In general, this journal also provides access for authors and users as well as other stakeholders. The journal carried an article published scientific in the form of research results. The scope of the study includes the Economic and Social science in the field of fisheries and marine fisheries in the form of marketing, fisheries international trading, fisheries agribusiness, fisheries sociology, the fishing industry, fisheries economics, fisheries resources economics, fisheries resources management, fisheries management plan, fisheries institutional and cooperatives as well as organizational behavior and human resource management.

Abstract

This research aims to know and analyze about contribution, the role of, multiplier effect, and superior commodity of aquaculture fisheries concerning economics regional in Kediri city. The research method using quantitiative descriptive research. Type of data used are secondary data. The method of collecting data is documentation. Methods of data analysis using shift share, location quotient, and multipler effect. This research indicate that aquaculture fisheries have low contribution to regional economics of Kediri city but the role of them become subsector basic and have multiplier effect too. Superior commodity of aquaculture fisheries have Nila, Mas, Lele, Tawes, Patin, Gurami, Koi, Cupang Manvis, Mas Koki, Plati, Gapi, Moli, and Kar Tetra.

Abstract

Prawn shrimp production business is inseparable from the constraints faced, namely the form of production risks that can hamper in running the business of prawn shrimp production. UD Dewi Sri Ayu is one of the businesses that produce prawn shrimp that has been engaged in the fishery industry since 2000. The purpose of this research is to identify sources of production risk, to analyze how the value of probability and the impact of risk caused by sources of risk, and how alternative strategies for handling production risk that can be done by UD Dewi Sri Ayu. The research method used descriptive method to identify sources of production risk in UD Dewi Sri Ayu, z-score method to calculate probability value and Value at Risk method to calculate risk impact. Methods of data collection in this study is to make observations, interviews, and documentation. The result of identification has been found four kinds of source of production risk in prawn shrimp production activity at UD Dewi Sri Ayu, that is source of risk caused by mushroom (dewded packaging) having probability value and biggest impact loss, mushroom (petis not ripe perfect) human resource error (hard petty texture), and lastly the human resource error (taste of acid petition) that has the least probability and impact loss value. Alternative strategies for handling production risks can be done in two ways: preventive strategies and mitigation strategies. The advice that can be given to UD Dewi Sri Ayu is in handling production risk better done gradually by looking at the level of risk from sources of risk that exist.

Abstract

Rajungan (Portunus pelagicus) is sea crab which found on Indonesia waters. Rajungan also kind of fisheries comodity which have important economic value and high enough in Indonesia. This research doing for knowing supply chain of Rajungan from upstream to downstream at Pangkah Wetan Village’s Ujungpangkah District, Gresik. Method of research used descriptive with qualitative approach. Number of sample used amount 50 respondents therefore can be said sampling is full. Method of collected data using interview, observe, documentation, and literature review. Method of data analysis used describtive qualitative and enhanced with triangulasi. Result of analysis supply chain research rajungan comodities produced by researchers are there supplu chain’s flow where the difference is when fishermans borrow to their boss and fisherman who determining to own money. The member who run activitiy is fisherman, the large scale traders, the large scale traders large and companies. Market share of rajungan is great demand in international market likes United State of America, Singapore, China, Japan, and others. The trust among partners and making fisherman-company’s contract  deals is urgenly needed for advantages to both sides.

Abstract

Demand for marine tourism is high today causing maritime tourism offered by the Government and coastal communities to increase. Development and development of tourism conducted to meet the public demand for marine tourism is required for the management of the achievement of community welfare. The required management must be balanced between ecological function and economic function. The purpose of this study is to know and analyze the involvement of the community, partners, visitation, amount of income, and ecological tourism development of CMC Three Colors and Coast of Goa of China. The research method used is qualitative descriptive analysis with interview and observation research technique. The results show that the comparison of the management of the two coastal tours can be seen from the involvement of the community and partners on tourism, the number of visits and the amount of income, and the development of the ecological function of the two tours. CMC Tour Three Colors that have the concept of ecotourism get other benefits higher than the disadvantages of the management performed. Ecological functions and economic functions can be balanced. While the Coast of Goa of China with the concept of masstourism get other benefits less than the loss of management because of the management focused on economic function so that other benefits to the ecological function of degradation.

Abstract

This research was conducted to know and analyze the impact, the most dominant factor, and social media relations and factors of AISAS (Attention, Interest, Search, Action, Share) on the decision of visiting in the Ria Beach Recreation Park, Kenjeran of Surabaya. The respondents of this research were 30 tourist visitors of old Kenjeran beach and 30 tourist visitors of new Kenjeran beach. This research use descriptive method. The result is that the characteristics of the majority of respondents are 21-25 years, the level of education is high school with employment status as students and majority use instagram. From the test results obtained very biased results is the social media because the majority of tourists stated that social media accounts accessible to the public because social media is the most appropriate media to convey information from the manager to tourists as well as among tourists as a means of tourism promotion beachs do, so many of them are interested in advertising on social media (Interest) and look for further information (Search) then gives rise to the desire for a visit to the old Kenjeran and new Kenjeran beach (Action). Finally, after the tourists had a pleasant impression, they disseminate the experiences (Share) through social media or word of mouth, so they can make information and recommendation by the public to visit.

