Abstract

masonry, and etc. In general, mortar made with low strength, between 3-17 MPa and for high strength mortar needed more cement, where are they had relation of compressive strength and water absorption in the mortar. The relation of compressive strength, water absorption and weight density of mortar caused of water cement ratio, and the summed of cement and sand in mortar mixed. Objective of this research was to know the fit of propert high strength mortar for concrete strengthening, where mortar had well workability and more supplied in Indonesia. Compressive strength test used cilindric specimen for concrete and mortar measured 300 mm in hight with 150 mm diameter. Pull out test for concrete used specimen like to the compressive strength test, pull out test for mortar made from cubicus specimen measured 150 mm x 150 mm x 150 mm. All specimen was tested to produce the compressive strenght and pull-out of steel in mortar and concrete. The result show that mortar as well as used for concrete strengthening. Where the compressive strength of mortar was 56,125 MPa highly from concrete as 196,83%. In pull-out test of steel for the two material had same value, therefor mortar was fit to added for concrete strengthening

Abstract

The trip generation is a submodel of four steps transportation planning model, used for calculating the mount of trip generation caused by land usage. The aim of this research is modeling the trip generation of Western Palu Region used by regression analyses. Data of traveler characteristics in study area i.e, amount of daily movement, number of family members,number of car ownerships, the amount of income were collected with a survey used quisioner methods.The result of this research found that the model of trip generation of Western Palu Region followed the multiple regression model, Y= 0,679+ 0,608X1 + 0,274X2 with coefficient of determination value, R2=0,294

Abstract

One of the main component of DC power supply is filter, which consist of inductor and capacitor, that has function to smooth out the ripples voltage so that it can be obtained stable pure DC signals. There are four types of filter with the same input condition analysed in the research, (1) inductive filter, (2) capacitive filter, (3) L-form inductive filter, (4) π-form capacitive filter. The obtained result indicate that capasitive filter output voltage is bigger and more stable than inductive filter. The biggest output voltage (9,21 Volt) and smallest ripples factor (r=0,0003) are resulted by π-form, capasitive filter. In the certain range, the greater of capacitansi value, the smaller of the ripple factor and the output sinyal is more stable.

Abstract

This study aimed to see how the response changes in the speed DC motor and the armature current at the time of starting and stopping. The method used is a simulation using matlab software. By using the data specification n =ωDripproof type DC motors as well as testing the obtained value of ωn =55.44 rad / sec and ξ =0.3518. Because value ξ smaller than one, then the DC motor has a characteristic of less damped (underdamped).

Abstract

Water availability for various need are decreasing qualitatively and quantitatively, while on the other hand, water demand is increasing, thus, water management problem always occurs. This phenomenon is also found at Palu Groundwater Basin, Central Sulawesi Province, especially at Palu City. The distribution of groundwater potential, which has the spatial and temporal characteristics, caused insufficient domestic needs at Palu City. Thus, according to the problem, the research objectives to analyze groundwater potential based on groundwater characteristics on each hydromorphology units.The research method is survey method as a basis for spatial and ecological analysis, with landform and geology condition as a basis to determine groundwater sample point. Data analysis method in this research consists of: the analysis for field data and analysis for hypothesis testing. Field data analysis consists of technical analysis to determine hydromorphology units. Hypothesis testing analysis are done according to research objectives based on spatial and ecological analysis, and integration of geomorphologic and geologic approach.The result of the research shows that: groundwater potential level based on groundwater characteristics are at alluvial plains hydromorphology unit in Alluvium and Pakuli Formation, which distributed from high – medium. The research findings shows that Palu Groundwater Basin are one of the groundwater basin in Palu Basin, formed due to geological structure (Palu Graben), the Palu fault (sesar). The inflow boundary is located at east and west of Palu River, which is from bent slope of structural hills, the Gawalise Mountain and Tanggungguno Mountain. Abstract

Perceived service quality and satisfaction by users is important aspects on service decision making of travel mode choice. Ojek motorcycle (MC) is an informal public transport recently tends to increase used for short distance in Indonesia cities. This study aim to investigate effect and the relationships of service quality, satisfaction and loyalty of usage of ojek’s MC. the study employs a questionnaire survey and home interviews for ojek’s MC users in Bandung City. The analysis is conducted by using structural equation modeling (SEM). The study’s results are as follows: from second order confirmatory factor analysis, it’s found that time reliability and accessibility factors are significant reflection of service quality, but environment factor is not significant. From analysis the structural relationships between latent variables, it is found that service quality influence directly and significantly to satisfaction and then affect loyalty. Finally, it concludes that the ojek’s MC is still popularity used for urban passenger’s public transport, especially for short distance in Indonesia cities
