Abstract

TiO2, ZnO and TiO2: ZnO Thin film have been deposited on glass substrate by sol-gel method of Spray Coating Technique. TiO2: ZnO and ZnO can form well above the glass substrate. The precursor solution of TiO2 and TiO2: ZnO is deposited using sol-gel method of Spray Coating Technique. Zinc acetate dehydrate (Zn (COOCH3) 2 .2H2O was dissolved into an isopropanol ((CH3) 2CHOH) solvent and then added monoethanolamine (MEA: HOCH2CH2NH2) .The solution was stirred at 70oC until a clear and homogeneous solution was obtained.Titanium Tetraisopropoxide (TTIP) 0 , 73 ml was dissolved into 4.27 ml of isopropanol and 20 ml of ethanol, after which the solution was titrated with 5 ml of ethanol, 3.4 ml acetic acid and 0.26 ml H2O, then stirred on hot plate stirrer at room temperature ( Further, the ZnO, TiO2 and TiO2: ZnO precursor gels were sprayed on a glass substrate that was heated at a temperature of 450 ° C. The results of the TiO2 thin film bandgap energy measurement were 3.58 eV, ZnO thin films of 3.08 eV, and a thin layer of TiO2: ZnO of 3.06 eV Doped photodegradation dye Direct blue 10 ppm using UV-reactor The highest percentage of degradation is found in TiO2: ZnO thin film

Abstract

The aims of this research to make poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and poly(dimetilsiloksan) (PDMS) composites separator with blending membrane method. Synthesized of  PVDF/PDMS composites separator used various ratio were 10/0, 9/1, 8/2, and 7/3. The purpose of increasing concentration of PDMS/PVDF to improve the performance of the composites separator which includes a dimensions of porosity, a pore density, and a electrical conductivity. Based on crystallographic analysis using XRD, the increasing concentration number of PDMS to make compositess was influence decreasing of crystallinity until 29.26% in a ratio 7/3.The analysing of FTIR have sound the wavenumber of each phase can distinguish, which this material includes in the criteria of the composites. The result using XRD and FTIR to material PVDF/PDMS composites in all of the ratio constituens have shown the identification of the structure α-phase of PVDF. The increase of concentration number PDMS influenced decreasing of pore dimension and increasing of pore density with the small of pore dimension 1.71 µm and pore density 4.07x1011 count/m2 inthe ratio 7/3. In a ratio 7/3, the value of the electrical conductivity was 3.45x10-4S/cm and the resistance increased up to 80%.

Abstract

The purpose of this experiment is to understand the photochemical property of ethyl acetate extracted from Salam Stem Cortex (Syzygium polyanthum). The electrochemical test of the sample indicated the existence of secondary metabolic compound, i.e flavonoid, alkaloid, steroid, tannin, fenolat and terpenoid. The secondary metabolic compound was mostly beneficial for pharmacology as a herbal medicine.

Abstract

Cd (II) and Zn (II) are examples of heavy metal contaminants in waters that cause serious problems because of their toxicity. Therefore, it is necessary to take effective way to remove heavy metal ions from waters. Adsorption method is widely used because it has several advantages, namely high efficiency, easy handling, reusable, inexpensive, and many choices of materials that are used as adsorbent. One effective adsorbent used is a zeolite because it has high selectivity. This study aims to determine the kinetic model suitable for the process of Cd2+ and Zn2+ metal ion adsorption using Zeolite 4A as an adsorbent. The study was conducted by varying the contact time (10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 and 180 minutes). The results showed that the Cd2+ adsorption process followed the pseudo-second-order model with a value of k = 0.205 g mg-1 min-1, R2 = 0.998, while the Zn2+ adsorption process followed the pseudo-second-order model with a value of k = 0.087 g mg-1 min-1, R2 = 0.995.. ©2017 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. Abstract

This research is an application of Hill Cipher cryptographic techniques in the process of encoding messages in the form of Arabic text. Hill Cipher is a classic cryptographic algorithm that uses modulo matrix and arithmetic in its application. The Arabic text used in the Hill Cipher cryptographic technique includes hijaiyyah letters ا, ب, , ي, أ, إ, ؤ, ئ, ى, ة, space , ., ،, ؟, !, and Arabic numbers 0, 1, 9, so the modulo used is                    . This study discusses the steps in encrypting messages with examples of their application in securing Arabic text documents.

Abstract

The purpose of this experiment is to utilize natural resources as the candidate of low cost and mass production of silica and to understand the effect of KOH concentration as solvent to the phase structure of silica. The silica was prepared by sol-gel method with rice husk ashes as the raw material from natural resources. The sample was further characterized by X-Ray Diffractometer.  The grain size of samples was 490,35 nm, 700,88 nm and 490,44 nm for solvent variation of 5%, 10% and 15% respectively. Those three samples contain silica (SiO2) and magnesium oxide (MgO) obtained from XRD data. ©2017 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. All rights reserved
