Abstract

Infrastructure development in underdeveloped areas is one of the main priorities in efforts to equalize development in Indonesia. Southeast Aceh Regency, as a region with geographical and economic challenges, requires infrastructure development that can improve connectivity and community welfare. This study aims to analyze the economic and financial feasibility of road and bridge construction projects in Southeast Aceh Regency. The methods used in this study are cost-benefit analysis (CBA), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR). The results of the study indicate that this project is financially feasible with a positive NPV of IDR 6,500,000,000, an IRR of 8%, and a BCR of 1.1. Economically, this project provides significant social benefits, although the financial returns are relatively low. Increased access to markets, health facilities, and education are expected to improve the quality of life of the community. Although this project does not provide very high financial returns, the social benefits obtained are much greater, so this project is feasible to implement with support from the government and community participation.

Abstract

The Tabut event in Bengkulu is a rich cultural tradition and has high social value, attracting the attention of many visitors. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived cultural values on consumer purchase intentions within the context of the event. The method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the relationships between variables. The research population consisted of 171 people, and the sample was determined using Slovin’s formula with a 5% margin of error (0.05), resulting in a sample of 120 people selected through purposive sampling. The study results show that perceived cultural values have a significant positive influence on consumer purchase intentions. A strong cultural identity encourages consumers to buy products that are perceived to represent their cultural values. Additionally, high social value plays an important role in encouraging consumers to participate in the tradition and support local business actors. Positive emotional experiences during the event also increase consumers’ desire to make purchases, where social interactions and involvement in cultural activities strengthen the emotional connection with the product. This study provides valuable insights for marketers and business actors in designing more effective strategies to attract consumers during cultural events such as Tabut

Abstract

Creating decent jobs for persons with disabilities makes workers with disabilities ready to compete in the labor market. Along with the times, the role of the internet and technological developments have reached a very rapid level which can help determine the status of workers with disabilities. Apart from the influence of the internet and technology there are other demographic factors that affect the status of workers with disabilities. The purpose of this research is to look at an overview of workers with disabilities from several factors and analyze the influence of internet technology and other variables on the status of workers with disabilities in Central Sulawesi Province. The method used is binary logistic regression analysis. The results of the study found that the role of the internet and technology greatly influenced the status of disabled workers during normal circumstances and during a pandemic. However, there is a decrease in the odds ratio due to the pandemic factor. The use of the internet and digital technology increase the chance for persons with disabilities to work in the formal sector.
