Abstract

Setiap manusia pasti memiliki permasalahan, apakah masalah tersebut sebagai implikasi dari ketidakmampuan dalam menyikapi lingkungan yang kurang kondusif, atau lingkungan personal yang tidak mampu diorganisasikan sehingga mengakibatkan lahirnya perilaku-perilaku abnormal.  Pendekatan konseling Getstal ingin memperbaiki individu dengan memfokuskan pada perspektif kekinian, yaitu melalui proyeksi fenomena masa lampau dengan kondisi yang ada saat ini.  Efektivitas kolaborasi konselor dengan konseli sangat menentukan keberhasilan dalam proses konseling karena ditekankan pada sikap kemandirian konseli dalam menyelesaikan problemnya. Sedangkan, konselor hanya bertugas mentransformasikan pengetahuan dan membantu konseli dalam menemukan akar dari permasalahan serta membantu konseli menemukan cara untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that are frequently hit by natural disasters, and not a few of the consequences of such natural disasters inflict many victims. Moreover, many of the survivors suffered psychological trauma. Departing from that fact, the government should prepare individuals who are skilled in dealing with the traumatic case that experienced by the victims of natural disasters.  Trauma is an emotional condition expanded after the inconvenience traumatic event, sadden, frightening, worrying, disappointing, such as rape, combat, physical violence, accidents, natural disasters, and the certain events that make the inner counselee depressed. Counseling in traumatic case refers to a therapeutic help are directed to change the attitudes and behavior of the traumatic counselee. Carried out face to face between counselee and counselor; through interview techniques with the counselee so that the problem about what they have experienced will be resolved. One of therapy approaches can be applied by professional counselors is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). Aaron T. Beck defines CBT is the counseling approach that is designed to resolve the counselee problem at this time by doing cognitive restructuration and behavior deviant. CBT undertaken with cognitive restructuration and exposure.

Abstract

Ethics is the important role in human life, just imagine a world without ethics and morals, then the consequences will be a world where no one has a conscience and no one will ever feel guilty or sorry for what they did or did not do.  According to Freud, he said that human is deterministic because is determined by unconscious irrational power, the unconscious motivation, biological encouragement, and instinctive encouragement. Human has always been the pursuit of perfection to get happiness and to avoid unhappiness. The purpose of this research was to describe about the psychoanalysis ethics of Sigmund Freud and to apply it in social life in order to create the social piety.  During Freud psychoanalysis as if its just in medicine, counseling and religion.  But what about the psychoanalysis ethics of Sigmund Freud are manifesting  in the structure of human personality like Id (Das Es), Ego (Das Ich), Super ego (Das Ueber Ich) were compared in the context of social piety, so it would create the dialogue between individual piety and social piety, to establish the whole system of unity and run circularly.

Abstract

Transactional analysis examines the transaction is done by some individuals who have their own special personality. The transaction is an activity between two or more persons that gives influence on each other. Transactional analysis is rooted in the foundation of anti-deterministic philosophy emphasized that human being is able to go beyond conditioning and initial programming. Transactional analysis is transactional psychotherapy can be used in individual therapy, however it is better used in group therapy. The word of transaction always refers to the rocess of exchange in a relationship. In interpersonal communication is also known as transaction exchanged messages, either verbal or non-verbal. Transactional analysis is a type of communication analysis where every single person placed himself/herself according to the position of the different psychology. The purpose of transactional analysis was to assist individuals in order to have freedom to choose, freedom to change desire, freedom to change some responses toward common or new stimulus.

Abstract

Religion and culture are two entities have always been inherent in human life as social beings. The synergy between religion and culture in affecting the life order of human becomes a uniqueness part in the plural society, the diversity of religion and culture in a society with each having belief, thought, paradigm, values, and norms. It becomes a challenge for counselors to have competence in the field of cultural skills, in understanding the diversity of cultural values and religion. The urgency of that understanding is to avoid cultural bias and religion between counselor and counselee. Thus, the counselors are required to have a cultural sensitive and to develop tolerant attitude in the diverse of population, especially for counselors who work in educational settings. The diverse problem of religions and cultures become problems, which often appear on the surface, such as the harassment of religious teachings, traditions, gender issues.
