase of characters discipline compared to those are not using SSP thematic the results showed p α that is p = 0,000 α = 0.05 with F = 9.294. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan perangkat penilaian yang layak untuk pembelajaran tematik-integratif kelas V SD, (2) mengetahui kepraktisan perangkat penilaian yang dikembangkan, dan (3) mengetahui keefektifan perangkat penilaian di kelas V SD pada subtema Komponen Ekosistem. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu pada model pengembangan 4-D dari Thiagarajan, Semmel, Semmel yang telah dimodifikasi menjadi tiga prosedur pengembangan, yaitu: (1) define, (2) design, dan (3) develop. Subjek uji coba pengembangan terdiri dari SDN Godean 1, SDN Cebongan 1, dan SDN Purwomartani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat penilaian hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran tematik-integratif di kelas V SD pada subtema Komponen Ekosistem layak digunakan, praktis, dan efektif. Selain itu produk juga dapat mengukur ketuntasan prestasi belajar peserta didik.Kata Kunci: perangkat penilaian; pembelajaran tematik-integratif; sekolah dasar Developing assessment kits of learning outcomes  on thematic integrative learning in class V SDAbstractThis study aims to: (1) produce a feasible assessment kits for thematic integrative learning in class V SD, (2) determine the practicality of assessment kits developed, and (3) determine the effectiveness of assessment kits in class V SD in subtheme Ecosystem Components. The trial development subject consists of SDN Godean 1, SDN Cebongan 1, and SDN Purwomartani. The results showed that the assessment kits of learning outcomes in thematic-integrative learning in class V SD in subtema Ecosystem Components fit for use, practical, and effective. In addition, the product can also measure mastery learning achievements of learners.Keywords: assessment kits, thematic-integrative learning.
