<![CDATA[Every human being has potencies that needs to be empowered, which is the element of earth, fire, water, and air. Basically these elements consist of two aspects, namely, inner aspects what we called the soul and outer aspects that is the body. Elements of the inner aspects which are water, fire and air, while an element of the outer aspect is land. To process the four elements, it’s required struggle and continuous training so that it could benefit themselves, especially in the implementation of worship, as well as beneficial to others.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aimed to develop a training design to increase self-efficacy on negotiation for students of vocational school. Research subjects were 18 students of the SMK 1 Bandung class of 2011 marketing majoring. The design of the training program was conceived and developed with reference to the strength aspect of self-efficacy and negotiation, by applying the model of experiential learning. The training material organized into two main activities to improve selfefficacy in negotiation namely our business and making a profit. The effectiveness of the training is measured by the increase of self-efficacy category by using an instrument on negotiation selfefficacy, behavioral observation and evaluation of training. This study used a quasi-experimental method with the untreated control group pretest and posttest sample dependent design. T-Test results showed there’s no significant improvement in the category of self-efficacy negotiations after the training program. Quantitatively and observations during training showed an increase in self-efficacy negotiation in aspects of communication, strategy and relationships, as well as a decrease in the emotional aspects among training participants.]]>

The tribe of Dayak Losarang in Indramayu district is one of unique custom that located in urban area. Their uniqueness is including how to dress, how to communicate, how to worship and make sense of life. Push factors and pull factors that make them survive in indigenous communities are some rituals which are: a) kungkum, b) pepe, c) ngaula ning anak rabbi, d) ruatan putri keraton, e) pemurnian diri (self-purification), and f) Kliwon Friday night.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this study as a preliminary study in developing the exercises to improve reading fluency of students grade 1of Primary School (SD). The study used a quasi- experimental method with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects were seven students in 1st grade, with age 7-8 years old, which consists of four students as an experimental group that received exercises of pronunciation as much as six times with a duration of 30-40 minutes and three students as a control group. Data on reading fluency obtained by measuring the average score of subject’s reading ability within one minute. Measuring instrument used was a single paragraph which consists of a series of words / syllables that need to be mastered by children aged 7 years old. In this exercise the students practice for using their speech muscles suit the phonetic rules, so that the resulting pronunciation becomes more precise. The results showed that in the control group there was no increase reading fluency, while in the experimental group there was three student has increased their reading fluency but not to the another one. However, there were changing in the aspects of speed and accuracy among all subjects who received the pronunciation exercises.]]>

<![CDATA[The phenomenon of error in choosing courses are still quite common among college students and had impact on the low of learning achievement, a long process of study completion, and in the further is the lack of absorption of graduates in the work field. The aim of this study was to obtain empirical description about: personality type, the fit between personality type with a choice of courses, gender differences in terms of suitability factor personality type with a choice of courses as well as the achievements of the appropriate classification of personality types. This descriptive study used sample of students of the Faculty of Psychology class of 2012/2013 UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung numbered 144 students. Measurement of the personality type had used Holland’s personality inventory. The study results showed that: 1) the majority of students (70.17%) had a personality type that is incompatible with the psychology courses, 2) gender factors has influence the choice of study program, 3) The fit between personality type along with a choice of courses have effect on the acquisition of a better performance]]>

<![CDATA[Basically each person has different character strength in achieving the goal expected. The character strength becomes a typical structure of an individual's personality that distinguishes itself from the others. Individuals with high achievement motivation will attempt to set a specific goal, using some strategic measurements, highly will-power, and always worked hard. This study aimed to explore the character strength of students who are excellence in academic. The method used mix method which are combine both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The numbers of subjects in this study were 30 students from 9 faculties in UIN Sunan Gunung Djati whom selected based on the highest GPA score. The character strength had seen from the individually measurements results of the Values in Action-Inventory strenghts (VIA-IS) which consists of 240 items in the form of scale Likert. Interviews with subjects than have been conducted to gained more information related to the character strength of them. The results has showed that a strength of character typical of the outstanding students, namely Hope, Perseverance, and Spirituality.]]>

<![CDATA[The core issues have been examined in this study including the relationships of the teacher’s involvement in decision making, interpersonal communication, and work motivation of the BPKB teachers in Gorontalo Province. This study used survey method with correlation techniques. The sample was the whole population of the 47 teachers by using total sampling or sample saturated. Based on the analysis of data concluded results namely 1) there is a positive relationship between teacher’s involvements in decision-making with the work motivation. 2) There is a positive relationship between interpersonal communication and the work motivation of teachers, 3) There is a positive relationship between involvement in decision-making and interpersonal communication simultaneously on the work motivation of teachers. These results indicated that the higher of teachers’ involvement in decision-making and interpersonal communication, the work motivation is increasing.]]>

<![CDATA[Academic procrastination particularly happens to college students who are working on their thesis is assumed to be influenced by the attitude of their perfectionism. The purpose of this study is to determine how perfectionism has influence on the academic procrastination of the students who are doing thesis at the Faculty of Psychology UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The study had conducted on the population of students who are working on a thesis in total 38 people. The design used was a non-experimental design with causality method. Measuring instruments used the Almost Perfect Scale Revised from Snaley (1992) and Procrastination Student Assessment Scale developed by Solomon and Rothblum (1984) with some adaptations. Technical analysis of the data using simple regression analysis with the result that the determination coefficient of influence perfectionism to academic procrastination is R2 = 0.065. The results of the t test, t = 1.582 < table = 1.684, so it can be concluded that there is no significant effect of perfectionism to the academic procrastination of students who are working on a thesis.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aimed to obtaining empirical data on relationship between future orientations of working area with achievement motivation among student of psychology faculty UIN SGD Bandung class of 2001. Research design was a correlational study. The result shown there was a positive correlations between future orientation of working area and achievement motivation. It means that student who optimism on future orientation of working area so their achievement motivation increasing, in reverse, if student future orientation working area pessimism so their achievement motivation decreasing.]]>
