Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain the knowledge regarding the influence of Financial Attitude, Financial Knowledge, and Parental Income toward Financial Management Behavior. This research conducted in Merauke, border area of Indonesia. Questionnaire is used to collect the data.The sample 382 respondents. Correspondence analysis and chi-square are used to analyze.The result of this research show that Financial Attitude has influence toward Financial Management Behavior while Financial Knowledge and Parental Income have no influence toward Financial Management Behavior.This research has two implications, (1) attitude is an important factor in supporting financial behavior, where the attitude is generally influenced by environment and social interaction and (2) the financial knowledge has no influence on the financial behavior because financial education is less effective in low-medium income countries or regions.

Abstract

The increasing growth of world cashew consumption is an opportunity for Indonesia and East Java province to increase cashew production. Cashew production on a national scale reached 95,000 tons per year. East Java province contributed about 11% of the national cashew production. Jember is famous as a center for cashew producer in the Eastern region of East Java province and has great potential in the development of agribusiness/agroindustry cashew nuts. However, they found some of problems that hamper the success of cashew farming. The purpose of this study is to formulate a strategy and analyze the development prospects for of cashew Jember Regency. The analysis technique used were Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) matrix, External Factor Evaluation (EFE) matrix, Relative Competitive Position matrix, Internal and External (IE) matrix, and SWOT matrix. The results showed that internal factors are a major force in cashiew farming  was cultivation techniques, while being the weakness was the production and marketing. External factors were the largest opportunity in the farming of cashew was the suitability of land and government policies, while the greatest threat is climate risks and uncertainties. The strategy recommended in the development of cashew Jember Regency is a growth-oriented strategy through horizontal integration (concentration through horizontal integration) with strategic priorities: (1) improving farming techniques with input suitable productive land, quality seeds and adequate capital, so that the product cashew produced can be more qualified and have a more competitive price in the market; and (2) more consistently maintaining the quality of the product, so that the consumer confidence is also increasing.

Abstract

The research objective to be achieved to analyze the effect of psychological capital and employee involvement to job satisfaction in Seamanship Polytechnic Semarang. To analyze the effect of psychological capital, employee engagement and job satisfaction to employee performance in Seamanship Polytechnic Semarang. To analyze the effect of psychological capital and employee involvement to employee performance, moderated by Job Satisfaction in Seamanship Polytechnic Semarang In this study took the population in this study were employees of the Polytechnic Semarang Seamanship, amounting to 218 persons. Sampling with random sampling technique that randomly sampling 142 respondents. Based analyst who conducted the study concluded that psychological capital and employee involvement and significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Capital psychology, employee engagement and job satisfaction positive and significant impact on performance. Job satisfaction does not mediate the effect of psychological capital and employee involvement to employee performance.

Abstract

Dalam menyediakan tempat untuk mengangkut muatan di atas kapal, maka diperlukan ruang muatan. Ruang muatan tidak selalu mengangkut muatan yang sejenis, tetapi terkadang juga harus berganti muatan lain, apabila terjadi demikian maka ruang muat harus dilakukan pembersihan. Karena sesudah ruang muat sudah dibersihkan tetapi surveyor menyatakan ruang muat kurang bersih maka proses pemuatan tidak boleh dilakukan, sehingga akan terjadi penundaan pemuatan. Dalam penulisan penelitian ini, penulis menjabarkan teori tentang pelaksanaan pembersihan ruang muat di kapal MV. VANA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis dari objek yang diteliti. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, melalui metode literatur dan data-datayang berhubungan dengan proses pembersihan ruang muat. Pendekatan teori manajemen digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah yang terjadi pada proses pembersihan ruang muat, teori manajemen ini terdiri dari planning, organizing, actuating,dan controlling. Sehingga akan tercapai suatu tujuan yaitu ruang muat yang bersih dan siap untuk dimuati.

Abstract

This study analyzed the factors which influence the acceptance of the Financial Information System for local Government (SIPKD) using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). TAM stated that behavioral intension to use Information System are determined by two beliefs: perceived usefulness (POU) and perceived ease of use (PEU). Perceived usefulness (POU) was defined as the extent to people  were sure that the use of the system will improve its performance.  Perceived ease of use (PEU) was defined as the extent to people  were sure that the system  is easy to use. This study analyzed the acceptance SIPKD in the context of the acceptance by the user. User are the local government employee have an obligation to run SIPKD. The analysis focused on the user's perception regarding SIPKD they should run. User perception analyzed is user perception about the ease of use SIPKD and user perceptions about the benefits SIPKD in their work. Research was conducted on the SIPKD in the Special Province of Yogyakarta. Respondents of this study 67 from various agencies in the region of Yogyakarta. The results showed that the Perceived usefulness influence  the using of SIPKD, while Perceived Ease of Use does not influence

Abstract

Employee engagement in the workplace is very important, especially for the organizational competitive advantage. Workplace procedural justice is an important motivator for employee work attitude and performance. Employee engagement in the workplace can be built through procedural justice, organizational trust  and organizational Identification. This research is an explanatory research that will explain the causal relationship between variables or through hypothesis testing. The sample in this study was collected through 100 respondents. The criteria of the selected respondents were the ones that working in the production division, since production division is the core of industrial companies. The sampling technique in this study used Partial Least Square. The results of this study supports that organizational trust and organizational identification  as  mediator  the relationship  of procedural justice and employee engagement
