Abstract

The geographical condition of Sungai Pisang Village located on the coastal fringe and not too far from the famous island tourism which potential in West Sumatera becomes an opportunity for the people of Sungai Pisang, especially the fishermen to increase their standard of living. But in reality, the outsiders in the Bungus area are more likely to take advantage of the opportunity because of their location close to the city center. The tourists can only be seen from afar by biduk fishermen of Sungai Pisang. Most tourists prefer to use Tour and Travel services from Bungus area. Biduk fishermen are only bringing few tourists to the island tour even though the price offered is much cheaper. Based on preliminary study, there are problems such as the lack of knowledge of the fisherman on the effective product marketing strategy. So far, there are no marketing tools to promote the transportation services of biduk fisherman to the island tourism in the Sungai Pisang broadly. Therefore, it is necessary to design a marketing information system for island tourism biduk.  The marketing information system is a mobile web-based designed using PHP programming language and supported by the MySQL database. The information marketing system is expected to increase the number of tourists who use the island tourism biduk as an effort to increase the sustainable fishermen's economy.

Abstract

The high value of expired drugs in the Pharmaceutical Installation of the Riau Islands Province is one of the problems that is faced in the planning process of the Provincial Buffer Stock drug provides. The study was conducted with a qualitative approach and evaluation to understand and find the answers to the problems. The results from identification of problems that were carried out through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) are the data, human resources, and supporting factors that have a significant influence in preparing the plans for drug provides. The four main scales of priority of improvement strategies that were obtained in the preparation of drug planning are (1) Technical guidance and monitoring of evaluation of human resources at the health service center are carried out periodically by the Provincial Pharmacy Installation; (2) Availability of guidelines about the types of drugs that can be provided; (3) Provision of Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) and guidelines for the preparation of written drug providers; (4) The Pharmacy Installation Managers must be pharmaceutical professionals and not be burdened with other work. In an effort to improve data validation in the preparation of the drug provides the plan in the Pharmaceutical Installation of Riau Islands Province, the SILO application (Drug Logistics Information System) is recommended.

Abstract

The problem that occurs in the packaging bottle production process is the amount of waste in it. Therefore, this study aims to make improvements in reducing waste of production time and provide recommendations for managing the production process so that in the future can be used as a reference in the production process optimization. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis conducted by examining the work and activities of an object. The results of the study show that in the production process, there was still a form of waste which, when viewed from the seven waste concept in the lean manufacturing system, there are some of the most dominant wastes such as inventory, waiting, process, overproduction, and defect. After improvement of the current mapping, the waste that occurs such as inventory, process, overproduction, waiting, and defects that occur in the production line reduced from the total lead time of 2.1 days with seven operators to 0.9 days with ten operators. Furthermore, the cycle time value of the current value stream mapping was 120.9 seconds, while the cycle time value of the proposed value stream mapping was 72 seconds. This shows an increase in productivity.
