Abstract

BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is a public legal entity based on Law No. 24 of 2011 which is given a mandate by the Government to provide social security protection for all workers in Indonesia. This study aims to find out and improve the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan strategy based on service quality issues. The methodology used in this study using quantitative methods by measuring the service quality gap model to determine the expectations of participants and the ability of the organization to provide services. Secondary data analysis was from company-internal data and literature studies to assess various analysis using methods; such as environmental analysis, SWOT, and TOWS Matrix. The strategy to be implemented is the differentiation strategy. BPJS Ketenagakerjaan needs to create three core competencies, namely reliability, responsiveness, and innovation, to create a superior service quality and added value for customers.

Abstract

Health is the most common thing and becomes the primary need of every human being. One way to keep us healthy is to diligently exercise. There are various kinds of sports that can be done, and there are also many facilities provided for sports. One of the facilities that can be utilized is the fitness center. One fitness center in Bandung has an increasing number of consumers and members. This shows the existence of consumer satisfaction, one of the variable to meet customer satisfaction is the existence of good quality service. The method used in this study is a descriptive method using primary data and secondary data, the data that has been obtained is then processed, analyzed and entered into the Cartesian diagram. The results obtained from the quality of services provided are in a fairly good category and many indicators are included in the B quadrant where quality is considered important as a factor supporting consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

This research examined the effect of stock liquidity on the propensity to pay dividend for 254 Indonesian public listed firms during the period of l 2011 and 2015. Stock liquidity implies transparency level and serves as market monitor for management performance in using the cash flow. Furthermore, this research examines the impact of stock liquidity on dividend payment in the presence of agency conflicts using agency proxies, wedge and government ownership. This paper employed multivariate probit regression. The baseline model has controlled for time in-variant and industry sectors. Robustness checks are employed to present consistent result for other stock liquidity measures. The results confirm the predicted dividend model outcome and prove the contradiction in dividend signaling theory.

Abstract

This research investigated the factors affecting the academic registration system used by students in STIE Panca Bhakti Palu based on the Theory of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Research data were collected through the survey. Out of 294 questionnaires distributed to the respondents, 269 questionnaires were returned back (92%), while 25 questionnaires (8%) were incompletely filled in. The obtained data underwent the Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis using Amos 20 for Windows software. The results of this research showed that the ease of use and usefulness had a positive and significant influence on users’ attitude in using the system. Meanwhile, the ease of use positively and significantly influenced the usefulness of the system.

Abstract

The processing industry is a growing industry and accounts for around 1/5 of Indonesia's total Gross Domestic Product. This study analyzes the factors that influence the performance of SMEs in the manufacturing industry sector in Malang. Some variables such as internal and external environment, market orientation, are considered as important variables that influence the performance of SMEs, this study aims to examine the effect of market orientation and strategy flexibility on SME innovation and performance. This research is an explanatory study using a sample of 180 managers of processing industry SMEs in Malang. The data collected was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Strategic flexibility and market orientation are found directly (direct effect) to affect innovation and company performance positively. In addition, proven innovation acts as a mediator in the influence of strategy flexibility and market orientation on company performance. Likewise, company performance has a role as a mediator for each strategy flexibility and market orientation towards innovation.

Abstract

This paper examines factors that may hinder micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in accessing financing from banking services in the area of Madiun Raya. Among barrier access to finance factors is complicated eligibility, low accessibilities and religious factors. However, this study further highlights three factors of barrier access to finance by using Second-order Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to validate these factors. In achieving the objectives, a quantitative approach was applied in this study. This study uses primary data collected through a questionnaire involving 146 selected respondents who have micro businesses around the Madiun Raya area which includes Magetan, Ngawi, Ponorgo, Madiun and Madiun Kota. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in this case, second-order CFA is used as an analysis technique. The study revealed that second order CFA validates three variables which include religious factors, low accessibility and low eligibility are in the best fit indices as factor of access barrier to finance to financial services around Madiun raya area. With the results of this study, it allows academics and researchers to find out the factors that can prevent micro businesses in accessing finance in the context of Indonesian banking institutions.
