Abstract

Dampak globalisasi di Kawasan Danau Toba telah menyebabkan hilangnya identitas kawasan yang telah mengakibatkan penurunan nilai dan image kawasan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjadikan elemen vernakular sebagai identitas pada tata ruang kawasan, melalui penerapan teori regionalisme kritis. Lokasi penelitian berada di Desa Tongging, Kecamatan Merek, Kabupaten Karo. Tahapan penelitian terdiri dari pengumpulan data melalui arsip literatur tentang vernakular Batak Toba dan survey aktivitas masyarakat Tongging melalui observasi, penyebaran kuesioner, dan wawancara semi-terstruktur, tahap analisis dan sintesis berupa analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian berupa potensi kawasan yang dapat dikembangkan sebagai identitas kawasan berdasarkan interpretasi elemen vernakular, yaitu: 1) budaya agraris; 2) penataan ruang yang mengadopsi bentuk kampung; 3) budaya gotong royong melalui peningkatan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam perbaikan kawasan; dan 4) bentuk arsitektur tropis yang beradaptasi terhadap iklim.Dampak globalisasi di Kawasan Danau Toba telah menyebabkan hilangnya identitas kawasan yang telah mengakibatkan penurunan nilai dan image kawasan. Abstract

Sukabumi development approach which has been more emphasis on economic growth tends to ignore the regional disparities. Therefore, it is necessary to study and identify the direction of regional development policy . By knowing the level of disparity that occurred in this research sought leading sectors and the level of regional development to build of the Sukabumi city. The analytical method used is the Williamson index , Theil index , Location Quotient , Shift Share Analysis , Entropy and Schallogram . From the analysis  is known that there has been a disparities of Sukabumi areas in middle category / uneven . The development of the old town area which consists of a level hierarchy I and II have the balance of diversity and economic sectors better, the leading sector dominated by the tertiary sector which is urban characteristics . While the new city area, including the development of a hierarchy of regions III and leading sectors dominated by primary and secondary sectors which are characteristic of rural areas.Sukabumi development approach which has been more emphasis on economic growth tends to ignore the regional disparities. Abstract

River is a first transportation for connection city to village and central for economic community. Nowadays, land transportation is a trend  for connection city to village. River transportation have been not priority, due to land transportation more easy to access, low cost and faster rather than river transportation. River have been not priority for infrastructure and river is a backward. River is facing serious problems such as physical and environmental problem. River are still occupy for lower income people as a reason house can built by themselves and close to work location with a location in green belt area. Thispaper try to arguehow is a problem in  river transportation. The location of this research is Kahayan River, Palangkaraya City. This research aim is to reveal of potential of river transportation and unique of moda transportation will be revitalize of Kahayan riverside area of Palangkaraya City, Central Kalimantan.River is a first transportation for connection city to village and central for economic community. Abstract

Urban development is inseparable from the problem of the urban informal. The informal sector is a sector that will always grow and thrive. Various issues that arise in urban development is the problem of the location of the activity space street vendors (PKL) in the urban space. The problem of space activity occurs in the informal street vendors space settlements or urban space. PKL is one of the supporters of the activity in a public space that can be categorized as an 'activity support'. These activities tend to be located in a place according to its activity. Meanwhile, there is little discussion of urban street vendors in view space. Until now, the discussion is more to the economic, social and policy. In addition, many of the types of activities studied, space requirements, physical arrangement and the arrangement of the display / architectural aesthetics. The methodology used in conducting the study concerns the location of street vendors in the urban space using the method of literature revie. Given this method, can identify deficiencies / weaknesses of the informal sector theory and the theory of space to determine the location of street vendors in urban spaces. The conclusion of this research is to study the behavior of PKL space that affect the determination of the location of trade.Abstract : Urban development is inseparable from the problem of the urban informal.
