Abstract

Heni Putri Kaili Restaurant is located at Kaombona Street/ Kampung Nelayan No. 09 Talise, East Palu Sub-district, Palu City. Heni Putri Kaili restaurant has been established since 6 years ago, precisely on February 20th 2010. The owner of the restaurant is Mrs. Haeni R. Kara , S.Pd. The research intends to find out the competitive level faced by Heni Putri Kaili Restaurant among the restaurant industries in Palu City and to comprehend the alternative strategy that can be used by Heni Putri Kaili Restaurant. Data analysis methods used are Porter?s Five Forces analysis and the SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) analysis. Based on Porter?s Five Forces analysis, the study concludes that Heni Putri Kaili restaurant experiences a great rivalry among the restaurant industries in Palu City, which includes the rivalry beetween the competitors from the similiar industry, the suplier?s supplying capacity, and the threat of substitutes products. The result of SWOT metric diagram and IE table suggests that Heni Putri Kaili Restaurant should focus on the diversifications strategy while improving the service and the strategy to increase the promotion of the main product together with other products that are still unfamiliar by the consumers/markets.

Abstract

The study intends to determine simultaneous and partial influence of service quality (X) consisting of physical evidence (X1), reliability (X2), responsiveness (X3), assurance (X4), and empathy (X5) on patient satisfaction (Y) in the General Hospital of Banggai Islands, where the study is located. The type of research is descriptive. Sources of data is primary data retrieved from questionnaires and secondary data obtained from documents of the Regional General Hospital Banggai Islands. The sample consists of 72 respondents. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Based on the results, it is shown that the quality of service (X), consisting of physical evidence (X1), reliability (X2), responsiveness (X3), assurance (X4), and empathy (X5) simultaneously have significant influence on patient satisfaction (Y) of 69.60% while the remaining 30.40% is influenced by other causes. Partial test shows that there are three independent variables: physical evidence (X1), reliability (X2) and assurance (X4) that have non-significant influence to the patients? satisfaction at the General Hospital of Banggai Islands.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of capital structure and the size of the company on the company values in manufacturing companies of food and beverage industry sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The sample in this study consists of 11 companies that selected by purposive sampling technique. Method of data analysis is multiple linear regression using SPSS version 16.0. The results show that both independent variables simultaneously have positive and significant influence on value of the company with sig-F of 0.093 ? ? 0.10 at confidence level of 90%. The t-test shows that the capital structure significantly has negative influence on the value of the company with sig-t of X1 = 0.032 ? ? of 0.10 and beta value of -0882. While the company size has non-significant influence on the value of the company with sig-t X2 = 0.787 ? ? of 0.10 with R2 values of 0.052 or 5.2%. Both independent variables studied simultaneously influence the dependent variable (enterprise value), while the remaining 94.8% is influenced by other variables that are not studied.

Abstract

The study determines some factors considered by the students of the Economic Faculties University Tadulako using social media Instagram as a means of buying & selling online. The sampling technique is accidental side, with 105 samples taken. Based on the analysis factors using 21 indicators, the study finds 3 factors that are considered by students in using social media Instagram as a means of buying and selling online. These factors are: 1) Online Marketing consists of F3 (Ease in business), F12 (Facilitate the search for products), F14 (There are lots of goods imported or local), F15 (to hunt many gifts), F17 (can develop the business). 2) lifestyle, includes: F2 (following the trend of lifestyle), F6 (Instagram is already a lot of users), F10 (the event to seek friendship), F11 (as the entertainment media), F21 (the advice of friends); and 3) Sales Promotion factors such as: F1 (Promotion convincing), F16 (As an advertising medium offers products or services), F19 (price offered various kinds), F20 (For media information).

