Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal the pattern of entrepreneurship education in Chinese ethnic families of SMK students at Negeri 1 Pasuruan. The research approach was a descriptive qualitative case study. The results of the study showed that Chinese ethnic students' families taught their children entrepreneurship from childhood by getting used to participating in business practices that had been done, family education was able to shape students' perspectives to be more open and broad-minded, key principles taught was the unique values that they had been held and believed for generations. The element of the entrepreneurial spirit that was formed includes self-confidence, willingness, and interest in entrepreneurship, and locus of control.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop an authentic performance-based assessment instrument in a proper Archival Management course through expert validation and product trials that have been carried out at State University of Malang and meet the National Standards of Higher Education. The research method used Research and Development which was modified into 7 steps with data analysis techniques using  mean. Products developed include assessment instruments that were  equipped with Student Worksheets, performance observation sheets, and guidelines for scoring criteria. Based on content validation and construct produce works with very decent criteria, the trial  conducted by  lecturers and students stated that the instrument could be used very easily.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of teaching factory implementation in Vocational High Schools  in increasing  the entrepreneurial spirit of students.  This  research used a  descriptive qualitative research approach  that is  case studies;  data collection is done by observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. The results of the study showed that the implementation was carried out  following  industry standards,  the evaluation was carried out during the process and performance of the final good/service. In general teaching,  factoring can improve student skills in production,  yet  the development of entrepreneurial spirit  relatively  has not improved much. The main inhibiting factor of this learning is related to the lack of understanding of  creating  student entrepreneurial spirit but  it  is more focused on improving the student skill on production.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the mentoring model used and whether entrepreneurship mentoring can increase student entrepreneurial intentions of students who participate in studentpreneur corner programs. The type of research conducted in this study is a quantitative approach. The population in this study was participants from the studentpreneur corner program at the Faculty of Economics, State University of Surabaya (UNESA) with a total of 17 respondents. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used simple linear regression analysis by using the SPSS 25 program. The results of the research showed that entrepreneurial mentoring had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest in the studentpreneur corner program. This was indicated by the regression coefficient of 0.404. That is, if entrepreneurship mentoring was carried out by mentors the better, the more positive the impact will be on the increased student entrepreneurial interests who participate in studentpreneur corner programs.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the public relations activities of vocational high schools (SMK) in connecting between schools and the community, one of which is DU/DI. The purpose of this study was to determine public relations activities at SMK, forms of partnership with DU/DI and forms of public relations activities in supporting partnerships with DU / DI at SMK. This type of research was qualitative research. Collecting data was from a natural setting by using the researcher as a key instrument. Sources of data in the study were the results of interviews, documents, and social environment. The form of vocational partnership with DU/DI consisted of 9 cooperation forms and forms of public relations activities in support of partnerships with DU/DI was to conduct industry visits regularly, renewed the form of cooperation with DU/DI, as well as being an intermediary between Internship students and DU/DI. Overall results illustrated that school public relations activities in collaboration with DU/DI had been going well, but it had not been maximized.
