Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology have supported human activities by providing easy access. Educational institutions must currently be able to take advantage of online media that can be accessed through smartphones or computers connected to the internet, one of the manifestations is the design of a school profile website. The school's website profile can be used as one of the media to support this goal. This Scientific Paper discusses the design of a school profile website using the WordPress platform. The design of this website profile uses a waterfall methodology which includes analysis, design, implementation and testing. In its design, Use Case Diagram and Activity Diagram are used. The testing process is carried out using the Blackbox Testing method. Included features include a profile menu, gallery, academic information, facilities, and contact information. The creation of a school website profile is expected to be an effective solution for schools in conveying various information to the general public, including prospective students, the surrounding community, students who are studying, parents, and other parties. Thus, all interested parties can easily access the latest and relevant information regarding the school.

Abstract

Signature image classification is an important field of image processing. One of the stages of signature classification is segmentation. The segmentation process aims to detect image pixels that are part of the signature and separate them from text or logo pixels in a document image. There is a signature segmentation technique using interest points extracted using the SURF (Speeded Up Robust Features) algorithm [1] In this technique, a connected component pixel will be considered part of the signature if it has more SURF points in common with the database connected component pixel signature. Compared to the similarity with the database connected component non-signature pixels. This method is able to provide good accuracy results for signature pixel segmentation. However, the recall value is relatively low, namely 56%. This is because many connected component logos are considered as connected component signatures. In this study, signature segmentation was carried out using SURF points by adding two things: 1) using internal connected component characteristics as additional classification atributs: extent, solidity, ratio, and circularity 2) using an Artificial Neural Network classification algorithm to assist the segmentation process. The test results show that the proposed method improves segmentation quality by an average of 20.7% for an increase in accuracy, an average of 22.4% for an increase in precision, and an average of 18.6% for an increase in recall. When compared with the results reported in (Ahmed et al., 2012), the recall has increased by 38.3% - 42.8%

Abstract

Privacy has become a major concern with the rapid adoption of various smart devices and internet connections. The randomized MAC (Media Access Control) address for each device was implemented for privacy. Problems arose when implementing randomized MAC addresses on captive portals with connection limitations per user. Random classification by VOUI of the device used to assist the device elimination decisions in the captive portal. MAC address data was obtained from devices connected to the captive portal. The data is processed to be grouped into two separate classes, whether random or not, with four device Mac address threshold and four random percentage threshold. Logistic regression was used to determine the classification with the highest level of accuracy. Of the 16 experiments, it was found that all of them had an accuracy above 92%. The maximum accuracy of 95% was obtained in an experiment using a Mac address threshold of 6 and a random percentage threshold of 50%. This indicates that a value of 6 for the Mac address threshold and a value of 50% for the random percentage threshold can be used for random Mac address classification.

Abstract

Youtube Podcast “Susahnya Jadi Perempuan” which addresses feminist issues has garnered attention from viewers of Najwa Shihab Channel. In this digital era, sentiment analysis of audience response is needed to understanding public perception. Method that can used to determine discussion topics and analyze sentiments is using Latent Dirichlet Allocation and Support Vector Machine. Analysis of 10.979 comments using LDA identified two subtopics: discussion about the invented speakers and gender roles in daily life. Along with this, sentiment analysis using an optimized SVM (C=1, gamma=1, kernel=linear) which classified sentiments into Positive, Negative, and Neutral categories with an accuracy of 67%. The main challenge was the low recall value for Neutral sentiments classification. The results showed that in subtopic 0, there were 3.503 Negative sentiments, 3.255 Positive sentiments, and 822 Neutral sentiments. In subtopic 1, there were 1.485 Negative sentiments, 1.671 Positive sentiments, and 243 Neutral sentiments.

Abstract

The cosmetic industry, encompassing skincare, underwent a growth rate of up to 9.61%, as indicated by data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). With the ongoing expansion of the cosmetic sector, the production of products, particularly those featuring active ingredients in skincare, increased accordingly. Consequently, the utilization of these active ingredients witnessed an upward trend. Twitter data pertaining to active skincare ingredients was collected, forming a substantial dataset that required methods for analyzing topics and opinions. To identify latent topic information, topic modeling using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) was employed. Prior to conducting topic modeling, clustering was initially performed using K-Means to facilitate the categorization of the extensive dataset into more specific data groups. Subsequently, sentiment analysis was carried out using the InSet Lexicon. The research resulted in four clusters, each of which underwent topic modeling with LDA.Cluster 1 unveiled a topic focusing on the content of alpha arbutin, with sentiment results of 42.5% positive, 45% negative, and 12.5% neutral. Cluster 2 centered around the content of reinol and AHA BHA, with sentiment results of 41.36% positive, 46.99% negative, and 12.13% neutral. Cluster 3 delved into the content of salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid, with sentiment results of 40.57% positive, 42.62% negative, and 16.80% neutral. Lastly, Cluster 4 discussed the clay mask "Skintific" containing mugwort, with sentiment results of 41.67% positive, 43.94% negative, and 14.39% neutral. This research is anticipated to be beneficial and can be utilized by the skincare industry to update the company's business strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to build an Augmented Reality (AR) based "Jaliboard" learning media application by focusing on several problems that need to be overcome in the development of AR applications. The main problem faced is designing an attractive and entertaining application and explaining how to play to users. The method used by the author is the GDLC (Game Development Lifecycle) method which includes the concept design, design, implementation, testing, and deployment phases. In the concept design phase, the author makes an initial design of the AR game and compiles hardware and software requirements for making applications. The design phase involves making interface designs, usecase diagrams and application flow diagrams. Things such as assets, environment, AR markers, and finalization of the application are done in the implementation phase. The testing phase is carried out to ensure the quality of the application. The test results using blackbox testing show that the application can be run on three different devices namely Redmi Note 10, Samsung S8 and Redmi Note 11 and marker detection is successfully carried out at a certain distance, with a maximum detection distance limit of up to 30cm.. In the deployment phase, the app was launched with an effective marketing strategy through G-Drive. By applying GDLC and paying attention to the test results, the problems can be overcome by designing the application using a clear flow chart, as well as optimizing the content in the application.

Abstract

A Indonesia has the largest Muslim majority population in the world, with a total of 237.53 million people as of December 31 2021, which means 86.9% of Indonesia's population is Muslim. The law requires businesses to register their products, such as food and drinks. Many applicants received by BPJPH were canceled because the raw materials used did not have halal certificates yet. Products that wish to have halal certificates are produced by MSE entrepreneurs who live in rural areas far from the city center based on the results of field surveys by the Halal Product Process Assistant (P3H). BPJPH seeks to solve theproblem by creating a digital e-commerce platform where users can buy and sell products, especially halal food and beverage raw materials, online. This research aims to produce a backend for SiHALAL using Firebase which is suitable for SiHALAL because it needs to handle large amounts of user, product andorder data and data must be updated in real time. This research uses Black Box Testing as application testing methods. Black Box testing results show that the application can carry out its functionality