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of product quality on customer satisfaction using Tupperware products in Palu City. The type of research used is quantitative (showing the relationship between variables). The population of this study is that the general public who have used Tupperware products are not known with certainty. Sampling technique to determine the sample that will be used in this study using the technique of non probability sampling, the purposive sampling with the number of respondents 100 people. Data collection using questionnaire. The analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research showed that (1) There is influence of product quality significantly to customer satisfaction by using Tupperware product in Palu City (2) There is influence of product quality with performance, suitability, endurance, aesthetics and perceived significantly to consumer satisfaction using Tupperware product in Palu City.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the influence of logistic performance on operational performance in the rattan small-medium business in Palu. Population of this research is 24 Rattan small-medium business, which consists of 24 business owners as respondents, and 24 active employees. In total, the sample of this research is 48 people who selected with census method. Method of analysis is multiple linear regressions by using software of SPSS for Windows Release 16.0. Hypothesis test shows significance level of ? = 0.05 and reliability test using the coefficient values shows cronbach alpha with coefficient of ? = 0,60. The result indicates that logistic performance simultaneously have significant influence on operational performance, with adjusted R-square value of 46.4%. Partially, with the standard of ? = 0.05, X1, X2 and X3 have significant influence on Y with sig. value of 0.033, 0.037 and 0.000 respectively. The correlation test shows a correlation coefficient by 0.706, which means that the variable of logistic performance has a strong relationship with the operational performance of 70.6%.

Abstract

The research aims to find out the influence of mix promotion on customer decision in using iB Hasanah saving at PT. BNI Syariah Branch Palu. The variable used are advertisement (X1), selling promotion (X2), relationship between people (X3), personal selling (X4), direct marketing (X5), as well as variable customer decision (Y). This is a quantitative research. Sample consists of 72 respondents who are the customers of iB Hasanah saving at PT. BNI Syariah Branch Palu. Method of analysis is multiple linear regressions. The research results indicate that variable of mix promotion simultaneously affect on customer decision. Advertisement partially affect on customer decision, while selling promotion, people relationship, personal selling, and direct marketing partially have non-significant influence on customer decision.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much the brand equity effect to repurchase intention Samsung brand mobile phone to the students of the faculty of economics Tadulako University, Palu. The research method used is descriptive of causal method with a sample of 75 people with non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling approach and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis method with the aid of a computer program SPSS for Windows Release 16.0. The results showed that: 1). brand equity consists of brand awareness, perceived quality, brand association and brand loyalty simultaneously affect significantly on repurchase intention Samsung brand mobile phone to the students of the faculty of economics Tadulako University, Palu; 2). Brand awareness partially have no significant effect on repurchase intention Samsung brand mobile phone to the students of the faculty of economics Tadulako in Palu; 3). Perceived quality, brand association, and brand loyalty is partially affect significantly on repurchase intention Samsung brand mobile phone to the students of the faculty of economics Tadulako in Palu.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine simultaneous and partial influence of emotional intelligence (X1) and individual characteristics (X2) on entrepreneurship interests (Y). Subject of the research is students of Management Faculty of Economics, Tadulako University of 88 students, which consists of 28 students of 2012 batch, 26 students of 2013 batch, and 34 students of 2014 batch. Data collection methods applied are observation, interviews, and questionnaires; data analysis is multiple linear regressions with SPSS software for Windows Release 16.0. The result shows that: 1) emotional intelligence and individual characteristics simultaneously have significant influence on entrepreneurship interests of students in the Faculty of Economics, Tadulako University, 2) emotional intelligence has significant influence on entrepreneurship interests of students in the Faculty of Economics, Tadulako University, and 3) individual characteristics have significant influence on entrepreneurship interests of students in the Faculty of Economics, Tadulako University.

Abstract

This research aims to determine, understand, and analyze the influence of capital lending and economic profitability on the cooperative for The Indonesian Republic officials ?Karya Bhakti? of The Departement of Industry Cooperation and Trading at Central Sulawesi Province. It is a descriptive research using quantitative and qualitative approach that consists of primary data and secondary data. Data collection method to obtain the primary data is observation on Karya Bhakti Employee Cooperative as the subject of research and secondary data obtained from the financial annual report Karya Bhakti Cooperative. The analysis of loan capital and economic profitability of Karya Bhakti Cooperative is measured by using trend analysis. Based on the data analysis from 2008 to 2013, it indicates that the development of Loan capital has increased every year. This is due to the development of the business managed by the cooperatives operations, while the development of the economic profitability has been fluctuated, as well as the result of trend analysis of capital lending and economic profitability showed an increase every year.
