Abstract

This research aimed is to investigate the effects of social support, optimism and gender on constructive social problem solving and dysfunctional social problem solving, furthermore to identify is there any singular social problem solving ability between two sexes, male and female. Research took place in several High Schools in Bandar Lampung with 861 participants are involved, 391 male and 470 female. Quantitative method involved three measurement scales. Besides that this research involved gender variable. Multiple correlation analysis, dummy regression and covariance analysis were being used as data analysis technique with SPSS 13.00 program. The results indicated that there is a significant influence between social support and optimism, but gender no effect influence on social problem solving. Effective contribution that given by social support and optimism on dysfunctional social problem solving is 18.8% (R square= 0.188). Effective contribution that given by social support and optimism on constructive social problem solving is 12,2% (R square= 0.122). Each variables gives effective contribution, they are: social support and optimism toward dysfunctional social problem solving are 12.42% and 6.38%. Furthermore social support and optimism on constructive social problem solving are 10.38% and 1.82%. Keywords: optimism and gender, social problem solving, social support

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze: (1) design lesson planning, (2) the learning process, (3) evaluation system, and (4) increase comprehension of the worship ghairu maghdah consept by applying the model of experiential learning. The method used is the review of the follow- through 3 cycles. Techniques of data collection was done by testing and observation. Quantitative data were analyzed deductively. The research concludes (1) The process of learning is done for students the increase acttivity learning concept of worship ghairu maghdah with experiential learning models. Cycle PGSD class I (55 %), second cycle (75 %) and third cycle (87.5%). BK cycle class I (57.5 %), second cycle (75 %) and third cycle (90 %). (2) Comprehension of the concept of worship ghairu maghdah on students PGSD class with an average value, the first cycle (65), second cycle (75), and the third cycle (85). LB class with an average value, the first cycle (67), second cycle (75) and third cycle (87).Keywords: model experiential learning, processes and comprehension, worship ghairu maghdah

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to determine the relationship between I) standard process knowledge with pedagogic competence, 2) work motivation with pedagogic competence, 3) teacher's innovation in learning with pedagogic knowledge 4) standard process knowledge, work motivation and teacher's inovation in learning with teacher's pedagogic competence in elementary school in the district of eastern Tanjung Karang Bandar Lampung study year 2011/2012. Research methods used correlational research. The population is all elementary school teachers in the District of Eastern Tanjung Karang Bandar Lampung. Sample as many as 54 people were assigned proportional random sampling. Instrument used to collect data is data analysis technique simple correlation.The results of the analysis of the study are : (1) there is a close, positive and significant relationship between the standard process knowledge with pedagogical competence of 0.576, (2) there is a relationship between motivation to work with pedagogical competencies of 0.607, (3) there is a relationship between innovation competence of teachers in the learning with pedagogic competence of 0.447, (4) there is a relationship between standard process knowledge, work motivation and innovation of teachers in learning together with the pedagogic competence of 0.741.Keywords: pedagogical competence, standard process knowledge, teacher's innovation, work motivation
