Abstract

Result of this study shows that two of three of its users around the world, internet is not reachable technology especially in hinterland and remote area.Usage of satellite and optic fiber for internet system in those areas is not affordable. By using Google Loon technology,internet users in the areas can access internet.Google Loon is able to spread accessibility of internet up to 1250 km²(wide) or 40 km diameter), and speed of accessibility reaches 3G(10Mbps)

Abstract

DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcasting- Terresrial) merupakan sebuah standar terbuka dalam transmisi video digital yang telah diakui secara internasional dikeluarkan oleh ETSI. Pada penelitian ini akan menganalisis pengaruh pemilihan jenis modulasi yang digunakan terhadap performansi layanan DVB-T pada sistem High Altitude Platforms Station (HAPS). HAPS yang dikenal sebagai stratospheric broadband adalah sebuah standar infrastruktur telekomunikasi yang serupa dengan satellite, yang ditempatkan di lapisan stratosfer. HAPS dikembangkan untuk menjalankan layanan serupa satellite dengan biaya yang lebih hemat, waktu perealisasian yang jauh lebih pendek dan memiliki cakupan yang jauh lebih besar dibandingkan dengan infrastuktur terestial saat ini. Kanal HAPS dapat menyediakan hubungan LOS antara platform HAPS dengan user sehingga dapat disimulasikan dengan kanal rician. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, performansi layanan DVB-T pada sistem HAPS dipengaruhi oleh jenis modulasi dan mode kerja yang digunakan, penggunaan modulasi QPSK dengan mode kerja 8K memberikan performansi paling baik, dengan memenuhi nilai BER yang telah ditentukan yaitu lebih kecil dari 10-4

Abstract

Sistem kendali perangkat listrik terutama lampu pada saat ini masih menggunakan kaedah konvensional yaitu masih menggunakan saklar sebagai antarmuka sistem. Teknologi remote merupakan teknologi untuk mempermudah pengguna untuk mengeksekusi perangkat elektronik secara jarak jauh. Akan tetapi teknologi remote yang digunakan saat ini rata-rata masih menggunakan teknologi inframerah. Teknologi inframerah mempunyai beberapa keterbatasan dalam mengirimkan sinyalnya yaitu arah transmisi dan jarak. Berbeda dengan sistem tranmisi radio frekuensi yang dapat dicapai dari segala arah dan mempunyai jarak trasnmisi yang jauh. Dalam tujuan penelitian adalah membangun sistem kendali jarak jauh perangkat listrik terutama lampu menggunakan teknologi radio frekuensi. Sistem dibangun dalam dua sistem yaitu sistem pemancar dan sistem penerima berbasis mikrokontroler dan modul radio frekuensi. Metodelogi pengembangannya dimulai dengan analisa sistem, perancangan alat, pembuatan algoritma program, pengkodean dan pengujian sistem. Penelitian ini menghasilkan prototipe sistem kendali perangkat listrik wireless berbasis Radio Frekuensi.

Abstract

Radicals produced naturally in the body, can cause various diseases when present in large quantities. High levels of free radical compounds showed low antioxidant activity that leads to degeneration of the body cells, metabolic disorder, decreased immune response that trigger the emergence of a variety of degenerative diseases. Need extra antioxidants from outside the body in order to help prevent the adverse effects of free radicals, such as antioxidants derived from plants used as cooking ingredients or food ingredients. There are some herbal plants that are a source of natural antioxidants , which are also used as a spice, such as turmeric (Curcuma domestica), ginger (Zingiber offcinale), nutmeg (Myristica fragrans), paprika (Capsicum annum), lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus), galangal (Alpinia galangal), onion (Allium cepa) and garlic (Allium sativum).

Abstract

Human resource factor is a mainly asset in the enterprise, because it has a unique characteristic and will not easy to imitated by the competitor. To make a well management of human resource process and its development in the enterprise is important. Together with the coming of information era, then the utilization of information technology to manage and develop the human resource is really necessary. Its means the human resources which managed traditionally would be change by manage it electronically. In the other word, the term of human resource management (HRM) changed by electronic human resource management (e-HRM). Certainly, to develop and manage e-HRM continuously is not easy without the consideration of such factors that exist within it as: human, organization, communication, and technology factors. Therefore, in this article explained such factor that will encourage these four factors in e-HRM practice, with the result is the e-HRM well management, and finally will increase the human resource development in the enterprise. After the consideration of human, organization, communication and technology factor, then continue by analyzed ten of social theory and used it to encourage the e-HRM development perfectly, where the utilization of each social theory is adjusted with appropriate factor only. The social theories that used in this article are: 1) Attribution theory, 2) Act* theory, 3) Argumentation theory, 4) Contagion theory, 5) Cognitive dissonance theory, 6) Agenda setting theory, 7) Absorptive capacity theory, 8) Actor network theory, 9) Adaptive structuration theory, and 10) Administrative behavior theory. Furthermore, the last part of this article is an explanation of human, organization, ommunication, and technology factor, and how to make each factor will give an effective function in e-HRM practice by using the social theory style in order the development of e-HRM more effective, efficient, and increase continuously.

