Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1) to determine the influence of competence and work motivation on service quality at KPKNL Palu; 2) to determine the influence of competence on service quality at KPKNL Palu; 3) to determine the influence of work motivation on service quality at KPKNL Palu. Sample consists of 72 people/employees representing their work units. Research method using multiple linear analysis method. The results indicate that Y = 0.068 + 0.152X1 + 0.839X2. The test shows that competence and work motivation simultaneously have significant influence on service quality. Partial tests show that competence has non-significant influence on service quality while work motivation significantly influence the quality of service. The determinant coefficient shows the value of R-Square of 0.904, which means that 90.4% of service quality are influenced by competence and work motivation, while the rest of 9.6% is influenced by other variables that are not examined in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out what factors are considered by the community to visit the culinary tourism locations of Kaili Village. This type of explorative research, namely research conducted because this research tries to explore information or problems that are relatively new. In this study researchers used a sample of 80 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study is accidental sampling. Data analysis method used in this study uses factor analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are 4 (four) factors that are considered by the community to visit the culinary tourism sites of Kaili Village. The four factors are, core service factors, menu factors, place factors, and unplanned needs factors which are the results of 16 variables analyzed.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the influence of servant leadership and work motivation on the performance of employees at the Pratama Tax Office Palu. Independent variables include servant leadership (X1) and work motivation (X2); dependent variable is employees? performance (Y). The research is quantitative descriptive and uses quantitative data from primary and secondary sources. Population in this study involves 104 employees with 51 samples selected by proportional random sampling. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis method. The results of this study indicate that servant leadership and work motivation simultaneously and partially influence the performance of employees.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the engine maintenance performed Sariwangi Earth Pearl Factory Shop and to find out whether the policies implemented have been streamlined. To achieve these objectives, using quantitative methods and mathematical statistics as a tool to help decide the maintenance policies to be taken at a certain time.The results showed that the annual preventive maintenance Rp. 4.200.000, -, while corrective annual fee of Rp. 4.500.000, -. Coffee Factory Sariwangi then implement preventive maintenance can save maintenance cost Rp. 300.000, -.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the queuing system at the cashier that was implemented in the Bumi Nyiur Swalayan Center expenditure center had been effective or not. This study uses the M / M / S model queue formula. The conclusion of this study shows that the queuing system at Bumi Nyiur Swalayan Center Palu City using 4 cashiers, has an average percentage of ? value of 57.18% which is in the ineffective category. The most effective number of cashiers is 3 cashiers that have an average value of ? of 76.23%, which can be used in quite effective categories, but with consideration there is an increase in the number of employees serving in the cashier.

Abstract

This study aims to determine some factors considered by consumers prior to purchasing Yamaha motorcycles in Palu City. Type of study is exploratory with 105 respondents who bought Yamaha motorcycle in Palu City. Data collection techniques include observation, interview, and questionnaire. The tool for factor analysis is SPSS program 22.0. The results show that factors such as product, price, friend suggestion, promotion, product quality, service quality, advertisement, family suggestion, brand, lifestyle, brochure, and design were considered by consumers in buying Yamaha motorcycles in Palu City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine and analyze the influence of marketing mix on purchasing decisions of Samsung smartphone in Alkhairaat University?s students in Palu. Type of research is descriptive causal using purposive sampling technique, with a sample of 60 respondents. Method of analysis is multiple linear regressiosn by using computer program SPSS for Windows Release 16.0. The Hypothesis test show a significance level ?=0.05 and for the reliability test shows cronbach alpha coefficient values with the limit value coefficient of ?=0.60. The results of this study show that marketing mix significantly influences purchasing decisions with sig. value of 0,000. Partial test with standard ? = 0.05 shows the results of products (X1), price (X2), points (X3), and promotion (X4) significantly influence purchasing decisions with sig. value of 0,007, 0,000. 0.012, and 0.000, respectively. Alla variables have influence on purchasing decisions of 0.876 or 87.6%, while the remaining 12.4% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of store image, consisting of store location, product, price, service, promotion, and physical facilities, on customers? shopping satisfaction at The Battleboom Store in Palu City. Type of research is quantitative. Sample consists of 100 respondents who shopped at The Battleboom Store in Palu City, who selected with a non-probability sampling technique, named purposive sampling. Method of analysis is multiple linear regressions. The result shows that store image simultaneously affects customer satisfaction. However, there are two dimensions of store image that are store location and physical facilities that have non-significant influence on customers? shopping satisfaction at The Battleboom Store in Palu City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine simultaneous and partial influence of product quality both on repurchase decision of Shinzui bath soap in Palu City. Independent variables used in this study consist of performance, features, reliability, durability, conformance, aesthetics, and perceived quality; while dependent variable is repurchase decision (Y). The research method is descriptive. Sample consists of 80 respondents who selected by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis method is multiple linear regressions. The result of this research shows that product quality, consists of performance, feature, reliability, durability, conformance, aesthetics, and perceived quality simultaneously have significant influence on repurchase decision of Shinzui bath soap in Palu City. Partially, product qualities that consist of feature and perceived quality have significant influence on repurchase decision of Shinzui bath soap in Palu City. While performance, reliability, durability, conformance, and aesthetics variables partially have non-significant influence on repurchase decision of Shinzui bath soap in Palu City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of: (1) brand image, consisting of corporate image, customer image, and product image on customer loyalty at PT. BRI Unit Bumi Nyiur Palu. (2) corporate image on customer loyalty at PT. BRI Unit Bumi Nyiur of Palu. (3) customer image on customer loyalty at PT. BRI Unit Bumi Nyiur of Palu. (4) product image on customer loyalty at PT. BRI Unit Bumi Nyiur of Palu. Type of study is causal descriptive. Population includes customers at PT. BRI Unit Bumi Nyiur of Palu. Sampling technique is purposive sampling, with 100 respondents as samples. Method of analysis is multiple regression analysis. The results show that (1) brand image consisting of corporate image, customer image, and product image simultaneously have significant influence on customer loyalty at PT. BRI Unit Bumi Nyiur of Palu (2) Corporate image has a significant influence on customer loyalty at PT. BRI Unit Bumi Nyiur of Palu, (3) customer image has a significant influence on customer loyalty at PT. BRI Unit Bumi Nyiur of Palu, (4) product image significantly influences customer loyalty at PT. BRI Unit Bumi Nyiur of Palu.
