Belum ada aturan yang baku tentang fertilitas dan keluarga berencana pada tulisan ini dibuat seringkas mungkin dengan tidak meninggalkan topik inti yang terkandung dalam sumber aslinya. Buku atau reference yang digunakan untuk menyusun bibliografi ini merupakan koleksi Perpustakaan Pusat Penelitian Kependudukan Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta. Anotasi yang terkandung berkisar pada upaya untuk menurunkan tingkat dan memacu keberhasilan keluarga berencana di Indonesia. Abstract

In 2007, a series of landslides occurred at Tawangmangu, resulting in the collapse of several houses and the death of dozens of people. One essential pathway to reduce the vulnerability of communities goes through an increased preparedness. The present contribution aims to determine existing level of preparedness by analysing the people perception and knowledgeof landslides. Survey method with random sampling technique was applied to assess the level of people perception and to analysis local people knowledge regarding with landslide. The number of respondents was spread proportionally across five sub-villages; Plalar, Guyon, Sodong, Salere and Ngledoksari. The respondents were interviewed using questionnaires with open and closed questions. Statistical analysis with multiple linear regressions was applied to identify the influencing factors of local people perception related to landside. The result show that people in the area have good knowledge and perception about landslide. This condition is commonly influenced by age and education.

Abstract

There are two objectives of this researh. First, to identify and analyze the condition of ground water quality in the research area, and second to determined the chemial types of groundwater. To ahieve these objectives 59 groundwater samples were taken stratifiedly, base on the different of electrical conductance value. As a result, it is identified that most groundwater in the research area is not suitable for drinking water sources, because has high concentration of electrical conductance, turbidity, hardness, chloride, manganese, and salinity. Thiis conclusion is also supported by stiff diagram analysis. The result of Stuyfzand analysis shhows that the chemical types of groundwater is very variative. Groundwater in coastal areas has higher suply of saline water than fresh water.

Abstract

Yogyakarta city principally be able to develop as an urban tourism. The international altraction i.e. Malioboro has been growth over the world, and being the first nesessary objet for paying attention beside the other tourism object as an old Cina building, old Europe building, and Javanese traditional houses also classical Javanese musi (gamelan) and dancing, and not to be forgotten is the special various Javanese food (gastronomi). The serious problems up till now exist is city transportation specially tourism transportation not supporting efficienly and also nicely mode for getting all potential city tourism location. Uplevelling rural tourism (rural – urban) potential more or less was still forgetted, so the socio economic, value losses by feelingness way. In the near future programme and planning for supporting the Yogyakarta City to the urban tourism is very strategic and very importance especially develop the tourism attraction object as well as seriously by linking all urban activities tourism to rural area tourism at the surrounding Yogyakarta special teritorry. Rural urban linkages model will be the nicely tool, with more special attention to all attraction potential tourism object are develop who supported the local rural people and special policy programme.

Abstract

This article concern with the impact of the fishery ‘karamba’ system on socio-economics of fishermen in the Rawa Pening Environs. The aim of the study is to appraise the activities of fishery ‘karamba’ system. In the relationship with loccal fishermen income, and labor force employment. To some extent, the research is directed to study on income differentation based on job status as fishermen and ‘karamba’ farmers. Differentation of tools kinds for fishing, and seasonal variation. Survey method is employed in this research, whether it is for karamba farmer or local fishermen. Respondent number about 187 consists of 139 fishermen, 28 ‘karamba’ labors, and 20 ‘karamba’ farmers. Technical of tabulation and ‘t’ test statistical use for data analysis.The research shows that fishery ‘karamba’ system so much decreases on the activities, number of facilities, and it fish production. Decreasing of those are mainly caused by uncontrolled growth of ‘eceng gondok’ (Eichornia crassipes), capital constrain, and security constraint especially stealing of fish production. The existing of fishery ‘karamba’ system employs 68,00% labors are local fishermen, and 32,00% are not fishermen come from other areas. Viewed by the job opportunities most of part contribute ‘karamba’ farmers (55%) who ome from out of the area, and 45% ‘karamba’ farmer are local people. Really affect of the fishery ‘karamba’ system to the local fishermen is decreasing of fish production. Fish production of local fishermen has been lower since fishery ‘karamba’ system be carried out in this lake. Though the fish production of fishery ‘karamba’ system decreases, however income average of the ‘karamba’ farmer is higher (Rp 1,849,000/annum) than the income average of local fishermen. The average of fishermen income who using fish grasper is higher (Rp 1,401,000/annum) than the average of fishermen income who using fish trap (Rp 1,21,000/unnum) and who using fish grasper and fish trap (Rp 1,349,000/annum). Nevertheless the average of fishermen’s income is higher than ‘karamba’s’ labor (Rp 897,000). This research is also finding wether it is average production or income of the ‘karamba’ farmer are not seasonal, and those are quite difference with local fishermen. The average of fish production on dry season (825 kg) are higher than on wet season (625 kg). Therefore, the average of income on dry season are higher than that on wet season.

