Abstract

Poverty indicates a population's inability to meet average minimum needs. This study aims to analyze the impact of inflation, government spending, population, and wages on poverty in Sumatra Island. This observation is quantitative research and auxiliary data in the form of time series data using panel data from 2017 to 2021 in as many as ten provinces with panel data analysis, which is assisted by the Eviews 12 application. Based on the panel results, it is concluded that the variables of inflation, government spending, and wages significantly positively affect poverty in Sumatra. In contrast, population has no impact on poverty in Sumatra.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors that drive economic growth in Banten Province.The scope of this survey covers 8 districts in Banten Province.The data used are secondary data and cross sectional data. The results of the study indicated that there was a positive and significant relationship between the variables of labor force and government expenditure and economic growth, while unemployment had a significant negative effect on economic growth. The results showed that the variables of labor force, government expenditure and unemployment had a significant effect on economic growth in Banten Province.

Abstract

Lampung Province is adjacent to the major entrance to Sumatra Island, however its HDI has not yet caught up to those of the other provinces on Sumatra Island. This reveals that, in comparison to other provinces on the island of Sumatra, Lampung Province has strategic potential for advancing the welfare of its citizens that has not yet been fully achieved. Examining the effects of economic growth, life expectancy, GRDP, health infrastructure, education infrastructure, and spending for health and education services on HDI in Lampung Province is the goal of this study. This study uses secondary data sources from the djpk.kemenkeu.go.id website and the Lampung Province Central Statistics Agency (BPS) website. The methodology of this study is quantitative, and it analyzes 15 districts and cities utilizing Eviews 13 software by employing the "random effect model" or REM method. According to the study's findings, HDI in Lampung Province increased between 2018 and 2021 as a consequence of improvements in GRDP, life expectancy, educational infrastructure, and health function spending. Meanwhile, the variables Economic Growth, Health Infrastructure, and Education Function Expenditures did not influence the HDI in Lampung Province in the same period.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of Financial Knowledge, Financial Attitudes and Personality on Financial Management Behavior (Students of the Faculty of Economics, Management Department, Bachelorwiyata University of Tamansiswa Yogyakarta). This research is descriptive in nature with a quantitative method using the lemeshow formula with a sample size of 96 respondents. The research results prove that financial knowledge and personality influence financial management behavior, while financial attitudes do not influence financial management behavior.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore how management can prevent and control fraud and also anticipate the impact of fluctuations in ABC gas station revenues. The research methodology employed in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study conducted at ABC Gas Station. Data was gathered through interviews with the head of the finance department, administrative personnel, supervisors, managers, the director of ABC Gas Station, and the SPI Foundation team. The collected data was then analyzed and further developed utilizing the Triangle Fraud Theory, consisting of pressure, opportunity, and rationalization. By comprehending these factors, ABC Gas Station can pinpoint potential areas susceptible to fraudulent activities and implement appropriate controls to prevent them. This study provides valuable insights into the financial management practices at ABC Gas Station, offering actionable recommendations to strengthen operational integrity and navigate the challenges posed by fraud and revenue fluctuations. By implementing these suggestions, gas stations can ensure more robust financial management and secure long-term sustainability in a competitive market. This research significantly advances the understanding of financial management within gas stations by conducting a comprehensive evaluation of its susceptibility to fraudulent activities, particularly in light of past incidents. It uniquely combines financial analysis with the Triangle Fraud Theory to comprehensively assess the weaknesses in the financial management system and the justifications behind fraudulent actions. This integration of financial evaluation and fraud theory represents a fresh perspective in addressing financial integrity in gas station businesses.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how company value (case study of property and real estate companies listed on the IDX from 2018 to 2022) can be influenced by liquidity, capital structure and profitability. We have observed 87 real estate and property companies listed on the IDX from 2018 to 2022. The dependent variable is company value and the independent variables are liquidity, capital structure and profitability. With the results of this research using a partial test (t test), there is a large and positive influence on company value produced by profitability and liquidity, and a small and positive influence produced by capital structure. This is shown by the incomplete test calculation resulting in a Beta value of 0.095 and a t count of 1.195 with a significance value of 0.146 > 0.05.

Abstract

One of the government's programs aimed at improving access to electricity for the community to achieve a national electrification ratio of 100%, conducted by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, is the New Electricity Connection Assistance Program (NECAP). NECAP is a government initiative to equalize access to electricity throughout the archipelago to enhance electrification ratios and provide electricity to low-income households. NECAP covers the installation of electrical power, installation costs, Certification of Operation Eligibility (SLO) costs, new connection costs to PT PLN (Persero), and the initial purchase of electricity tokens. Risk management is required to identify and manage risks in order to achieve these objectives. The aim of this research is to provide an overview of the implementation of risk management in the NECAP program. The method used in this research is interviews with individuals directly involved in the NECAP program. The results of this research include a list of risks and how risk management is implemented in the NECAP program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explain the result of 1) customer satisfaction over digital marketing; 2) customer satisfaction over product quality; 3) purchasing decisions over digital marketing; 4) purchasing decision over product quality; 5) customer satisfaction with purchasing decisions; 6) digital marketing on purchasing decisions through customer satisfaction; 7) purchasing decisions on product quality through customer satisfaction. A type approach used in this study is a quantitative approach method. The targeted people in this study are Makassar citizenship which has accounts and users of Shopee services. This study used purposive sampling with a type of judgment sampling is 95 samples. The data is collected by distributing questionnaires to students of Office Automation Management. This study uses the Structural Equational Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis method. The study result found: 1) a significant result in customer satisfaction over digital marketing; 2) a significant result in customer satisfaction over product quality; 3) a significant result in purchasing decisions over digital marketing; 4) a significant result in purchasing decision over product quality; 5) a significant result on purchasing decisions customer satisfaction; 6) through customer satisfaction, digital marketing has a significant impact on purchasing decisions; 7) customer satisfaction has a significant impact on purchasing decisions due to product quality.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the Influence of Training and Work Discipline on the Performance of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Building Unit Employees Divre III Palembang LRT SUMSEL Maintenance Area. The method used is quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quantitative analysis is a research method based on the philosophy of positivism, used to research certain populations or samples, collecting data using research instruments, data analysis is quantitative or independent, with the aim of testing established hypotheses. Quantitative Analysis is used to see the results of the questionnaire using a literary scale. Based on the test results, the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) was obtained at 0.773. This shows that the training and work discipline variables influence the performance variable by 77.3%. Meanwhile, the remaining 22.7% is explained by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the extent to which organizational trust, brand image, and religiosity influence donation decisions at the Integrated Village Service Foundation (PESAT), with information quality as an intervening variable. This study utilizes a quantitative approach and falls under the explanatory research type. The research sample consists of 115 PESAT donors selected using quota sampling. Data obtained are analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis techniques through SmartPLS software and SPSS 23. The research results indicate that organizational trust and information quality significantly influence donation decisions, while brand image and religiosity do not have a significant impact on donation decisions. Other findings show that the brand image and religiosity variables significantly affect information quality, while organizational trust does not have a significant impact on information quality. Regarding indirect influence, it is found that brand image significantly influences donation decisions through information quality, and religiosity significantly influences donation decisions through information quality, whereas organizational trust does not significantly influence donation decisions through information quality. Simultaneously, organizational trust, brand image, and religiosity collectively influence donation decisions.
