Abstract

While a data warehouse is designed to support the decision-making function, the most time-consuming partis the Extract Transform Load (ETL) process. Case in Academic Data Warehouse, when data source came from thefaculty?s distributed database, although having a typical database but become not easier to integrate. This paperpresents how to an ETL process in distributed database academic data warehouse. Following Data Flow Threadprocess in the data staging area, a deep analysis performed for identifying all tables in each data sources, includingcontent profiling. Then the cleaning, confirming, and data delivery steps pour the different data source into the datawarehouse (DW). Since DW development using bottom-up Kimball?s multidimensional approach, we found the threetypes of extraction activities from data source table: merge, merge-union, and union. Result for cleaning andconforming step set by creating conform dimension on data source analysis, refinement, and hierarchy structure. Thefinal of the ETL step is loading it into integrating dimension and fact tables by a generation of a surrogate key. Thoseprocesses are running gradually from each distributed database data sources until it incorporated. This technicalactivity in distributed database ETL process generally can be adopted widely in other industries which designer musthave advance knowledge to structure and content of data source.

Abstract

Peran Information and Communication Technology (ICT) dalam memasarkan produk UKM kreatif menjadi strategis agar UKM kreatif yang selama ini product oriented menjadi market oriented. Strategi pemasaran melalui ICT memberikan kesempatan kepada UKM kreatif mendapatkan informasi dan berkomunikasi serta menyampaikan ide produknya kepada stakeholder sehingga dapat melakukan ekspor dan peluang bisnis lainnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dimana yang menjadi objeknya adalah UKM kreatif Hailcake. Tujuan penelitian 1), untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi pemasaran melalui ICT yang telah dilakukan Hailcake. 2) Apakah ICT berperan dalam meningkatkan penjualan Hailcake. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hailcake melaksanakan semua aktivitas produksi dan  promosi di rumah sambil tetap dapat mengerjakan aktifitas sebagai ibu rumah tangga di rumah. Strategi pemasaran yang dilakukan Hailcake adalah memanfaatkan ICT dengan membuat jejaring sosial seperti Facebook dan Twitter tetapi belum maksimal memanfaatkan blog. ICT berperan positif dalam memperluas pemasaranya. Informasi dari mulut ke mulut turut membantu distribusi produk Hailcake.

Abstract

The geographical condition of Sungai Pisang Village located on the coastal fringe and not too far from the famous island tourism which potential in West Sumatera becomes an opportunity for the people of Sungai Pisang, especially the fishermen to increase their standard of living. But in reality, the outsiders in the Bungus area are more likely to take advantage of the opportunity because of their location close to the city center. The tourists can only be seen from afar by biduk fishermen of Sungai Pisang. Most tourists prefer to use Tour and Travel services from Bungus area. Biduk fishermen are only bringing few tourists to the island tour even though the price offered is much cheaper. Based on preliminary study, there are problems such as the lack of knowledge of the fisherman on the effective product marketing strategy. So far, there are no marketing tools to promote the transportation services of biduk fisherman to the island tourism in the Sungai Pisang broadly. Therefore, it is necessary to design a marketing information system for island tourism biduk.  The marketing information system is a mobile web-based designed using PHP programming language and supported by the MySQL database. The information marketing system is expected to increase the number of tourists who use the island tourism biduk as an effort to increase the sustainable fishermen's economy.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi (ICT) sebagai media promosi dan komunikasi di Indonesia masih kurang berkembang. Kondisi ini memberi peluang kepada masyarakat untuk lebih memanfaatkan teknologi ini terutama di sektor pendidikan baik formal maupun nonformal. Hal ini memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap kemajuan aktifitas pendidikan di berbagai negara. Pengunaan teknologi teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi (ICT) terutama teknologi internet merupakan cara yang inovatif dalam melaksanakan berbagai program pendidikan. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi internet, lembaga pendidikan formal dan nonformal dapat melakukan berbagai kegiatan secara elektronik seperti media forum, email, mailing list dan berbagai aktifitas lainnya. Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Karang Putih merupakan salah satu wadah berbagai kegiatan pembelajaran masyarakat yang bersifat nonformal. Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Karang Putih dibentuk dengan tujuan untuk memperluas kesempatan warga masyarakat khususnya yang tidak mampu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap mental yang diperlukan untuk mengembangkan diri dan bekerja mencari nafkah. Agar masyarakat luas mengetahui tentang Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) pada umumnya dan Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Karang Putih khususnya maka dikembagkanlah suatu webiste. Website ini nantinya dapat digunakan sebagai media promosi dan komunikasi bagi Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Karang Putih.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimal inventory control of cardboard raw materials at CV. Multirejeki Selaras, a Bottled Drinking Water company in 2020 using the Economic Order Quantity method. The research was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods by describing how the company controls inventory and then the data obtained were analyzed using the EOQ method. The results showed that the cardboard raw material inventory control was implemented by CV. Multirejeki Selaras is not yet optimal. This can be seen from the resulting TIC value whereby using the EOQ method the company can make savings of 53%. By using the EOQ method, the optimal number of cardboard purchases is 129,839 units with a frequency of ordering 13 times a year. The number of safety supplies that must be available in the company is 15,457 units. The re-order point for purchasing boxes is when the available boxes are 38,657 units.

