Abstract

Pengharum ruangan mengandung subtansi berbahaya seperti phtalate dan formaldehid yang dapat mengganggu sistem reproduksi. Pthalate dan formaldehid sebagai radikal bebas berpengaruh terhadap ekspresi gen, produksi steroid hormon, gangguan sel Leydig, penurunan fungsi sel Sertoli, dan berkurangmya ekspresi reseptor pada sel-sel sistem reproduksi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental laboratorium dengan post-test only group design. Subjek penelitian adalah 18 tikus (Rattus norvegicus) yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok (gel (G), spray (S) dan kontrol (K)). Perlakuan dilakukan selama 30 hari. Hari ke-31 dilakukan pembedahan untuk pengambilan organ testis dan perhitungan konsentrasi sperma. Organ dibuat preparat dengan pengecatan Hematoxilin Eosin, dilanjutkan dengan pengukuran diameter tubulus seminiferus di bawah mikroskop, lalu data diuji statistik dengan One-Way ANOVA. Hasil uji statistik dengan One-Way ANOVA menunjukkan perbedaan diameter tubulus seminiferus yang bermakna pada setiap kelompok uji (p<0,05) dengan hasil kelompok gel berdiameter paling kecil. Hasil uji One-Way ANOVA konsentrasi sperma tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang bermakna (p>0,05) akan tetapi kelompok gel menunjukkan konsentrasi sperma yang paling kecil. Disimpulkan bahwa pendedahan pengharum ruangan dapat mempengaruhi diameter tubulus seminiferus. Air Freshener contains harmful substances witch can disrupt the reproductive system such as formaldehyde and phthalate. Phthalate and formaldehyde as free radicals influence the gene expression, the production of steroid hormones, disturb Leydig cell, degeneration of Sertoli cell fuctions, and the expression of receptors on cells of the reproductive system is reduced. The aims of this study is to determined the effects of air freshener gels and spay exposure to the seminiferous tubules diameter and the concentration of sperm in rat. This research   is pure experimental laboratory approach with post-test only group design. Objects of this study were 18 white rats and it was divided into three groups (gel group (G), spray (S) and control (K)). The treatment carried out for 30 days with controled feed and condition of experimentals animals. We conduct surgery to got the diameter of the seminiferous tubules and sperm concentration in 31th day, and the data were formulate statistically by One-Way ANOVA. Statistical tests resulted significant comparison of seminiferous tubules diameter on each test group (p <0.05). In the statistical test of sperm concentration it hadn’t showed differences significanly (p> 0.05). It can be concluded that exposure to fragrances can affect indoor diameter of the seminiferous tubules.

Abstract

Jumlah populasi di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan yang sangat signifikan setiap tahunnya. Pemerintah membuat kebijakan mengenai perencanaan keluarga atau yang disebut dengan Keluarga Berencana (KB) untuk menanggulangi jumlah penduduk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan kecepatan kembalinya siklus menstruasi normal pada akseptor injeksi progestogen dan akseptor IUD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik menggunakan desain cross sectional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara pada 81 akseptor IUD dan 81 akseptor injeksi progestogen 3 bulanan di Puskesmas Kedungwuni I Kabupaten Pekalongan. Setiap ibu diberi pertanyaan yang sama mengenai identitas diri, metode KB yang digunakan, tahun awal pemakaian metode tersebut, lama pemakaian, siklus menstruasi pasca penghentian metode KB dan parietas. Analisis data menggunakan independent T test. Selain itu, sebagai data sekunder, peneliti juga mencari pengaruh antara lama pemakaian dengan kembalinya siklus menstruasi pada masing-masing metode KB dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kembalinya siklus menstruasi normal pada akseptor IUD lebih cepat 3 bulan dibandingkan dengan akseptor injeksi progestogen (P=0.000; CI=95%) dengan waktu kembali rata-rata 1.02±0.16 bulan. Rata-rata waktu kembalinya siklus menstruasi normal pada akseptor injeksi progestogen adalah 7.43±3.73 bulan. Disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh lama pemakaian dengan kecepatan kembalinya siklus menstruasi pada akseptor injeksi progestogen dan akseptor IUD. The amount of Indonesia population is getting significantly increase every year. The government made a policy about family planning or Keluarga Berencana (KB) to overcome the population. This research aims to know the comparison normal menstruation cycle return in progestogen injection acceptor and IUD’s acceptor. This is a descriptive analysis research with cross sectional design by doing an interview with 81 IUD’s acceptors and 81 progestogen injection’s acceptors in work area of Puskesmas Kedungwuni I Pekalongan regency. Every acceptor was given the same questions such as identity, contraceptive method, year when she start using that method, the duration of use, her normal menstruation cycle after stop the method, and parity. The data analyzed using independent T test. In addition, as secondary result, researcher also looking for the impact of duration of use and the return of normal menstruation cycle in both of the method by using bivariate Pearson correlation. The result showed that the return of normal menstruation cycle of IUD’s acceptors is faster than progestogen injection’s acceptor (P=0.000; CI=95%) with 1.02±0.16 month on an average, and 7.43±3.73 months in progestogen injection’s acceptors. It can concluded that duration of use has no impact on return of normal menstruation cycle in progestogen injection acceptor and IUD’s acceptor.

