Abstract

There is an interesting phenomena recently that the demand of umroh serviceincreases significantly. This increase is caused by the waiting list for Hajj departure which has to wait for a few years later to take place. This makes the society to take an alternative umroh first which doesnt have to wait for too long.This research aims to find out the effect of umroh package price, inflation rate and rupiah exchange for dollar towards Surabaya umroh service demand during 2011-2013 period. This research uses quantitative approach method and multiple linear regression analysis.The result shows that the umroh packageprice, inflation rate, and rupiah exchange for dollar variables simultaneously do not have significant effect towards Surabaya umroh service demand during 2011-2013 period. For addition, simultaneously the umroh package price, inflation rate, and exchange rate variables give negative effect towards Surabaya umroh service demand during 2011-2013 period.Umroh service bureaus especially those which reside in Surabaya need to maintain and improve their performances well in order to provide satisfaction and loyalty of the jamaah to increase the demand of umroh service.

Abstract

The objectives of this research to analyze the influence of capital adequacy as measured by Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), intermediary functions as measured by Non Performing Financing (NPF), financial problems as measured by Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), and operational cost as measured by BOPO to profitability as measured by Return On Asset (ROA) of Islamic Banking Industry in the period of 2010-2012. The population used for the study is Islamic banks whose financial statements have been published to Bank Indonesia from 2010-2012. The sampling techniques is cencus sampling, so the sample in this study is every unit in a population. The data of this study used secondary data from the website of Bank Indonesia. The method of data analysis which was used is multiple linier regression analysis.From the result of analyse indicate that CAR, NPF, and BOPO variables has significantly affcet in partial toward ROA at level of significant less than 0,05, but only FDR variable has no significantly affect to the ROA. While, CAR, FDR, NPF, and BOPO variables in simultan has no affect to the ROA with a significance level of 0,000.

Abstract

Every investor wants a secure investment and provides profit (in-return). This study aimed to analyze the effect of Price Earnings Ratio (PER), Price Book Value (PBV) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on stock returns Vendor property and real estate listed in Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) in the period 2011-2013. This study used quantitative analysis with panel data estimation methods with time series in 2011-2013 and cross section data of thirty-one companies used α = 5% significance level. The regression results in this study indicated that the independent variables Price Earnings Ratio (PER) and variable Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) significantly shown negative effect on stock returns, meanwhile the variable Price Book Value (PBV) significantly shown positive effect on stock returns. While simultaneously brought a significant effect on stock returns and real estate properties listed in Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) in period 2011-2013.