Abstract

In this research, we use sentiment analysis to refine the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the Bukalapak application, a leading online trading platform in Indonesia. We focus our scrutiny on 4,462 reviews related to the UI within a larger dataset of 246,947. Almost a third of these critiques express dissatisfaction, predominantly pointing out issues related to the UI design and its functionality. The critiques underscore the potential of sentiment analysis as a tool to uncover areas of user-centric design that need improvement. To address these issues, it is necessary to incorporate user feedback and sentiment analysis into the design workflow, allowing a more in-depth understanding of user needs and facilitating more effective service enhancements. Embracing a user-centered methodology allows for UI fine-tuning, leading to better functionality and increased user contentment. Our investigation reveals a positive link between design refinements and usability ratings, indicating improved user experience satisfaction. To summarize, this research highlights the essential contribution of user feedback and sentiment analysis to detect and correct UI shortfalls, thus augmenting UX and contributing to the triumph of platforms like Bukalapak within Indonesia's dynamically changing e-commerce environment.

Abstract

Industri makanan dan minuman berperan besar dalam ekonomi Indonesia. Roti sebagai salah satu produk makanan termasuk kategori fast mover consumer goods dan perishable product yang dijual cepat, harga relatif murah, namun cepat kadaluarsa dengan siklus hidup yang Terkhusus bagi Ikobana Bakery, yang memproduksi roti Jepang dengan tekstur lembut berbahan premium dan varian banyak perlu strategi pemasaran untuk meningkatkan penjualan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola pembelian konsumen yang dibeli secara bersamaan baik saat promosi maupun penjualan reguler, sehingga diketahui produk yang paling sering dibeli dan akhirnya dapat memberikan strategi pemasaran berdasarkan perilaku pembelian konsumen. Metode yang digunakan adalah market basket analysis algoritma apriori menggunakan data transaksi dari Januari 2022 sampai dengan Agustus 2023, sejumlah 1000 data penjualan promosi dan 4593 data penjualan reguler. Bahasa pemrograman Python digunakan untuk mengolah dan menganalisis data. Dari penelitian ini dihasilkan 17 aturan asosiasi untuk penjualan promosi dengan minimum support 40% dan minimum confidence 60%, serta 11 aturan untuk penjualan reguler dengan minimum support 20% dan minimum confidence 55%. Roti sosis mayonaise menonjol sebagai produk penting dengan nilai consequent support tinggi yaitu sebesar 36,2% pada penjualan promosi dan 29,3% pada penjualan reguler. Pada produk rekomendasi yaitu roti melon pan terdapat perilaku konsumen yang menginginkan produk ini pada saat penjualan promosi 2 kali lipat lebih besar aturan yang terbentuk dibandingkan pada saat penjualan regular. Rekomendasi pemasaran termasuk strategi product bundling dan price bundling untuk meningkatkan penjualan.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe the halal product among Muslim communities in Japan. Japan provides many facilities to serve halal food in Japan to show enthusiasm become a world role model of halal products. The Muslim community in Japan practices online transactions between them and they bought halal products in e-commerce by word of mouth. Most of the halal products in Japan are imported from Muslim countries. For the Indonesian Muslim community in Japan, e- trust becomes an important instrument for deciding to buy online halal products. Descriptive qualitative research is conducted to describe the fact, conditions, and phenomena regarding the halal industry in Japan. The result shows that the Muslim community in Japan needs the availability of halal products and services. E-trust and e-services to a halal online store became an important role to influence the Muslim community in Japan in making transactions.

Abstract

Safety risk surveillance at nuclear facilities is an important element in ensuring the protection of workers, the public, and the environment from radiation hazards. The Nuclear Power Supervisory Institution manages large data related to nuclear safety risk surveillance. However, this very large and diverse volume of data causes difficulties in adequate processing and analysis, thus hampering the speed and accuracy of supervisory decision making. The main obstacle faced is data management that is still manual and less integrated so that the risk monitoring process becomes less efficient. Therefore, this research designs a website-based Decision Support System (DSS) with the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to assist the decision-making process that is more objective, accurate, and based on risk priorities in nuclear safety. The results showed that the use of the AHP method in DSS was able to provide priority weights for risk criteria in an objective and structured manner. Consistency Ratio (CR) of 0.0066 shows a good level of assessment consistency. This system facilitates data visualization and presents safety risk inspection priority recommendations effectively through an interactive dashboard. The designed DSS is expected to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of nuclear safety risk monitoring at the Nuclear Power Supervisory Institution.

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) contribute significantly to national economic growth, yet they still face challenges in expanding their markets. One of the main obstacles is the reliance on conventional promotion methods and the limited use of digital media. This study aims to design a digital marketing strategy model for “Usaha Baru Ibu,” a pineapple chips producer in Kampar Regency, Riau, using the Grounded Theory approach. This qualitative study involved observation, in-depth interviews with business owners, competitors, and consumers, as well as documentation. Data analysis was carried out through open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. The findings revealed 15 variables influencing digital marketing strategies, with seven core variables identified as the most crucial: technological availability, capability, supporting infrastructure, human resource readiness, product uniqueness, customer expectations, and customer social media. A new theory emerged stating that the success of MSMEs’ digital marketing depends on technological readiness, human resource capability, social media utilization, and the delivery of product uniqueness aligned with customer expectations.