Abstract

Antagonism nutrient study for K, Ca and Mg in the Inceptisol soil that applied manure, dolomite and fertilizers KCl to the growth of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata L.). The purpose of this research is to study the interaction between potassium fertilizer, dolomite and chicken manure on the growth of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata L.) and assess the antagonism nutrient for K, Ca and Mg in the Inceptisol soil that applied manure, dolomite and fertilizers KCl against growing sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata L.). The result showed the interaction between potassium fertilizer, dolomite and chicken manure on the uptake of calcium, potassium and magnesium in plants sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata L.). There is antagonism nutrient calcium, potassium and magnesium plant sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata L.) on the ground Inceptisol that applied manure, dolomite and fertilizers KCl. The balance of the nutrient uptake of calcium, potassium and magnesium plant achieved at doses of potassium fertilizer at 100 kg K2O / ha

Abstract

HAPS (High Altitude Platform Station) is an airship or aircraft positioned 17-22 km altitude, or in stratosphere. HAPS is the development infrastructure of telecommunication network as BTS/BS replacement. BTS / BS is seen still has shortcomings in funding and capacity range. HAPS position is on the air layer will effected by wind disgusting so that position of HAPS will change form its normal state called Platform Displacement. Therefore, in this research, we will discuss the impact of HAPS displacement on the quality of service perceived MS (Mobile Station) by measuring the throughput. Throughput values will be mesured during MS is doing handover (HO) process, user is a mobile user who is doing WiMAX VoIP communications. Users will be simulated moves with constant speed of 50 km / h, 80 km / h, 120km / h and 200 km / h. Platform will simulated in some position upward, downward, to the right and to the left. When platform moves upward, cells will increase the coverage so each cell will interfere their neighbor especially when MS is doing HO process

Abstract

Influence levels of lead (Pb) in plants glodokan (Polyalthia longifolia Sonn) against the density of stomata and chlorophyll was strongly influenced by differences in the number of motor vehicles and physical factors contained in Langsa. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors influencing the accumulation of lead (Pb) in the three streets in the city this Langsa. This research implemented in March 2014, analyzed at the Center for Research and Standard, tissue culture USU (Universitas Sumatera Utara) Medan. The research location is determined by using the method Purpasive Radom Sampling at the third street, namely: Jalan A. Yani, Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Medan B.Aceh. On the road A. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada PT. X yang bergerak pada bidang industri pertambangan dan penjualan batubara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengolahan air limbah, dosis dan efektivitas penggunaan Alumunium Sulfat untuk menurunkan kadar Total Suspended Solid (TSS) serta biaya yang harus dikeluarkan perusahaan dari penggunaan Alumunium Sulfat pada pengolahan air limbah tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei, dan pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam menganalisa data-data yang didapatkan adalah dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Selain hasil pengukuran dan pengamatan dilapangan, data primer lainnya didapatkan dengan melakukan wawancara secara mendalam(indepth interview) pada responden yang dinilai dapat menjadi sumber informasi yang baik. Hasil dari penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa sumber air limbah penambangan batu bara merupakan run-off di areal Pit B yang berasal dari mata air yang berada di sekeliling dinding Pit B (area tambang) dan air limpasan hujan yang bercampur dengan lapisan over burden (OB) pada saat dilakukan kegiatan penambangan batu bara. Pengolahan air limbah kegiatan penambangan batu bara yang ditujukan untuk mengurangi kadar TSS pada air limbah tambang, dilakukan dengan teknologi pengolahan aktif. Efektivitas penggunaan Aluminium Sulfat (tawas) untuk menurunkan kadar konsentrasi parameter TSS dengan dosis yang telah ditentukan PT. X adalah sebesar 86,74 %.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang identifikasi daging buah kopi Robusta (Coffea robusta) yang berasal dari provinsi Aceh. Sampel yang digunakan berasal dari Kabupaten Aceh Tengah dan Kabupaten Gayo Lues. Metode identifikasi meliputi skrining fitokimia, analisis kadar air dan analisis kadar timbal (Pb). Untuk pengujian skrining fitokimia daging buah kopi berasal dari kabupaten Aceh Tengah diperoleh hasil kandungan senyawa alkaloid, flavonoid dan polifenol, sedangkan untuk kabupaten Gayo Lues diperoleh kandungan senyawa alkaloid, flavonoid, terpenoid dan polifenol. Pada pengujian analisis kadar air pada daging buah kopi robusta asal Kabupaten Aceh Tengah sebesar 78 %, sedangkan Kabupaten Gayo Lues sebesar 90 %. Kemudian analisis kadar timbal, untuk kabupaten Aceh Tengah diperoleh sebesar 0,0984 ppm dan kabupaten Gayo Lues sebesar 0,0783 ppm.
