Abstract

Background: psychosocial problems are problems that are prone to occur in children with cancer and the COVID-19 pandemic can be one of the factors that exacerbates the psychosocial problems of children with cancer.Pupose: this study aims to describe the psychosocial problems of children with cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic.Methods: the design of this research is descriptive with the number of respondents as many as 28 people. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. This study uses a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability before. The data analysis used in this research is univariate analysis.Results: the results showed that the majority of 15 respondents (53.6%) had negative psychosocial values. The results also showed that 19 respondents (67.9%) experienced anxiety, 16 respondents (57.1%) received poor social support, 17 respondents (60.7%) had social problems, 15 respondents (53.6%) ) experienced symptoms of depression and 15 respondents (53.6%) had a bad body imageConclusion: the description of the psychosocial problems of children with cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic shows that most of the respondents have negative psychosocial outcomes.

Abstract

Backgrounds: during the Covid-19 pandemic, many parents who had children with cancer experienced anxiety due to changes in their child's care. And if the anxiety is not addressed, parents become unresponsive to their children's needs thus further negatively affect their children's conditionPurpose: this study aims to describe the anxiety of parents who have children with cancer during the Covid-19 pandemic.Methods: this study use descriptive research design and non-probability sampling (consecutive sampling technique) to select 30 respondents. This study also used Corona Pandemic Anxiety Scale-11 item (CPAS-11) questionnaire to collect data and was analyzed using uni-variate analysisResults: the results of the analysis 0f 30 respondents, the majority are in early adulthood (60%), are mothers (76.7%), last education high school (50%), have a child with stage 2 cancer (53.3%), and the length of time the child has suffered is 0-5 years (96.7%). Researchers then found the majority of parents in this study (50%) experienced moderate levels of anxiety, and the majority of parents with severe anxiety levels had children at school age (6-12 years) (25%), had children with 0-5 years of suffering. (17.2%), and having a child with stage 2 cancer (18.8%).Conclusion: most of the parents involved in this study experienced moderate levels of anxiety with various accompanying characteristics. The result of this research can be used as a literature study for nursing students to collaborate with the hospital in developing and finding appropriate interventions to overcome anxiety in parents with children with cancer.

Abstract

Background: Schizophrenia is a psychosis, a type of mental illness characterized by distortions in thinking, perception, emotion, language, sense of self and behavior. One of the symptoms is hallucinations, hallucinations: hearing, seeing or feeling things in the absence of external stimuli. This sensory perception disorder includes all five senses. One of them is auditory hallucinations.Objective: to describe the implementation of the nursing process for mental health with impaired sensory perception, auditory hallucinations, Mrs. F at Prof.Dr. Soerojo Magelang.Methods: this research was conducted using a descriptive method. Collecting data by interview and observation on the nursing process in patients with auditory hallucinations.Results: there was an increase in knowledge and ability to control hallucinations,Conclusion: Nursing care for schizophrenic patients with hallucinations can increase knowledge and ability to control hallucination.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure that can pump blood throughout the body within limits above normal. Hypertension is the number one cause of death in the world and is more common in the elderly. This causes various disturbances to a person, one of which is spiritual distress. One of the efforts that can be done to reduce the level of spiritual distress is dhikr and wudu therapy.Purpose: The effect of Dhikr and Wudu as therapy on spiritual distress in hypertantion patients.Methods: this study used a Quasy Eexperiment Nonequivalent Control Group Design study on 36 respondents who had hypertension, which consisted of 18 for the intervension group and 18 for the control group.Results: the results of  the  Wilcoxon test in the intervention group showed that the p value of changes in the level of spiritual distress before and after being given dhikr and wudu therapy was 0,000, indicating p 0,05. While the results of the Paired Sample T Test in the control group obtained p value of 0.010 indicating p 0,05. The results of the mann whitney test showed that the p value was 0,000 indicating p 0,05Conclusion: there is an effect of dhikr and wudhu therapy on spiritual distress in patients with hypertension.

Abstract

Background: risk of Violent Behavior (RPK) is an angry response or vulnerable behavior carried out by someone where the behavior is at risk of endangering oneself, others, and the surrounding environment. There are two factors that influence the risk of violent behavior, namely predisposing factors and precipitation factors.Purpose: this study aims to describe how nursing care risks violent behavior.Methods: this study uses a qualitative method using a nursing process approach. The subjects in this study were 1 client at Risk for Violent Behavior.Results: the results of this study are the result of mental nursing care at the risk of social behavior through interventions to build a trusting relationship, help clients express their angry feelings, help clients reveal signs of violent behavior they experience, discuss with clients violent behavior committed, discuss with clients the consequences negative consequences of the act, discuss how to express healthy anger. Conclusion: the provision of nursing care to clients is adjusted to the client's problems and responses.

Abstract

Background: Breast milk is a liquid formed from a mixture of two substances, namely fat and water contained in a solution of protein, lactose and inorganic salts produced by the mother's breast glands and is useful as baby food and breastfeeding for six months without drinking or drinking. any food, including clear water, vitamins and medicine without the addition of any fluids. A good and correct feeding pattern for babies is to exclusively breastfeed babies from birth to 6 months of age and continue until the baby is 24 months old. Husband's support is a vital part in the success or failure of breastfeeding.Research Objectives: to find out the relationship between husband's support for exclusive breastfeeding for breastfeeding mothers in Batursari Village, Batangan District, Pati Regency.Methods: The type of research used is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The population studied were breastfeeding mothers in Batursari Village, Batangan District, Pati Regency as many as 40 breastfeeding mothers. Chi-square was used to analize the data.Results: breastfeeding mothers in Batursari Village, Batangan District, Pati Regency, mostly had good husband support as many as 24 respondents (66.7%) and gave exclusive breastfeeding as many as 21 respondents (58.3%). There is a relationship between husband's support for exclusive breastfeeding for breastfeeding mothers in Batursari Village, Batangan District, Pati Regency.Conclusion: Husband’s support is very important to help mother sucseed in breastfeeding.

Abstract

Background: increasing age will cause physical and structural changes and a decline in function. The problem of the elderly that often is the lack of ability to adapt to psychological changes so that the elderly will experience psychological disorders, one of which is depression.Purpose: to determine the effect of reminiscence therapy on depression levels in the elderly in Rw 03 Pojok Village, Pulokulon 2 Health Center Working Area, Grobogan Regency.Methods: pre-experimental research with a one-group pre-test and post-test design approach. The sample is 16 respondents. Data analysis in this study was analyzed using paired t-test (Paired t-Test).Results: the level of depression before being given Reminiscence therapy in the elderly showed an average value of 6.25 while the level of depression after being given Reminiscence therapy showed an average value of 2.94 which means it decreased with p_value = 0.000 0.05.Conclusion: there is an effect of reminiscence therapy on decreasing depression levels in the elderly with p_value = 0.000.Suggestion: Provide guidance and direction to the elderly and their families to carry out reminiscance therapy activities to reduce the level of depression in the elderly independently.