Abstract

Development is a certain coveted by all people in which included the natural resource development of living members, because a large part of human necessity is supplied by the natural resource. Thus, the more population the more necessities of the natural resource consumed. Natural resource availability is limited while the development is in progress. In such condition the resource is getting decrease and finally destroyed, unless we develop its and make a provision in replacement. Acording to what  is said by, it is needed a human knowledge about environmental concept of living members in order that in the desired development realization an environmental conservation will be protected permanently.

Abstract

Selo, a small agricultural-based village in Boyolali, Central-Java, Indonesia has initiated small-scale rural biogas adoption as it presumably reduces the consumption of LPG, firewood, chemical fertilizer and (women’s) overall workload, which especially suitable due to the relatively high use of cattle in that area As environmental problems such as global warming from fossil fuel consumption and land degradation from deforestation and overuse of chemical fertilizers, and socio-economic problems as gender empowerment and self-sufficiency are becoming more pressing, it is useful to analyse the benefits of biogas as an alternative renewable energy technology (RET) provision in rural areas. This paper aims to assess the benefits of rural biogas adoption from an economic perspective, through calculating the direct and indirect benefits obtained from biogas adoption in Selo. For this, a field survey was carried out in Selo to ask questions to biogas users (N=21) and non-users (N=5) on their energy and fertilizer consumption, as well as emissions reductions resulting from biogas adoption. Based on the analysis, oon average, a household with biogas saves 490 kWh month–1, 20,000 IDR month–1,185 kg CO2e month–1.Chemical fertilizer consumption remains remarkably high, which may due to a lack of awareness on the potential of digester slurry by the farmers, for indeed, reduction of chemical fertilizer use would help address some environmental problems. Biogas quality of one household has also been determined by comparing its heating value to that of methane; the methane percentage (MP) was approximately 31%. The quality is considerably lower than expected from the literature (i.e. around 60%), which may be due to the farmers neither mixing nor supplying water to the dung. Trainings providing methods for improving digester overall effectiveness to particularly the women-folk may enhance digester management and thus biogas production, as they form the main primary operatives. Despite the room for improvement, the existing results clearly show that biogas adoption significantly reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, household energy costs, workload, improves environmental conditions and generates income through carbon credit exchange. Therefore, under the notions of sustainable development, environmental preservation and self-sufficiency, policy makers and NGOs should expedite their support in biogas development, e.g. by providing subsidies and awareness raising.

Abstract

This research aimed at designing the model of land cover changes in 1990 and 2014, and estimating carbon stock changes in each land cover in Leuser Ecosystem Area (LEA). The spatial model of land cover changes was analyzed by interpreting Landsat 5 TM imagery in 1990 and Landsat 7 ETM+ imagery in 2014 with ERDAS 9.1 and Land Change Modeller (LCM) in Idrisi TerrSet v.18. The analysis of land area changes (ha) in each land cover from 1990 to 2014 used ERDAS 9.1 with tools Interpreter (GIS Analysis-Matrix). Systematic survey method was employed in order to analyze carbon stocks. The sampling technique was stratified purposive composite sampling which used plot technique. The estimate of tree biomass used allometric equation. The estimate of carbon stocks in each land cover in 1990 was measured based on the total of carbon stocks in 2014 which was conversed with the areas of each land cover in 1990. Spatial model of land cover changes in LEA in 1990-2014 showed the changes of area in each land cover which caused the changes of carbon stocks in each land cover as well.

Abstract

Geothermal energy activities are allegedly disturbing Kamojang Nature Reserve by clearing the forest. Actually, the national park according to the Law No. 41 of 1999, must not jeopardize the preservation of germplasm in it. Meanwhile, the utilization of geothermal power plant in the area is also required to meet the electricity demand in Indonesia. Land clearing as one of the activity of exploration and exploitation of geothermal coupled with the increasing of human’s activity inside the forest caused widespread deforestation. Since there is a geothermal energy project inside the Kamojang Nature Reserve, then the aim of this study is to analysis the land cover change at Kamojang Nature Reserve from year 2000 until 2011. The research showed that the type of land cover was dominated by forest for about 4231.3 ha with forest cover percentage around 51.17%. Aside of that, the land cover change caused by exploration and exploitation of Pertamina Geothermal Energy was 60.2 ha (8.90 %), while the changes caused by human activities was 614.46 ha (91.10 %). Based on these results, replanting had been done to overcome the worse effect from each activities. The extent of reforestation and enrichment conducted by PGE was 680.58 ha by involving the society who live in surrounding area.

Abstract

The study aims is to define bathymetry based on General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans (GEBCO) and Nautical Map using GIS technique. The methods used in this study are the kriging method which combines the spatial correlation among the data using GIS and Remote Sensing software. The result shows that bathymetry at research area can be divided into five classes, these are: (1) 0-2 meter with area of 1.797,61 hectare, (2) 2-5 meter with area of 2.059,06 hectare, (3) 5-10 meter with area of 1.184,02 hectare, (4) 10-25 meter with area of 3.025.00 hectare, (5) 25-200 meter with area of 5.648.62 hectare.The spatial pattern of bathymetry dispersed from the shallow water at the edge of beach and more deep at the offshore, except at the eastern side of Wangi-Wangi island which has barrier reef and created basin between them.
