Abstract

Globalization has generated a process of capitalism of nation-state towards a very new phase. Since 1992, world has related each other in one social system through commercial and financial activities integrated in an international market. But since 1960 until now, the statement is getting more acceleration, economic activities on the world has begun a way to a new global economy. The implementation of economic activities started from the transaction of goods, services, and factors of production, and then followed by more economic integration among countries.Globalization of economy causes a dominant role of non-state economic actors with great international economic activities, called multinational corporation or (transnational corporation, TNCs). As a result, economic activities on the world are dominated by the businessmen who have internationalized their activities through expansion, exporting so many products and sales to many countries where they (the businessmen/companies) don't have loyalties to a nation-state particularly and do their investment and run their businessmen in "global" market where they can get a great number profits.Neo-Liberalisms think that by the reincreasement of free market and ideas of laisses-faire global corporation will cause organized international production and maximalization of global welfare without overproduction capacity. International communities are now growing toward over global economy and are dependent each other. They will support the welfare, international relationship, and world peace.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the accounting system of local finance in the areas of financial management regarding financial reporting areas that are implemented in Jombang by looking anilis regional financial ratios, and analyze the factors that hinder the preparation and financial reporting areas of financial management of the areas in Jombang is based on PP No. RI 24 tahun 2005 tentang Standart Akuntansi Pemerintah. 24 year 2005 regarding Government Accounting Standart. This research is a descriptive study with case study method, which describes the implementation of the regional financial system in Jombang. Data collected in the form of interviews and data analysis pendukung.Berdasarkan results of the analysis conducted in this study, the general realization of the Budget Report, the Consolidated Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, especially in its function as a regional financial statement presentation and preparation is already in the system in accordance with the provisions of praturan ie PP RI No. 24 of 2005 concerning Government Accounting Standard (SAP), but in the assessment of regional financial ratio analysis can bulum fully meet the expectations and objectives of internal control regions as expected in the current era of regional autonomy. Factors that hinder the implementation of local government financial accounting systems, especially in the preparation and financial reporting area is in terms of quality human resources and infrastructure is not adequate.

Abstract

The study examines the role of the institutional ownership, managerial ownership, board of directors, and the audit committee in preventing earnings management. All of independent variable associated with reduced levels of discretionary current accruals. They are associated with firms that have smaller discretionary current accruals. We conclude that institutional ownership, managerial ownership, board and audit committee activity may be important factors in constraining the propensity of managers to engage in earnings management.

Abstract

This research aims to arrange the competency model using performance analysis. Descriptive qualitative and FGD methode is also used in this research. The result shows that the model arrange with performance analysis, there are mission, intension, background, purpose of the TKI. This analysis can be improved the cause of this problems, and the fund the conclution. The model shows that PJTKI needs the performance improvement in their management.

Abstract

Poverty have multidimensional character. Poverty not only concern with economic, but also non-economic (social, culture and politics). One of the communities which in poverty trap is peasant. This thesis describes why peasants get poverty and what the effort of peasant to move out from poverty. Researcher observe peasant life pattern from social capital side which owned by peasant in Tretes Village. Result of this research show that social capital of peasant in Tretes Village can motivate collective action. The kinds of collective action poured into arrangement that have been done by peasant to move out from poverty trap but there are many constrains inside. Therefore, it is made compulsory indirectly governmental interference to support peasant arrangement become an action that able to move out peasant from poverty trap in Tretes Village.

Abstract

The aim of the study is to identify conditions and economic potential and local exchange systems, and check the model of micro finance institutions in accordance with local conditions syari'ah. The population in this study are all farmers of salt in 3 (three) District on the island of Madura is Sumenep districts, Pamekasan districts and Sampang districts are categorized lacquer with infinite number. Sample locations are determined by purposive sampling technique because not all villages that produce salt. The sample size of each village is determined every 10% of Head of the Family (KK). Analytical techniques used are preparticipatory rural appraisal techniques, economic auditing, social auditing (examinating local currency sistem), community and resources mapping and FGD (Focus Group Discussion). The analysis showed that the economic component that works at the local level more merchant dominant. In terms of socio-economic conditions of farmers increasingly tied to debt. Results from direct interviews with salt farmers, merchant and community leaders and village chiefs appears that the existence of institutions that could be an alternative 'institutions' which is currently expected to grow, including microfinance institutions syari'ah.
