Abstract

The roles of the road as the major transportation are to speed up economic between areas, so the goodroad pavement condition is required. Base on the statistic 2010, the roads in Sulawesi Tenggara much morefailure condition than good condition. To minimize the road failure condition, the objective of this researchis to determine the road condition (PCI) and to know causal factors in order to get the best treatmentpriority.This research used Pavement Condition Index Method. The steps of PCI Method were at the first devidedthe road to some units (160 units), second calculate density with the distress type , third measured totaldeduct Value and Corrected Deduct Value base on curve, the last got PCI Indeks.Result of the study showed that the distress types included the alligator cracking(36%), transverse cracking(13%, diagonal cracking (0,1%), block cracking (15,1%), edge cracking (3,5%), depression (2,6%),corrugation ( 1,4%), shoving (1,6%), rutting (0,2%), raveling (56,9 %), bleeding (2,9 %), potholes (6,9 %)and patching (8,5%). However, The PCI of flexible pavement in kendary city was 72 (very good ) and thesubdistrict which got the treadment priority was Puwatu, Wua-Wua and Baruga

Abstract

There are many methods which used to analyze flood hydrograph, started from the simplest Rational Methods to the most complex mathematical models. One of them is Nakayasu Synthetic Unit Hydrograph (SUH) which has been known and used in wide area. Without realized, actually the use of the methods has been given a large deviation if compared with the measured river hydrograph. It is especially caused by the using of rainfall distribution pattern which be the input of the Nakayasu SUH Methods. This research was conducted to investigate the effect of rainfall distribution pattern to the peak discharge of Nakayasu SUH Methods using some rainfall distribution pattern such as Mononobe, ABM and Tadashi Tanimoto which applied on Bangga watershed. The result of the research using 10 elected flood data show that the average deviation from the biggest to the smallest, respectively are Mononobe (69.42 %), ABM (59.44 %) and Tadashi Tanimoto (22.42 %)

Abstract

One effort to reduce the weight of the building is through the use of light particles in the concrete or mortar.For that particles of compost to be one alternative to be used. Utilization of compost particles directly willreduce the effects of environmental pollution due to garbage. Technically, in some cases the strength ofconcrete is not a determining factor but rather the ductility. Therefore in this study will be reviewed andfurther analyzed the mechanical properties of lightweight concrete that uses compost particles as basicmaterials. Mechanical properties and tensile strength referred to is the compressive strength, with normalmortar as a comparison.Based on the results of the weight of the material obtained gr/cm3 mortar respectively, cement 1.25, sand1.60, 0.31 and compost particles with water content 12%. In this case the effect of adding compost is adecrease in compressive strength of 48.74%, 68.78% decrease in tensile strength and weight reduction of9.85%. In this case the application in the manufacture of bricks is still possible, if based on a minimumcompressive strength requirement. The composition of lightweight concrete blocks with a mixture of 3%addition of compost particles are 2Semen: 6.25 Sand: 4Kompos: 2.5 water, which will produce concreteblocks with a weight of 1.89 gr/cm3 and compressive strength 7.7 MPa

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Development Impact of Rural Infrastructure in PNPM RuralProgram in Toli-Toli. Research conducted on the implementation of PNPM Rural Program in Toli-Toli forfiscal year 2007 and 2008.Primary data obtained from interviews with relevant parties and direct observation in the field, then the datais processed with Descriptive Analysis.The results showed the impact of rural infrastructure development in poor communities in Toli Toli, namely:increasing revenue, impoving public education, improving health and improving the public midset. Impact onvillage institutions, namely: the function and role of local government to be effective, institutions ofparticipatory development and improvement of the quality of facilities.and social infrastructure andeconomic base of society

Abstract

Bada Valley, one of the areas in Central Sulawesi, is rich with its natural dan cultural resources that need tobe developed and conserved. This article presents the concept of concervation that could be adapted in thisarea. The concept is called ecomuseum which implements the balace and the integrity of three elements;heritage, the participation from the community and the activity in the museum. It also gives priority toecologi activity to develop the area as the living museum. Through this concept, ecomuseum is expected togive contribution to increase the quality of live for the local community in Bada Valley

Abstract

This paper aims to know how the conventional and fuzzy logic governor respons by load/disturbance changeand how the plant can achieve steady state condition after the load/disturbance change. This research usedsimulation methode which analyze respons of plant using conventional and fuzzy logic governor. In thissimulation, load changed 0,05 pu and 0,5 pu respectively.This study showed that by increasing of loads, 0,05 pu and 0,5 pu, system using conventional governor willachieve steady state condition at the instant of 30 and 35th second and have frequency deviation -0,0024 puand -0,024 pu respectively. Whereas system using fuzzy logic governor will achieve steady at the time of 27thand 33rd second, with frequency deviation are -0,0004 pu and -0,0055 pu. Generally, system using fuzzylogic governor has better performance than system using conventional governor