Abstract

The objectives of this research: 1) to analyze the contribution of tuna, tuna and skipjack to gross regional domestic income, 2) to estimate the development of tuna, tuna and skipjack tuna production. The method used in this study is quantitative and secondary data types sourced from BPS and DKP with data collection techniques documentation. Quantitative data analysis in this research is contribution analysis and quadratic trend. The average contribution of TCT fish to PDRB of Tulungagung Regency is 0.0006%. Estimated production from 2017-2026 tuna has an average production increase of 32%, skipjack tuna has an average production increase of 31% and tuna has an average production increase of 43%.The increased production of TCT fish expected sees the sustainability of ecology by the use of the think that environmentally friendly and considers value optimal the use of commodities TCT fish.

Abstract

Today, every food industry must putting food safety as a bottom line to keep their product on a high quality. Fisheries product must be keeping the role of food safety to keep consumers safe to consumed a fisheries product. Traceability is a system to keep the food safety of a product to be safe on consumer table. Indonesian government have been released some decree which regulating the food safety role as a consumers protection program. Regulation of Indonesian government should be examined on the effectiveness perspectives. This research is aiming on the effectiveness perspectives of Indonesian government decree implementation of food safety. Research method was using descriptive analysis. Research was found that implementation of regulation Indonesian government about food safety was lack of effectiveness to keep food safety on the fisheries product, especially from the food additives perspective. Law enforcement is an urgent issue on the food safety regulation.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to know the decent of catching and frozen fish company like technical aspect, financial aspect, market aspect, management aspect, effect for the society in Probolinggo, and make a business plan for the frozen fish company. The research method use in this research is deskriptive method, and to collect data used survey method. While for the sample collecting used purposive sample. The kinds of data collected involves primary and secondary data, while for the data analysis used descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative analysis. Kakap merah is catching with rawai dasar (bottom long line). In frozen company fish have some process like taking the fish, filleting, triming, cutting, glassing, packaging, freezing, and holding. Profit gained for kakap merah catching in 1 years is Rp 84.012.750,-; Rentabilitas 51,9%; NPV Rp 357.143.082,-; Net B/C 8,45; IRR 191,6%; and Payback Period 4,3 years. While profit gained for frozen fish sector in 1 years have Rp 32.366.767.655,-; Rentabilitas 188%; NPV Rp 146.750.029.164,-; Net B/C 38,4; IRR 835,4%; and Payback Period 3,8 years. Both businesses can be declared feasible and profitable. This sector have average opportunity market 702.293,8 ton/years. For the business planning with 40 catching unit we can produced 825.000 kg/ years. And this sector can take 280 workers, have profit gained Rp 3.192.484.500,-; also can give the poor family with zakat Rp 168.025.500,- every years. While for frozen fish sector we can take 178 workers, have profit gained Rp 30.748.429.272,-; and can give the poor family with zakat Rp 1.618.338.383,- every years.

Abstract

Production risk causes the income of catfish seed cultivator in UPR Mulyorejo I is not maximum, so it is necessary to identify the problem of production risk by knowing the type, probablility and impact of production risk and its handling strategy. The method used is descriptive survey method using primary and secondary data. Primary data by observing directly on the location of research and observation data collection techniques, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The result of analysis shows that there are four sources of risk in UPR Mulyorejo I that are seasonal change, water quality, disease and pest with probability 32%, 30%, 27%, and 19%, with risks of IDR 1,200,568, IDR 983,952, IDR 840,531, and IDR 355,725. Seasonal changes and water quality is a risk of having a high probability that the need for special handling from the farmers.

Abstract

Indragiri Hilir Regency has great potential in catch fisheries sector. However, many obstacles and challenges faced by local governments in the development of capture fisheries business, due to various factors. The objectives of this research are: 1) to identify the potential of capture fisheries, ie facilities and infrastructure, and the existing condition 2) to formulate the strategy of developing the capture fishery business. This research used qualitative and quantitative approach. The data collected includes primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were condusted through in-depth interviews and FGDs with business actors, as well as stakeholders in Indragiri Hilir District equipped with observations and documentations. Data analysis used SWOT method by first analyzed the internal and external factors that produced 3 alternative strategies. These alternatives strategies then re-analyzed using the QSPM analysis unit to determined of priority strategies. The results of this research is the potential of capture fisheries in Indragiri Hilir Regency is very large, but there are still many obstacles due to facilities and infrastructure support is still minimal. Alternative strategies generated in this study are 1). utilization of fisheries and marine resources through improvement of facilities and infrastructure of environmentally friendly fishing units, 2). optimizing the role and function of TPI through PPI development, 3). increasing the role of “Pokmaswas” through the provision and utilization of monitoring facilities.