Abstract

Islam teaches every human being which have been blessed by Allah SWT with various advantages to be thankful for what they have by utilizing his/her ability through dig and developing his/her potential in a good way, so that it can be meaningful for him/herself as well as to other people. The teachers at school, which has been trusted by other parties to constantly, transfers his/her knowledge and conduct their pupil according to the characteristics of Rasulullah SAW so that they’re able to reach success in that school, and of the characteristic is tabligh. The outcome of this research is, teachers have implemented tabligh on the teaching –learning process communicatively, it was proofed by the fulfillment of 5 indicators which are; communication, model, education, wisdom and firmness which caused the escalation of student’s morality until today. The teachers which have implemented tabligh are able to create a pleasant and conducive class with Islamic ethics. The implementation of tabligh is able to create excellent and high quality human resources.The excellent and high quality human resources will be able to build his/her economiccondition as well as build the nation’s.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Islamic service quality on customer satisfaction and loyalty switching intentions moderated by religious knowledge level in in Customer of BRISyariah Bank in Surabaya.The research method used is quantitative approach. This research use a total of 96 customers of BRISyariah Surabaya. Customer characteristics used are Moslem, registered as a funding or deposit customer for at least a year. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. This research uses a method PLS (Partial Least Square).The results showed that Islamic service quality has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction. Other results showed that customer satisfaction has significant impact to customer loyalty and Islamic service quality has significant effect on customer loyalty. This results in accordance with the theory of Othman and Owen that CARTER could be used to measure the quality of service on Islamic Banking. Suggestion for the BRISyariah Bank in Surabaya should maintain and improve its service quality in order to improve satisfaction and form a loyal customer. For further research, can be done by adding another variable which affect customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of funding of BMT Teladan towards microenterprises performances in Semolowaru’s Market Surabaya. Questionnaires are used to collect the primary data. The data is analyzed by using one of quantitative approaches which is simple regressive analysis. The samples of the analysis are 30 BMT Teladan customers who have been partners for at least one years. Purposive sampling is used as it eases the researcher to take detailed informations and it also appropriate towards the aim of the research.The result of the research shows that the BMT Teladan funding which covers Ijarah and Murabahah financing are indeed influential towards micro-enterprises performances in increasing earnings and asset of micro-enterpreneur in Semolowaru’s Market Surabaya. BMT Teladan shoud provide stronger internal factors for increasing the performances of micro-enterprises such as developing and empowering human resources (microenterpreneur). The successes and failures of an enterprise or a business relies on the capability of its human resources especially in applying business strategy. In other words, the success of an enterprise is determined by the quality of its human resources as microenterpreneurs. It is hoped for the next further research to use a broaderfactor (internal and external) that influences the performance of micro-enterprises.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of targeted financing in BMT Surya Gemilang village Sedayulawas Brondong distridt of Lamongan through the financing to its customers and financial report statements, as well as the customers’ trust in taking capital.This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive case study. To collect the data, this study uses purposive sampling and snowball technique. The results of this study show that the effectiveness of targeted financing is annually achieved as planned by BMT Surya Gemilang. This is reflected in the provision of financing to customers and the financial reports which always reach the target as well as the smooth repayment of loans by customers.

Abstract

This descriptive study aims for describe the blessing in earning got by the laundry entrepreneur. There are four guidance that can be use to describe it. In addition, this study also describe the justified muamalah in Islam and the meaning of blessing in earning. The method used for collecting data was In-depth interview with the main informant and other informant that related with this study. Main informant in this research was the owner of Lavende Laundry. The result from this research showed that the blessing in earning can be earned by appy the religious theaching. Laundry entrepreneur got their blessed earning by applying the muamalah accordance to Islam. In the end, that blessed earning and muamalah brings in sincerity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the theoretical and practical application of murabahah about how the application by the Muamalat Bank branches of Darmo Surabaya.Methods of research of This study used a qualitative approach with the case study methods and descriptive analyzes. Then the researchers took the data in PT Bank Muamalat with some informants to be interviewed in depth, observed, and the data validated by triangulation methode.These results indicate that the implementation of the bank Muamalat Murabahahdarmo Surabaya branch office in according with the contained in the fatwa of murabahah which stated selling price to the buyer, then the flow of murabahah transaction can not be implemented in accordance with the provisions contained in fatwa because the field of business in Indonesia is still limited, it is not appropriate , next is the method in recognizing income / margin in the murabahah using the annuity method so that implementation of Muamalat bank financing is suitable with the fatwa number 84.

Abstract

Financing is one of the products of Islamic banking, but because of the many requirements that must be complited by SME who need it then their capital needs are not fulfilled. One of the financial institutions that have the same product is Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT).BMT present to fulfill the capital needs of the SMEs who have the problem of capital. By this existing phenomena, this study intends to look at the effectiveness of the financing in order to improve the performance of this SMEs. This research aims to determine whether the financing is provided by BMT Nurul Jannah Gresik effective in improving the performance of SMEs that become their customers and see what business improvement has been achieved such as increased turnover, business assets, revenues, and stability efforts. The results of this research to get the findings that the financing is provided by BMT Nurul Jannah Gresik very effective in improving the performance of SMEs who have become clients in addition to the financing is given BMT Nurul Jannah assist SMEs in meeting the other without prejudice to individual principles of trust and trust that they receive.Keyword : Effectiveness, mudharaba, Baitul Maal wat Tamwil, SMEs
