Ada banyak tahap yang harus dikerjakan dalam program perencanaan pemungkinan transmigrasi. Tahap awal dari kegiatan ini adalah menentukan area untuk lokasi transmigrasi. Informasi fisik area terse but dapat diperoleh dari data penginderaan jauh, baik citra satelit maupun foto udara. Tidak semua tahap dalam kegiatan ini memerlukan data bantu foto udara. Tahap yang memerlukan data bantu foto udara adalah tahap: perencanaan jangka panjang, perencanaan jangka menengah, "SKPT" dan "RTKIM".

Abstract

To support reforestation activities, spatially forestry data are inexorably needed to support the activities. By using multi –temporally data, reforestation activities an be identified and detected. To accomplish the purpose, this research uses Landsat TM data aquired in 1990 and 1995. Remotely sensed data and Geographyc Information System (GIS) are methods that can be applied to gather, monitor as well as analyse data swiftly and accurately. This research uses remotely sensed data to collect land cover features in given area. Geographyc information System is used to capture and to analyse reforestation data. The expected is GIS based forest management strategy making.

Abstract

The development of tourist attractions is now highly influenced by social media. The speed at which information can be disseminated via the Internet has become an essential factor in enabling distinct tourist attractions to potentially gain high popularity in a relatively short time. This condition was not as prevalent several years ago when tourism promotion remained limited to a certain kind of media. As a consequence, rapid change in the relative popularity of tourist attractions is inevitable. Against this, knowledge of tourist attraction hotspots is essential in tourism management. This means there is a need to study how to both quickly determine the popularity level of tourist attractions and encompass a relatively large area. This article utilised tweet data from microblogging website Twitter as the basis from which to determine the popularity level of a tourist attraction. Data mining was conducted using Python and the Tweepy module. The tweet data were collected at the end of April and early May 2017, at times when there are several long holiday weekends. A Tweet Proximity Index (TPI) was used to calculate both the density and frequency of tweets based on a defined search radius. A Density Index (DI) was also used as a technique for determining the popularity. The results from both approaches were then compared to a random survey about people’s perceptions of tourist attractions in the study area. The result shows that geotagged tweet data can be used to determine the popularity of a tourist attraction, although it still only achieved a medium level of accuracy. The TPI approach used in this study produced an accuracy of 76.47%, while the DI achieved only 58.82%. This medium accuracy does indicate that the two approaches are not yet strong enough to be used for decision-making but should be more than adequate as an initial description. Further, it is necessary to improve the method of indexing and the exploration of other aspects of Twitter data.

Abstract

The problem due to differential terrain illumination on satellite imagery is experienced by most of areas which are on mountainous terrain. This may cause variations in reflectance of similar ground features which lead to a misclassification of land cover classes due to different topographic positions. This phenomenon most commonly occurred in the areas which are located on southern and northern hemisphere because of the low sun inclination. This problem has been a major interest for researchers to be solved prior to the land cover classification process. For satellite images which experience this kind of problem, topographic correction need to be applied in order to reduce the illumination effects prior to land cover classification process. This research is aimed at conducting topographic correction of multi spectral SPOT satellite data as well as evaluating the three topographic correction methods. They are Cosine which is based on Lambertian reflectance assumption, as well as Minnaert correction and C correction methods which are based on non-Lambertian reflectance assumption. The data used in this study are two scenes of SPOT images of forested mountainous area of Miyazaki Prefecture, Kyushu, Japan. Research steps had been conducted in this study including geometric correction, sample data collection for calculating Minnaert constants and C constants at location which represents the whole study area, topographic correction for two scenes SPOT images, and results analysis. The results show that Cosine method did not show good performance for the study area which is topographically dominated by rugged terrain. Whereas Minnaert method and C method gave satisfactory results as is indicated by the statistical data as well as visual interpretation. However the Minnaert correction method showed slightly better performance than the C correction method.

Abstract

The study was conducted at some watersheds (Temon, Wuryantoro, Alang, and Keduang sub Watersheds), in Wonogiri District. These four sub Watersheds are Main River whose outlets go into Wonogiri Dam. The study will calculate of water availability and the need of water for various uses at four sub Watersheds. The Thornwaite and Mather method was used to calculate the of water availability. The results indicate that : (1) The water availability at Temon Sub Watershed) 35.435.875 m³ and the need of water per year sebesar 51.053.247 m³, the water minus 30,59% per year; (2) The water availability per year Wuryantoro sub Watershed 17.788.417 m³ and the need of water per year 22.413.430 m³, the water minus 20,64% per year; (3) The water availability per year at Alang sub Watershed 31.372.317 m³ per year and the need of water per year 69.566.500 m³, the water minus 54,90% per year; (4) The water availability per year geological at Keduang sub Watershed 438.527.889 m³ and the need of water per year 452.611.219 m³, the water minus 3,11% per year; (5). Watershed having condition needs improvement especially an effective water resourcesplan, allocating, and distributing of water according to priority establishment, e.g., water pond, revegetation with low evapotranspiration potential, developing infiltration well, protecting water spring from disconcerting, and construction of water reservoir.

