Abstract

This study aims to produce an e-module assisted by a professional flip PDF application based on guided inquiry on Newton's law material that is valid for students to use. The subject used is in class X at Gajah Mada 3 Palembang High School in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research is only limited to the development stage due to time constraints and also the purpose of this research is only limited to developing and producing e-modules that are valid and practical. After conducting the research, the overall results were obtained, namely for validity based on material aspects, an average value of 88.8% was obtained in the "valid" category, and for the media aspect it was 90.85% "very valid". At the one-to-one trial stage, the average practicality score was 85.8% and the average test result was 81.7. At the small group trial stage, the average practicality value was 85.8% and the average test result was 80.Keywords:  E-module, Guided inquiry model, Professional flip PDFDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpf.v11.n1.202301

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out students' responses to the New Learning Environmental program using the Canva application on Newton's law material. Based on the results of observations and interviews conducted in SMP Negeri 37 Semarang, it assumes a new learning environment or learning innovation to improve students' skills and students' understanding of Newton's law material. This study used a descriptive qualitative method in conducting observations and interviews. Class VII C was used as a sample. The results of the new learning environment were several answers in the training lessons on using the Canva application, which was helpful in the tasks in the form of products about Newton's law (infographics, mind mapping, posters, and videos) of material. During the learning, the students are very enthusiastic, free to be creative, and even free to change seats while learning. Based on this, it can be concluded that the New Learning Environment supported by the Canva application of Newton's law material received a positive responses from the students during the learning process. Keywords: Students Responses, New Learning Environmental, Canva Application, Newton Law’sDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpf.v11.n1.202302

Abstract

Schools must have the 4C abilities, notably creative thinking, to keep up with the advancement of science and technology in the 21st century's educational institutions. The ability to think creatively strives to involve activities, analyze, synthesize, generate conjectures, create something new, and utilize the knowledge acquired in practical ways. Some studies show that students' creative thinking skills in momentum and impulse materials are not optimal. One of the factors that cause students' low creative thinking skills is the learning process. This study aims to provide an overview of students' creative aptitudes on momentum and impulse topics. This study used a mixed method with an embedded experimental design. At SMA 1 Menggala in Lampung, this study was carried out. 28 students of class X MIPA 2 involved in the study were taken as samples with a saturated sampling technique. For this study, the students participated in tests and interviews. Of the four essay questions on momentum and impulse that made up the creative thinking ability exam each validity value (0.686) and reliability (0.610) had a high category. A creative mind is characterized by fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Problem-based learning models can help students' creative thinking skills, according to the findings of research on the subject. According to the results of the investigation, most students have a high level of creativity on the indicator of fluency. The problem-based learning model is successful in enhancing the ability to think creatively and is expected to be applied in further research on different topics. Keywords: Creative Thinking Ability, Problem-Based Learning, Impulse and MomentumDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpf.v11.n1.202304

Abstract

This study aims to develop electronic handout media with the Double Loop Problem Solving (DLPS) model on physical materials, namely energy source materials for tenth-grade high school students to determine the feasibility and attractiveness of the electronic handout being developed. This electronic handout was created using Smart Apps Creator which is a mobile application for Android and iOS without a programming code and the form is html.5 and exe. This study uses the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research was conducted in two Bandar Lampung tenth-grade schools and was validated by material and media experts. This study aims to get a validation score of 83% in the "very decent" category from material experts and 79% in the "very decent" category from media experts. While the results of development trials obtained a score of 78% in the "very interesting" category. Educator responses reached 89% in the "very interesting" category. The conclusion of this study is that the electronic handouts developed are very practical and very interesting to be used as learning media. Keywords: Double Loop Problem Solving (DLPS), Electronic Handouts, Smart Apps Creator (SAC), Learning MediaDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpf.v11.n1.202303