Abstract

Oksigen berperan penting dalam proses metabolisme tubuh. Kekurangan oksigen menyebabkan metabolisme berlangsung tidak sempurna. Hipoksia merangsang sistem hematologi dan sirkulasi untuk meningkatkan fungsi oksigenasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh lama hipoksia terhadap angka eritrosit dan kadar hemoglobin Rattus norvegicus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental, pre and post control group design. Perlakuan hipoksia menggunakan modifikasi hypoxia chamber dengan pemberian kadar oksigen sebesar 10% dari total volume kandang. Pengukuran eritrosit menggunakan manual haemositometer dan hemoglobin menggunakan spektrofotometer. Analisis data menggunakan uji T test dan oneway anova, Kruskall Wallis dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil rerata ± SD hemoglobin (gr/dl) dari seluruh kelompok kontrol, 12, 24 dan 36 jam hipoksia sebelum dan sesudah secara berturut-turut yakni 10,89 ± 0,755 dan 8,74 ± 0,762. Hasil rerata ± SD eritrosit (juta/¼l) seluruh kelompok kontrol, 12, 24 dan 36 jam sebelum dan sesudah yakni 5,63 ± 0,74 dan 4,19 ± 0,523. Hasil Uji T-test hemoglobin dari kelompok kontrol, 12, 24 dan 36 jam hipoksia secara berturut-turut dengan nilai  p = 0,227, p = 0,492, p = 0,000, p = 0,000 dan hasil uji T-test eritrosit dari kelompok kontrol, 12, 24, 36 jam hipoksia secara berturut-turut dengan nilai p = 0,004, p = 0,243, p = 0,001, p = 0,003. Hasil oneway anova kadar hb (p = 0,000)  dan hasil Kruskall Wallis angka eritrosit (p = 0,018). Disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan angka eritrosit dan kadar hemoglobin pada perlakuan 12 jam dan penurunan pada perlakuan 24 dan 36 jam hipoksia pada Rattus norvegicus. Oxygen have an important role in body metabolism. Lack of oxygen caused uncomplete metabolism. Hypoxia can stimulate the circulatory system and hematology to improve oxygenation function. This research purpose to knows effect of hypoxia duration to the erythrocyte and hemoglobin on Rattus norvegicus. This is experimental research, pre and post control group design. Hypoxia condition made from modification of hypoxia chamber with 10% oxygen level from total volume of chamber. Measuring of erythrocyte used manual hemocytometer and the hemoglobin use spektrofotometer. Data analysis used T test and oneway anova, Kruskall Wallis with CI 95 %. The result from all of group control, 12, 24 and 36 hour pre and post hemoglobin median ± SD (gr/dl) were 10,89 ± 0,755 and 8,74 ± 0 ,762 and median ± SD of erythrocyte (106/ ¼l) were 5,63 ± 0,74 and 4,19 ± 0,523. The result T test showed the correlation of pre and post hemoglobin from control, 12, 24, and 36 hour duration hypoxia were p = 0,227, p = 0,492, p = 0,000, p = 0,000 and the erythrocyte from control, 12, 24, and 36 hour duration hypoxia were p = 0,004 , p =  0,243, p = 0,001, p = 0,003. Result from Oneway anova from haemoglobin (p = 0,000) and result of Kruskall Wallis from erythrocyte (p = 0,018). It can concluded that there is increasing erythrocyte and hemoglobin on 12 hour and decreasing on 24 and 36 hour hypoxia on Rattus norvegicus.