Abstract

To comprehend the factors which influence on the juvenile water, it needs paying attention to the rocks permeability, the thickness of the aeration zone, the type of the material composition and the depth of the ground water. The grade of the ground water quality, both ground water in general and juvenile water in the urban, is dependent upon the natural physical, man made physical, and the condition of the local inhabitant besides the another factors. The influence grade of the factors are undersirable yet because among of them there are cross-linkages. The linkage of the ground water quality condition, besides another factor, inconfirmed by the inhabitant and the settelement. The aspect of the man made physical, both sanitation condition and the population density with their activity effect i.e. sewage by product, should fully determine the ground water quality. There is a closed connection between the juvenile water quality and the settlement condition, mainly, in the case is the domestic sewage disposal. It is estimated that the unit of settlement associates with the grade of the juvenile water quality. Some of the variabilities which are desirable to sustain the settlement condition and constitutes the influence variability i.e. the density of the population and buildings, and the condition of the drainage system for sewage.

Abstract

Kampung is a mixed formal and informal settlements which has a long history. Kampung has always been occupied by millions of in Indonesia. Kampung shows its capacity to integrate formal and informal activities both within the kampung itself and activities at city level. This research try to explore Kampung Pahandut, Central Kalimantan Province, Indonesia as a case study of embryo settlement close to the river. The objective of this research is to describe of formal and informal in formal and informal activities within Kampung Pahandut. This research attempt to study the pattern and the forms of socio-economic integration of the community. This research applies mixed method (qualitative and quantitative) through field observation as a step to find the integration of formal and informal activity in Kampung. Data collection is primarily to record both social and economic activities since field observation records physical appearances of infrastructure. In addition, this Kampung research was also conducted through in-depth interview to explore information from the selected resource persons. This research approves that Kampung, in the case of Kampung Pahandut, is not separated both physical and social from the city of Palangka Raya. It is reveal that internal social activity of  Kampung are able to maintain ‘gotong-royong’ and external social activity showed by ‘green kampung’. Kampung Pahandut is a part of the Palangka Raya city government by kampung improvement program. It means integration through physical and social activities shows that kampungs are not isolation settlements. Kampung has its significant contributions to the social and physical of the Palangka Raya city. It is as proven by formal and informal activities of Kampung Pahandut which is found to be fully integrated to the city of Palangka Raya.

Abstract

The Bogowonto Hulu sub-watershed has high flooding potential, especially during the rainy season. This flooding causes physical, social, and economic losses for the local community and so the Bener Dam was built to reduce the volume of flooding in the area. This research aims to find out the effectiveness of the Bener Dam in overcoming the problem of flooding around the Bogowonto Hulu sub-watershed. The effectiveness of dams can be analysed by comparing the volume of the dam reservoir with the peak discharge amount generated. The value of peak discharge can be obtained using remote-sensing data and mathematical calculations following the rational method. Using this method, the estimated peak discharge value obtained for the watershed was 302.3 m3/s while the value of dam capacity was only 210 m3/s, giving 92.3 m3/s of flooding potential. It is necessary to reduce the potential for flooding by building an IR reservoir in the catchment area, so that rainwater is accommodated rather than being immediately depleted, and to reduce concentration time.

Abstract

Apparently, the policy of raise poverly in Indonesia start to change. In PJPT I, the strategy to raise the poverly acupied the position “Side stream of development” only. That is, the effort to raise the poverly only applied the components of macro economic policy to maintain the growth of the economy in high position. In PJPT II this effort occupy the position “main stream of development”. That is, not only does the effort depend on “trickle down effect’, but also through direct attack that concern to destitude people. The poverly phenomenon is complex problem and multidimensional, that’s not merely concern with welfare aspect (materially). Therefore, in order to the raising of poverly run effectively, we have to look the dimension of poverly as a whole. Complexity of poverly problems vary from place to place. Therefore, it is needed an accurate strategy and it must consider the characteristic of poverly and the potency that suitable to be developed.

Abstract

Pedogeomorphology tipology was applied in this research to determine the occurrence of landslide in the Menoreh Mountains, Kulonprogo District, Yogyakarta Special Region. The research aimed to know (1) soil characteristics where landslide events occurred in the research area, (2) characteristic of landslide prone landform in the research area, and (3) typology pedogeomorphic of landslide events in the research area. Pedogeomorphologic approach was represented through the steps of mapping the occurrence of landslides and landform, soil profile pedogenitic analysis and geomorphologic analysis at the point of occurrence of landslide. The results show that landforms characteristic on the occurrence of landslide with slope 16-75%, elevation 210-807 m dpal, weathered zone depth 25-80 cm, and the position of contacts on the opposite slope is flat and parallel. The soil characteristics on the occurrences of landslides have a 20-186 cm soil depts with the content 21,50-95,00% of caolinite clay, and clay content ratio between horion A dan B 0,22-0,91. Pedogeomorphic typology landslides prone classified into 3 levels, namely: low, moderate, and high level of vulnerability. The low level are indicated by the thickness of soil depth 0,60, slope 25%, elevation 120 cm, caolinite clay content 70%, clay content ratio of A and B horizon 0,40, slope 60%, elevation 600 m dpal, the depth of weathered zone 60 cm, and the position of field contact against the slopes is parallel.
