Abstract

The maximum value obtained to test the encrypt hill cipher uses the avalanche effect with modification of one, two, three, and four key matrices 35.71%, therefore an additional security technique is needed. The Least Significant Bit (LSB) method is used to insert the ciphertext that has been generated from the hill cipher algorithm, has been testing using RGB, CMY, CMYK and YUV shapes with 6142 characters in 128 x 128 character images producing the highest PSNR value of 51.2826 dB in CMYK images. Steganography technique is applied because it has advantages in terms of imperceptibility, for example the results of a stego image are so similar to the original image that it is difficult to be distinguished by the human senses. Tests were carried out with 10 images, five images measuring 512 x 512 and five images measuring 16 x 16. While the messages to be inserted were 240, 480, and 960 characters for images measuring 512 x 512 and 24, 48 and 88 characters for images measuring 16 x16. Test results that I have done are calculated using Mean Square Error (MSE) and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) with a minimum PSNR of 51.2907 dB which means the resulting image is quite good. Computation time is calculated using tic toc on Matlab by encrypting 2000 and 6000 characters, and also computation time.

Abstract

Beauty salons and barber shop are a necessity for almost everyone. Nowadays, the business processes of them mostly still use conventional methods. The method gives obstacles to customers who have a lot of activities, for example, they have to come directly to the beauty salon or barber shop to take the queue. In addition, it is hard to promote, communicate and assess without E-CRM media. The location is also difficult to find because there is no guide mark on Google Maps. The Geographic Information System for Booking Beauty Salon and Barber Shop provides solutions for making scheduled bookings and transactions by using the e-CRM approach as in the application of promotional features to attract customers. There are some features offered in the application, such as chat features for communication, rating and review features to assess the services obtained, and route feature as a solution to show the location of selected vendors. The implementation process requires an Android smartphone and a computer device with software including Android Studio, SQLYog, XAMPP, and Visual Studio Code. The results of the implementation of the system based on the questionnaire showed 25.8% answered 'excellent', 45.7% answered 'good', 28.3% answered 'enough', and 0.2% answered 'bad'.

Abstract

Gateway elimination in a LoRa network could highly reduce the network installation cost. However, LoRa end devices could not overcome many obstacles with only a point-to-point communication. Thus, this research implemented a multi-hop communication in a LoRa network. One or more LoRa end devices are placed between the source node and the destination node to act as relay nodes. A simple routing based on the packet length is configured to determine the packet transmission path. As the results, the designed multi-hop communication could improve packet success rate until 2,47 times in indoor environment. Whereas, the optimum delay time for multi-hop communication is 100 ms for each hop to produce high PRR and lowest RTT.

Abstract

Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is a disease that is caused by dilation of the aortic wall. Dilation of the aortic wall will affect the size of the diameter of lumen and the aorta. In this study we use T1 and T2 images on 4 patients with AAA which generated from MR Imaging to calculate the diameter of the abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). To calculate the diameter of lumen and the aorta, the first step is image registration using Laplacian eigenmap method. After that we propose an automatic segmentation method on region of the aorta by using active contour models to get the contour of lumen and the aorta. The last step,  we calculate the diameter of lumen and the aorta by using contour of lumen and the aorta. In our experiment, active contour model is very good method for segmentation AAA. In the result, our proposed model give the accuracy rate of lumen is 96.41% and accuracy rate of aorta is 95.22%.

Abstract

Many irresponsible people who download other people's artwork then modify and redistribute the work of someone without permission by not including the owner's name. Based on that problem an attempt was made to provide an invisible watermark so as not to be easy to do the watermark removal process on the artwork, using a 2-level DWT and SVD combination method that can embed watermarks invisibly and increase watermarking resistance to the image from various image manipulation processes such as noise, JPEG compression, and so on. From combination method of DWT-SVD got the highest PSNR value with watermark image size 32x32 and 64x64 which is 59.2656 dB and 54.7414 dB, respectively.

Abstract

An irreducible polynomial is one of the main components in building an S-box with an algebraic technique approach. The selection of the precise irreducible polynomial will determine the quality of the S-box produced. One method for determining good S-box quality is strict avalanche criterion will be perfect if it has a value of 0.5. Unfortunately, in previous studies, the strict avalanche criterion value of the S-box produced still did not reach perfect value. In this paper, we will discuss S-box construction using selected irreducible polynomials. This selection is based on the number of elements of the least amount of irreducible polynomials that make it easier to construct S-box construction. There are 17 irreducible polynomials that meet these criteria. The strict avalanche criterion test results show that the irreducible polynomial p17(x) =x8 + x7 + x6 + x + 1 is the best with a perfect SAC value of 0.5. One indicator that a robust S-box is an ideal strict avalanche criterion value of 0.5

Abstract

A Pineapple (Ananas comosus (L.) Merr.) It is one of the leading commodities in the Indonesian horticultural sub-sector. Based on data from PDSIP in the last 5 years the development of pineapple production has increased but not too high as well as the harvested area. One of the areas that cultivate pineapple plants in Riau Province is Kampar Regency. Its production in 2015 was 8,482 tons, down from 20,046 tons in 2013. However, this amount is not optimal considering the area in Kampar Regency is still large enough for pineapple cultivation. Kampar District has a potential peatland of around 191,363 ha. About half of the area is thin peat, while the rest varies from moderate to deep peat. The success or failure of peatland management for cultivated land is highly dependent on the condition of its characteristics and the mastery and scientific understanding of the character of peat. This shows the need to evaluate the carrying capacity of land-based on its suitability so that it can be used as a guide in wise land-use planning. This study aims to create a fuzzy inference system model with Mamdani method in determining the agroecological suitability of peatlands for pineapple plants, this is due to the target class of land suitability parameters based on FAO provisions, namely S1, S2, S3, and N. Based on the obtained model, decision support systems will be developed for the suitability of peatland agroecology for pineapple plants.

Abstract

The myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) are clonal hematopoietic stem cell disorders characterized by dysregulated proliferation and expansion of one or more of the myeloid lineages. The initial symptoms of MPN is a bone marrow abnormalities when producing red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets in large numbers and uncontrolled. An automatic and accurate white blood cell abnormality classification system is needed. This research uses digital image processing techniques such as conversion to the modified CIELab color space, segmentation techniques based on threshold values and feature extraction processes that produce four morphological features consisting of area, perimeter, metric and compactness. then the four features become input to the K-Nearest Neighborr (KNN) method. The testing process is based on variations in the value of K to get the best accuracy percentage of 94.3% tested on 159 test data.

Abstract

Researches on the implementation of information technology in Balinese culture and Hindu religion are still relatively rare, because Balinese culture is often perceived as “old fashioned” compared to information technology as something modern. In Hinduism, Yadnya ceremony is a religious ceremony when Hindus expressed gratitude to God, to fellow humans, to the resi, (priest/teacher), to the ancestors, and to Bhuta Kala. The implementation of Yadnya is usually accompanied with bebantenan (offerings) or upakara. Nowadays there are many Hindus, especially the younger generation who do not understand about bebantenan and Yadnya ceremony themselves. This is because information about bebantenan and Yadnya ceremony is relatively difficult to obtain. This paper proposes a multimedia based E-Upakara system or Bebantenan Information System that is a part of E-UpacaraYadnya System. Tree data structure is used to model the informations about data contained in bebantenan, and to illustrare the relations between bebantenan and Yadnya. The system can provide information related to the Yadnya ceremony such as the time the ceremony is held, the ceremony procedures, the bebantenan used during the ceremony, procedures of making bebantenan, videos, and pictures of banten.
