Abstract

One of the biggest mangrove crab producing areas in Bone Regency is Cenrana District. The increase in the number of mangrove crab production in 2016 was the largest contribution of the Cenrana Subdistrict. However, as demand for mangrove crabs in Bone Regency continues to increase, the amount of production has not been able to meet the market demand for mangrove crabs even though their production has increased. This study aims to analyze the influence of production inputs (farmland, seeds, feed and labor) on the production of mangrove crabs. This research was conducted in Cenrana Subdistrict, Bone Regency, where the location was determined purposively. This research was conducted from February to March 2018. Respondents in this study were mangrove crab farmers who were selected using a sampling method of 92 people. The data analysis used is multiple regression analysis with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method, the model used is the Cobb-Douglas production function equation. The results showed that the increase in mangrove crab production was influenced by farmland factors (0,231), seeds (0,459), feed (0,155) and labor (0,238) and had a positive and significant effect on the production of mangrove crabs. Mangrove crab production will increase because there is a potential for increased production of mangrove crabs with the certainty of seed availability through improved mangrove habitat improvement, regulation of catching mangrove crab eggs laying eggs and environmental improvements due to pollution around the upper reaches of the Cenrana River Bone Regency.

Abstract

This research focuses on the distribution or distribution system of fertilizer production facilities (saprotan) in Pamekasan Regency. Agricultural production facilities are a major component that is important in the success of government programs in agriculture. Especially on the availability of fertilizers, both subsidized and non-subsidized fertilizers. This research was conducted in Pamekasan district by conducting enumeration activities on farm stalls and shops throughout Pamekasan Regency. The results of the enumeration activities show that the total number of kiosks, both official and non-official, is 313 kiosks. This amount is certainly very large, especially with the average number of kiosks of 24 kiosks per sub-district. Ironically, the problem of fertilizing fertilizers is still common, especially in terms of fertilizer availability during the growing season. This research is expected to be a basis for evaluation in determining the policy of the availability of fertilizer production facilities at the national level. This certainly has an impact on society, not only in agriculture, but also social, economic and health..

Abstract

"The use of local wisdom in the management of agriculture is a solution to improve the efficiency of agriculture. Subak is a form of local wisdom in the management of wetland rice cultivation, which until now is still used by some people from Bali Island in the overseas region. The community applying the subak system believes that the management of its operations is more efficient through the implementation of the subak system. This study aims to determine the income of subak and non subak groups and the relationship between socio-cultural subak and income from wetland rice cultivation. Data collection is done by the observation method, interviews and bibliographic studies on the sample / respondent of the study. The research respondents were 60, determined by design and randomly. The analysis used is a descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that the income of farmers in the subak group was higher than that of non-subak farmers with an average income of IDR 12,672,686.67 for the subak group and IDR10,198,529.41 for the non-subak group. There is no structured relationship between socio-cultural income and the total income of each responding farmer, whether subak or non-subak, but if the sociocultural score is high, the income obtained by farmers is also high.
