Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Career Planning and Leadership toJob Satisfaction and Employee Commitment at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero)Tbk Branch of Teluk kuantan. Population of this research is all employees PT.Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Branch of Teluk kuantan which amounts 251people with a total sample of 197 people. The analysis tool used is path analysis usingSPSS version 21. The results of study show (1) Career planning has a positive andsignificant impact to employee commitment (2) Career planning has a positive andsignificant impact to employee commitment through job satisfaction (3) Leadership hasa positive and significant impact to employee commitment (4) Leadership has a positiveand significant to employee commitment through job satisfaction (5) Job satisfactionhas a positive and significant impact to employee commitment. The result of study haveimplication to career planning and leadership at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero)Tbk branch of Teluk Kuantan which need to be improved in order to increase jobsatisfaction and if job satisfaction is high, it will increase employee commitment forcompany.

Abstract

The Purpose of this study was to examine the influence clarity budgetarytargets, reporting systems, competency to performance accountability of governmentinstitution through organizational commitment as an intervening variable, specificallyinstitution of Kampar district. Respondents in this study are the civil servants whoserved as head of finance, program and evaluation, staff in 20 OPD of Kampar district.The amount of samples in this research was 80 respondents. The sample collectionmethod using proportional stratified sampling, while the method of processing datausing Partial Least Square. Result of this study indicates that clarity budgetary targets,competency, organizational commitment have significant effects on performanceaccountability of government institution, in otherhand, reporting systems doesn’t havesignificant effect. Clarity budgetary targets and competency to the performanceaccountability of the government institution through organizational commitment as anintervening variable have significant effects.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence transformational leadership andcompetence toward motivation and work performance of government internalsupervisor (GIS – APIP) of Inspektorat Provinsi Riau. The background of the study isthat the work performance of government internal supervisor is (so far) very low. Thismatter needs a solution in order to increase the work performance quality to the level ofgood or effective in commencing his/her functions.The data of the study consist ofprimary and secondary data from 111 civil servants as the population and sample aswell (total sample). The needed data were collected through questionnaire andinterview. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis andquantitative analysis to test the hypothesis by applying PLS (Partial Least SquareVersion 3). The findings of the research are as the following: (1) there is a significantinfluence between transformational leadership and work performance of governmentinternal supervisor (GIS – APIP), (2) there is a significant influence betweencompetence and work performance of government internal supervisor (GIS – APIP), (3)there is positive influence but not significant between transformational leadershiptoward motivation (as an interviewing variable), (4) there is a positive influence but notsignificant between competence and work performance through motivation, (5) there isa positive influence but not significant between motivation and work performance ofgovernment internal supervisor (GIS – APIP)

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine differences in the performance of banks in Indonesia, especially BUMN’s Banking and Banking implementing Merger and Acquisition Cross Country, using the study period of 2 years before and 2 years after the transfer of regulatory and supervisory functions Perbankan dari Bank Indonesia to the Financial Services Authority.The population in this study are all BUMN’s Banking and Banking conducting mergers and acquisitions by foreign parties from 2012 to 2015. The sample used in this study was 14 Bank which consists of 4 BUMN’s Banking and 10 Banking conducting Transnational Merger and Acquisition . Methods of data analysis research using purposive sampling method by using paired sample t-test analysis and independent sample t-test.The result of research shows that BUMN’s Banking only BOPO and LDR variables are significant, while CAR, NPL and ROA variables are not significantly different. In Banking that perform merger and Acquisition of Cross Country only variable of NPL, ROA and BOPO there are significant difference whereas CAR and LDR variable there is no significant difference. In the BUMN’s Banking and Banking implementing Merger and Acquisition Cross Country After Transfer of functions Regulation and Supervision of Banking of Bank Indonesia to the Financial Services Authority, only ROA and BOPO that there are significant differences, while variable CAR, NPL and LDR is not a significantdifference .

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the quality of financialreporting with organizational commitment as an Intervening variabel in the localgovernments Kampar. This study population is a civil servant of financial report in theKampar regency with the use of Census methodh with total sample of 84 respondens.The variables used in this study are the Quality of Financial Reporting as dependentvariable and Human Resources Competency, Internal Control System, Utilization ofInformation Technology, and Organizational Commitment as independent variable.sThe analysis tool used is descriptive and qualitative analysis using tools WarpPLS 5 .The result using test coefisient path (Path Coefficient) and value significance (P-value)indicated that the Organizational Commitment, Human Resources Competency and andUtilization of Information Technology have positive and significant inpact diretcly tothe the quality of financial Reporting, but Internal Control System doesn’t havesignificant effect. Human Resources Competency and Utilization of InformationTechnology through organizational commitment as an intervening variable havesignificant effects indirectly to the the quality of financial Reporting.

