Abstract

Technology is growing rapidly, the number of website also increase from year to year. Color is one of the important aspect in marketing, but some people not understand the important of color theory. Colorin web design can affect consumers on how they look a brand personality. Theory Young and Rubicam tell about Brand Asset Valuator (BAV) Archetypes. This valuator measures how good is a brand personality. BAV Archetypes devided in two characteristic, good and shadow. This research, examine about how important color harmony and brand personality in web design.

Abstract

This study, entitled Analysis of Factors Employee Motivation at the Department of Population and Civil Sarolangun. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the motivational factors of employees working in the Department of Population and Civil Registration Sarolangun.The method used in this peniliaan is a qualitative descriptive method, which is an existing fact or fenome field and then analyzed by the relevant theories and concepts and variables measured with Likert scale. The study sample as many as 45 people. The collection of data by distributing questionnaires. The data is processed by using a range of scales.Based on the results of the study, known Motivation Employees at the Department of Population and Civil Registration Sarolangun average scores on the indicators of employee motivation in the Department of Population and Civil Registration Sarolangun number of scores obtained amounted to 1,149, or an average of 164.1, which means entering into good motivation category.

Abstract

Strategic financial planning vary according to the stages of the business cycle, where the business cycle consists of four stages, where financial strategy planning, arranged on the business cycle, requires the role of finance director who acted as a financial expert or financial architecture which serves to prepare the company's financial fundamentals. Improved fundamental values that are in line with the increase in the value of the company can be achieved when supported by the appropriate financial strategy, which includes investment decisions and how the provision of financial resources.A failure to analyze the company's position, it can be fatal, because each stage of the business cycle requires a source and a different funding, over or lack of operational funds may result in less smooth operations of the company, which in turn result in failure to achieve the company's goal to make a profit in the short term and in the run length should be achieved return on equity and the value of the company.Companies that are growing rapidly, requiring large funds, the business strategy with the merged horizontally as a solution, because it can help synergy financially through reduced cost of capital, or more robust capital structure by increasing the assets after the merger, while the company reached a stage of maturity, the business strategy with a horizontal merger, in order to reduce competition, positive contribution can occur, if, after the merger synergy financial, managerial, production and marketing, production Synergy for example, the company is able to achieve economies of scale and cost of capital efficiency

Abstract

Entrepreneurial intention among students college still low, this is a challenge for all people including academics. Entrepreneurial education is expected to give positive stimulus to encourage entepreneurial intention among students. The aim of this study is to examine whether Adversity Quotient (AQ), attitude toward entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial education affects entrepreneurial intention. Sample for this research is to students from Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia (STIESIA) Surabaya. The linier regression analysis was used to examine the hypothesis and it was in condition supported. The result shows that attitude toward entrepreneurship influences entrepreneurial intention positively (β:0.342, p kurang dari 0.05), while entrepreneurial education has no significant effect on the entrepreneurial intention. One of the dimensions of Adversity Quotient, controls gave significant effect on entrepreneurial intention (β: 0476, p kurang dari 0.05). This indication shows that attitude toward entrepreneurship is appropriate indicators in order to encourage entepreneurial intention among students, positive attitude in entrepreneurship will increasing entrepreneurial behavior.

Abstract

Termination of employment is a termination of employment caused by workers, employers or both of them for a certain thing and resulted in the expiration of rights and obligations between workers and employee. In this journall discussed about the implementation of termination employee in PT Xwhich is a distribution company production facilities in Malang. The formulation of the problem is why the workers approved the Employment Agreement Specific Time (PKWT) orally at PT X and how the implementation of labor laws in force in Indonesia to resolve the problem Termination (PHK) which occurred in PT X. The research method in this study was using empirical juridical approach. Type and sources of data used in the primary data collection and secondary data, and analysis process was using descriptive qualitative. The efforts made by workers to obtain the rights that workers should be able to it in accordance with Law of Indonesia number 2 of 2004 on Industrial Relations Dispute Settlement and Law of Indonesia number 13 of 2003 on Manpower.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of macroeconomic indicators and global factors to IHSG period 2005-2014. Macroeconomic indicators used in this study are inflation rate, SBI rate and Exchange rate of rupiah to dollar. The global factors used include world oil price, world gold price and The Fed rate. The analytical method used in this study is multiple regression analysis performed with SPSS 18. Result from this study indicate that exchange rate of rupiah to dollar had negative effect on IHSG. World oil price had positive effect on IHSG. While the variables of inflation rate, SBI rate, world gold price and The Fed rate had no significant effect on IHSG. The value of adjusted R square is 50.2%. This means that 50.2% of IHSG movements can be predicted by the movement of the six independent variables.

Abstract

Product diversification is the company's efforts to increase sales through product diversification. Product diversification is intended to make the product last longer, leading to a product ready for consumption and use, fulfill the tastes, needs and expectations of customers, expand markets, facilitate transportation, employment, value-added, income and so forth. Necessary to diversify creativity, innovation, research, capital, promotion or marketing communication, assistance from government small and medium enterprises. But for companies that do not have a strong foundation, the diversification strategy will backfire for the company itself. Even a less innovative product diversification will be difficult to compete with competitors, the worse is the diversification of products will be consuming existing products (product cannibalism) and bring down each other.

Abstract

The current modern retail business has grown rapidly and it’s very competitive with each other. One of the means used to compete is to create a private label. With their private label, modern retail can sell their products at cheaper price than the national brand products. But consumers have different perceptions about private label products. Consumer perceptionis based on the price and quality of products.This article discusses about consumer perceptions of the quality and value for money for private label products. The conclusion of this discussion is to determine how perceptions of private label consumer products based on product’s quality and value for money.This discussion is necessary because at this time many different perceptions o fprivate label products and the necessary discussion about consumer perception study to find a clear consumer perceptions towards private label products.
