Abstract

The utilization of mobile zakat-based technology on smartphones has been developed through the Zakat Kita application by Nurul Hayat. This research is a case study method. The results of the study indicate that the utilization of mobile zakat is conducted by using Zakat Kita in the process of collecting ZIS funds is still not optimal. The renewal of the system from the application itself is in the development stage; the lack of the maximum application marketing process carried out also causes the collection process through the application is still not optimal. The results of the study also showed that although the collection results through applications showed an increase, the number of users of the application did not show a significant improvement. Utilization of our zakat application has met the empowerment indicators set by the Puskas BAZNAS by fulfilling social, cultural, economic, propaganda and environmental indexes.Keywords: Utilization, Zakat Mobile, Technology, Zakat

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the extent of the Intermediary Function aspect of the Zakat Core Principles that are applied in the management of BAZNAS in the Sidoarjo Regency, which then will be formulated solutions to strive for optimization. The results of the study showed that the information regarding the Zakat Core Principles had not yet reached the Sidoarjo Regency BAZNAS, which certainly had not been applied in its management activities. In its collection, the BAZNAS of Sidoarjo Regency focused on ASNs, but not as muzakki. In the distribution, there were no obstacles so that the ratio of distribution to funds collected was included in the effective or even very effective category, even the synergy between BAZ and LAZ was able to be created. Government support is most needed to optimize the performance of BAZNAS on the Intermediary Function aspect.Keywords: Management of BAZNAS, BAZNAS, Zakat Core Principles, Optimization of Intermediary Function

Abstract

Attitude is suggested to have a link to behavioral intention. This study examines the said information, using Wardah advertisement as a research object. Cosmetics and beauty products have been viewed as something essentials nowadays, brought about by the ease of a someone’s image shared on social media. Moreover, an advertisement from halal beauty products like Wardah which upholds Islamic values will generate positive attitude among Muslims. This attitude would affect customer’s behavioral intention. Using quantitative method and questionnaires which were distributed to Muslim female college students, it can be concluded that a person’s attitude towards Wardah advertisement relates to their behavioral intentions toward mentioned product. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of intellectual capital on firm value through financial performance as a intervening variable on companies that are consistently listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index from 2014 to 2018. Based on purposive sampling techniques, there are 15 companies used as research samples. This research tested used the Structural Equation Modeling method with Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The measurement of intellectual capital in this study uses the VAICTM method, which consists of Value Added Capital Employed (VACA), Value Added Human Capital (VAHU), and Structural Capital Value Added (STVA). It was found that intellectual capital influence on firm's value directly and indirectly. Financial performance as a partial intermediary reflected through Return on Assets (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Total Assets Ratio (DAR), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), and Earnings per Share (EPS). However, only ROA and TATO indicators can reflect financial performance variables. In the intellectual capital variable, there is only one valid indicator, namely physical and financial capital (VACA). Abstract

Research on intention to apply has been done before. Some of  the research that resulted in that the variables - variables that influence on intention to apply is employer branding , reputation of the company , the website recruitment , will be but the results of the study are contained inaccuracies which said that the reputation of the company and website recruitment no effect on intention to apply, so it needs to do research back to answer the formulation of the problems associated with the effect of employer branding, reputation of the company and website recruitment against intention to apply. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of employer branding, company reputation, and website recruitment on intention to apply. The population in the study subjects was 102,290 people with a sample of respondents as many as 99 people. The method of determining the sample using simple random sampling method. Data collection in this study was carried out through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The approach that is used in research this is the approach of quantitative, testing the hypothesis in research is using Partial Least Square (PLS) version 3.2.9. Results of the study show the employer branding and reputation of the company has influence positively and significantly to intention to apply, while the website recruitment has influence negatively and significantly against intention to apply.Keywords: employer branding, company reputation, website recruitment, intention to apply

Abstract

This study aims to review the effect of internal bank factors and macroeconomics factors such as liquidity, financing risk, profit-loss sharing rate, the level of securities ownership, interest rate, inflation, and economic growth against Islamic bank financing in Indonesia.  The data used for this research is time series data with monthly frequency from January 2014 to December 2019. Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) Model results show that in the short term, inflation and economic growth have a significant positive effect on Islamic bank financing. While variable liquidity, financing risk, the level of securities ownership and interest rate have negatively correlated with Islamic bank financing. In the long run liquidity, the level of securities ownership, and economic growth is positive and significant, while financing risk and interest rate have a significant negative effect on Islamic bank financing. In otherwise, profit-loss sharing rate is negative and not significant both in the short and long run.  Keywords: ARDL, Financing, Islamic Banking, Internal Bank Factors, External Bank Factors

Abstract

The goals of this scientific report are to understand determinants of stocks’ market value on Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). Determinants used in this study including cash flow statements, financial ratios, and firm size. This study used quantitative approach which is explanatory research with data panel regression method. Data used in this study is secondary data, which collected from firms annual reports during scientific periods. Populations in this study are Jakarta Islamic Index 30 (JII 30) emitents on 2014-2018 and samples are 15 firms chosen through purposive sampling methods. The results from this study are, cash flow from operating activities, cash flow from investing activities, cash flow from financing activities, profitability ratio, leverage ratio, liquidity ratio, and firm size have a significant effect on firm value (prob. 0.0000), simultanously. Partially, cash flow from operating activities, cash flow from financing activities, liquidity ratio, and firm size has a negative significant effect on firm value, while cash flow from investing activities, profitability ratio, and leverage ratio has a positive significant effect on firm value. Abstract

This research aimed to find out the management and distribution of zakat funds in the economic empowerment of the people. The analysis technique used is descriptive with a case study method where this research uses several data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Funds used in the program are funds obtained from zakat if zakat funds have not been considered sufficient, then, amil will take the funds available in infaq so that they are adequate to be distributed. Afterward, mustahik will be given ten months to return the business capital assistance that has been provided before. The empowerment program was declared successful in reducing the number of poor and disadvantaged people due to the reduction in the number of members from 120 to 80 people. Success in managing incoming ZIS funds is tantamount to success in utilizing ZIS funds for empowering the poor.Keywords: productive zakat, Bina Mandiri Wirausaha Program, economic empowerment, LAZISMU

Abstract

This study is composed to prove whether the Theory of Planned Behavior variables, namely attitudes, subjective norms, and behavioral control perceived by the citizens of Surabaya have a significant effect on their intention to Sharia House Ownership Loans (De Rayyan Developer Property). This is a quantitative study by using multiple regression analysis techniques. Criteria of respondents in this study were residents of Surabaya according to the criteria that has been established by the researcher. The total sample obtained was 94 people by using a simple random sampling technique. The findings of this study indicated that the exogenous variables in the Theory of Planned Behavior are subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control has a significant effect on Surabaya residents' intentions for Sharia Home Ownership Loans. On the contrary, the attiude variable does not significantly influence the intention of residents of Surabaya for shariah home ownership credit. The suggestion of this research is to add new exogenous variables that have the possibility of having significant effects such as the level of religiosity and trust in Sharia Property Developer.Keywords: Sharia House Ownership Credit, Intention, Theory of Planned Behavior, Surabaya Citizen, De Rayyan Property Developer