Abstract

The Influence Of The Role Of Internal Auditors And TheImplementation Of Financial Management Functions In The Management Of Non-Tax Revenue To The Financial Performance Of The University Of Riau. Financialperformance is the level of achievement of results of an activity within a government /non-government agency in relation to the use of funds in accordance with quantity andquality measured using the principles of efficiency and effectiveness. Universities as oneunit of government work units that provide services to the community havecharacteristics and properties different from the work unit of government in general Atthe University of Riau the implementation of financial management functions have longbeen implemented in the implementation has not been running as it should. Accordingto the evaluation result of Riau University governance system in the book of StrategicPlan 2014, Financial management has not fulfilled the principles of transparency andaccountability caused by still constrained by the current financial management system.The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is influencesimultaneously the role of internal auditor and the function of financial management inthe management of non-tax revenue to the performance of Finance University of Riau.This research uses quantitative descriptive method. The nature of this research isdescriptive explanatory research with 63 respondents.The results showed that there is a significant influence between the role of internalauditors on the financial performance of the University of Riau and also there is asignificant influence between the variable implementation of financial managementfunctions to variable financial performance of the University of Riau. Simultaneouslythe role of internal auditors and the implementation of financial management functionsaffect the financial performance of the University of Riau in managing Non-Tax StateRevenue Management, with a very significant level of influence. Where from thedetermination koefisien R2 known that the discipline and supervision variables have aninfluence of 77.4% and the remaining 22.6% influenced by variables not examined inthis study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of discipline and organizationalculture on employee job satisfaction and Employee Productivity.The population of this research are employee of PDAM Tirta Indragiri, both in theoffice and in the field. The total number of Tirta Indragiri PDAM employees is 174people. The results of the study and discussion are presented using WarpPLS analysis.The result of research was that work discipline had an effect on the employee jobsatisfaction. Organizational culture partially effect on employee job satisfaction. Workdiscipline partially has a significant effect on employee productivity. Organizationalculture partially has a significant effect on employee productivity. Job satisfactionpartialy has a significant effect on employee productivity. If there is an increase in jobsatisfaction, then the productivity of personnel will increase and vice versa, if there is adecrease, then the productivity will decrease as well.

Abstract

Control is a mechanism utilised by executives to ensure that organisationalpolicies and system are well in place to guide the organization to reach its goals. Aninternal auditor is required to possess a certain level of competency and independenceto determine whether the organization’s (government) work ethics is in compliance tostandard law and regulations. The role of the internal auditor, as part of the APIP inthe Badan Pengawasan Keuangan dan Pembangungan (BPKP) Perwakilan ProvinsiRiau is to produce quality audit result that is able to exert strain on the workload,enabling law enforcers to expose corruption cases in the Riau province. A certain leveland form of motivation is required to ensure that an auditor is able to work to the bestof his or her ability voluntarily. The purpose of this research is to investigate therelationship between independent and dependent variables, moderated by motivation.The research methodology utilizes Partial Least Square with a sample size of ninetythreeauditors from BPKP Perwakilan Provinsi Riau. The reader will be able to formthe following conclusion based on the purpose of the research and area of analysis;competency and independency variables will influence the quality of the auditsignificantly while the workload variable will not influence the audit qualitysignificantly. There is no significant effect between the Motivation as moderationvariable and the competency, independency as well as the work load variable towardsthe quality of the audit.

Abstract

The influence of organization culture and motivation on the competence andlearning organization of civil servants atthe House of Food and Medicine Monitoring inPekanbaru (BBPOM di Pekanbaru). This research is aimed at finding out andanalyzing the influence of organization culture and motivation on the competence andlearning organization of civil servant at the House of Food and Medicine Monitoring inPekanbaru (BBPOM di Pekanbaru).The population is all civil servant at the House ofFood and Medicine Monitoring in Pekanbaru (BBPOM di Pekanbaru) with totalnumber 96 people. The sampling technique used by the research is by taking allpopulation as the sample with census and satiation method. The analysis applied in thisresearch is two phases of double linear regression.The result of the research shows that the loose variable organization culture andmotivation collectively have positive and significant influence on civil servant at theHouse of Food and Medicine Monitoring in Pekanbaru (BBPOM di Pekanbaru).Partial assessment shows that the variable of organization culture and motivation havepositive and significant influence the competence, while fixed variable competence haspositive and insignificant influence on learning organization of civil servant at theHouse of Food and Medicine Monitoring in Pekanbaru (BBPOM di Pekanbaru).Thefactor of motivation is the most dominant factor which influence the competence of civilservants at the House of Food and Medicine Monitoring in Pekanbaru (BBPOM diPekanbaru).

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of supervision,discipline and physical work environment affect the safety and health of employees atPT. Bumi Mulia Perkasa Dumai. Population in this research is 326 employees at PT.Bumi Mulia Perkasa Dumai. While the number of samples at PT. Bumi Mulia PerkasaDumai is 77 people. The instrument used for data collection is by the Ordinal scalemodel questionnaire. To test the hypothesis used descriptive analysis and multiplelinear regression analysis.The results of data analysis show that the Supervision has asignificant and positive influence on Occupational Safety and Health, Displin has asignificant and positive influence on Occupational Health and Safety, Physical WorkEnvironment has a significant and positive influence on Occupational Health and Safetyand Supervision, Work Discipline and the Physical Work Environment together have asignificant and positive influence on Occupational Safety and Health.It is recommended this research to the leaders and agencies in making policiesconcerning supervision, discipline, physical work environment and occupational safetyand health as well as additional reference materials for other researchers who want toanalyze the same problem.
