Abstract

Pada dasarnya tulisan ini merupakan terjemahan dari buku yang berjudul Multikultural Issues in Counseling: New Approaches to Diversity pada bagian pertama yang disajikan oleh Courtland C. Lee and Cara J. Ramsey. Akan tetapi, penulis coba kembangkan dengan refrensi-refrensi lainnya yang sama-sama mengkaji tentang konseling dalam  konteks budaya. Mengingat, masyarakat Indonesia yang sangat kaya akan budaya, baik dari segi etis, suku, dan ras sehingga penulis menganggap kajian-kajian budaya dalam proses pelaksanaan konseling adalah suatu hal yang signifikan guna membantu konselor dalam memahami  lebih luas dari permasalahan konseli.

Abstract

In this research, the researcher will explain the practical parts, how is the initial process until the next process about conducting personal card especially at school. The personal card is very important so it is very in need to promptly carried out, from a personal card a guider can be identified in all majors, either the guidance or counseling. The counseling process in the school will go well if all of the data about the counselee is complete. The relation of implementation of the personal card is an Islamic Guidance Counseling teacher can easily find out a child or her/his life outside school, what activities outside school, with whom she/he gets along and the important thing is about her/his spiritual level. The conclusion of this reseach was first, the personal card is a list that contains all the aspects from of the circumstances of the child. Second, from this personal card the guider can shove off into all the majors, both for guidance as well as counseling. Third, the data to be quickly retrived, Fourth, the material in the personal card, fifth, facilitate the counseling process.

Abstract

The implementation of guidance and counseling in Indonesia started from educational settings since 1960s, as a form of government awareness in responding the educational problem and as an acceleration step in improving and increasing human resources. The seriousness of the government in optimizing the role of educational counselor, it is appeared clearly by expanding the counselor’s space and regulating the profession in legislation and government regulations. The role of counselor become more prosperous in educational institution, marked by counselor mandate to apply counseling service listed in the curriculum of 2013. On the other hand, the existence of counselors in educational settings characterized by the appearance of national education system 2003 article 1 paragraph 6 and Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia number 74 in 2008 about teacher article 54 item 6, mentioned that “the workload of the guidance teacher and counseling or counselor who obtain professions allowances and  additional allowance educate at least 150 students per year on one or more educational level. By observing the government’s seriousness in expressing the existence of the counselor in educational institution, it should be followed by preparing the competence of professional expert in handling the expert service for the learners. . The aspects contained in the competence including knowledge, understanding, skill, attitude, interest, value, and sensitive, toward the development of knowledge, the improvement of those competences in improving performance in order to give satisfaction in fulfilling the needs of the learners.

Abstract

The various viewpoints of personality experts apparently caused Albert Bandura to develop his investigation focus in psychology. Through Bandura’s theory developed, the social learning theory or social cognitive more refers to Skinner view about conditioning theory. Bandura looked at the existence of personality theories such as; psychoanalysis, emphasized on the strength of unconsciousness and the influence of childhood. The characteristic theory is too focused on consistency of behavior in various situations.  Evolution theory believed that the biological factor would not change. As well as the basic principle of behaviorism theory which regards organism as a controlled side by the rewards and punishments from the environment, he still lacks detail compared by the approach theory he developed more subtle, even significant. It was not because the basic assumption that is owned by this theory that humans have flexibility to learn about different types of behavior in different situation, and humans also have the capacity to control their life. Because according to Bandura, human was the producer and as product of social system. That basic assumption then he developed with the view that the development of human personality by the social-cognitive theory of learning acquired through observation and the existence of self-efficacy

Abstract

Instrument and media in guidance and counseling services are tools used in helping a counselor or psychiatrist in resolving the problems faced by the students or individuals, until the students’ problem or individuals can be resolved soon. Nowadays, the implementation of guidance and counseling services can be said that it has run in various level of education, such as: kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school. Although we can say that it has run, however the implementation has not been maximal yet. Because the implementation of guidance and counseling services have not been maximal yet, the researcher was interested in discussing about the use of instrument and media in guidance and counseling services, including the instruments used are based on analysis of data and the needs of the students.
